Ashley Mac Photographs

Ashley and her team was perfect on our wedding day. It poured on our wedding day but our photos went seamlessly. Her planning with photos and keeping her cool through the rain kept me calm. With the rain coming quickly after our ceremony we had to cut family portraits short. Thankfully Ashley reminded me of this before she left at the end of the night and we could finish getting photos with grandparents and my husband’s side of the family. Also, because of the rain we were unable to get sunset pictures on the dock where we had our reception. Those photos were very important to us. (One of the reasons be chose our venue) She once again pulled us to get gorgeous photos in the dark when the rain had stopped later in the night. We also had Ashley take our engagement photos a year prior to our wedding. They came out beautiful. We went to two different locations, Sandy Hook and my fathers boat docked in Rumson. It also was about to storm that day. So we took windy photos on the beach which still looked amazing then got some photos on my fathers boat. Ashley was great the entire time. She hopped on the boat and look some of my favorite pictures with my now husband. Ashley was truly a blessing to have capture the best day of our life.

We hired Ashley for our wedding in August 2021 and it was the BEST decision we made! Ashley was incredibly easy to communicate with, we filled out a questionnaire to give her some information about us as a couple and had an in-depth phone call where we talked about our detailed schedule and plans for our wedding day. Ashley compiled lists of important people and items to capture in her photography, she had an extra photographer and an assistant to help with logistics. Our wedding, which was supposed to be at the Sandy Hook Chapel, was cancelled 24 hours prior due to Hurricane Henri. It was especially chaotic during those last 24 hours, but when communicating with Ashley about the change of plans, she was so flexible! We reworked the timeline and locations for our first look, bridal party photos, etc. The photos are AMAZING! She captured every moment, curated and spontaneous. She was there from the time I was getting in my dress, to the time we cut our cake, getting it all. Our photos were ready in a few weeks and we have had so much fun looking at them since! We will certainly cherish them forever <3 We highly recommend working with Ashley Mac to photograph your NJ wedding!

We loved having Ashley photograph our wedding, but now having been in a few weddings since our own I am even more grateful for her! Ashley was punctual, helped us create our day-of timeline, and made sure we stuck to it when the big day came. She gave clear direction and worked efficiently to take the most incredible pictures for us. We were so pleasantly surprised with how many photos we got after our event and we love each and every one of them. Ashley’s use of natural light and eye for the perfect back drop made our portraits enchanting and made everyone look their absolute best. Also, being a dog lover herself, she was even able to get our golden retriever to cooperate in portraits and snapped the best candids of her during the ceremony. Ashley Mac Photographs was the best! From our initial meeting with Ashley she made us feel like friends just sitting and having coffee while going over the basic plans for the wedding. She offered amazing vendor recommendations for others she had worked with in the past the proved to be very helpful. Leading up to our wedding Ashley or a member of her staff were reachable and always responded to emails quickly and courteously. On the day of our wedding Ashley and her secondary photographer (Gina) were the utmost professional but at the same time gave off a very relaxed and easy vibe to allow my husband and I to feel comfortable. This was especially good for my husband who can be camera shy. Ashley and Gina were on time (if not early) for arriving to our venue and were so organized while working through our shot list. My parents continue to comment on how seamlessly we went through all the family shots. In my mind I was asking for a large grouping of pictures because I wanted to make sure we had a wide variety of shots (parents with B&G, B&G with siblings, B with siblings, G with B's siblings... I think you get the idea). Ashley came fully prepared with an organized way to gather all these people together quickly. During the ceremony and reception Ashley and Gina were seen snapping shots of all the important moments along with capturing all the details including the handmade decorations and signs we created, table and floral arrangements and a large number of amazing and hysterical candids. When Ashley sent us our Sneak Peak and then the full gallery of photos we were blown away by the number of shots she was able to share with us. There were so many to choose from it gave us a great way to relive the best day of our lives. I would recommend Ashley Mac Photographs to anyone asking for a professional photographer. She will outshine your highest expectations!

Ashley is truly amazing! After watching her do her thing at my best friend's wedding in 2019; newly engaged me knew I had to have her for my wedding! Not only are her photos gorgeous, but she was so helpful with all things wedding. Our wedding was originally scheduled for November 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to alter our plans and Ashley and her team were incredible during every step of our reschedule process. They continuously gave updates on available dates, responded promptly to emails about rescheduling and even offered a micro wedding package! Ashley join us for our micro wedding in September 2020 and will be joining us again at our wedding reception in September 2021! Ashley and her team (we had Amanda on our wedding day) were the absolute best! First of all, Ashely is just the absolute sweetest. Not to mention she takes the most beautiful and perfect photographs. Ashley was recommended to us by a family friend, and once we looked at her photos, I knew we had to meet with her. From the moment my (now) husband and I first met Ashley, we instantly felt at ease and comfortable. She answered all of our (many) questions in detail and we knew without a doubt after our first meeting that we wanted her has our wedding photographer. Leading up to our wedding day (in May 2019), she was always quick to respond whenever I had a question or thought and was extremely organized and prepared, which I greatly appreciated. And we couldn’t have been happier with how the day went. :) We received our sneak peek just 5 days after our wedding and were absolutely blown away! The photos are beautiful and even more amazing than we’d ever imagined. She captured our day so perfectly, and we are so thankful to Ashley. We received all of our wedding photos 6 weeks after our wedding and were just as happy! The amount of detail that went into each and every photo is a testament to how passionate Ashley is for her work. We hope to have the opportunity to work with Ashley again in the future. Let me start by saying that I met Ashley on my wedding day. We spoke on the phone several times and emailed back and forth throughout the year but I will admit I was a little skeptical about having to meet my photographer the day of (we had opted to use a family member for our engagement photos so this was on us, not her!) But boy was all of my apprehension alleviated as soon as we met. Ashley is AMAZING. She was up against all the odds on our New Year's Eve wedding day with it being rainy, cold and wet... it was certainly not the ideal weather. However, despite all of that she was still able to create her airy, light and dreamy look. I could not have been happier with the results. She was able to turn a gloomy weather day into bright and brilliant photography. She captured moments I never knew existed and created portraits that will last a lifetime framed on our walls and in beautiful albums. You will never look for another photographer after choosing to work with Ashley!

Thanks to the charismatic photography of Ashley Mac and team, we have solidified the feeling, excitement and love of our wedding forever. Not only was Ashley a pleasure to work with, but her commitment to our day and capturing the moments surpassed our expectations. From day one, Ashley was supportive in not only photography, but also assisted with making timelines for the days and advised us on the many decisions we had to make. She was extremely thorough in breaking down all possibilities and due to her exceptional experience, was able to give us all the pros and cons of each choice (EG – First-look, family photos, procession lines, etc.) My favorite part of her photography is the fact she was able to capture the atmosphere and excitement of our guests, which will be preserved forever. I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Ashley!!! Ashley shot our 8/18/18 wedding and it was the best decision we made. I heard of Ashley through an odd occurrence and knew that she had to photograph our wedding. She makes the time with her fun and easy. She is so punctual and professional too! I am still looking through our wedding pictures (which we got a sneak peek so fast AND our pictures back soon too), amazed at how she captured each moment perfectly. I wish we could go back and do the whole day again with Ashley!!

I was completely lost when I started wedding planning. I had no idea what I wanted or where to begin looking for it. That's one of the reasons I gave myself two and a half years to figure it out! Once I booked my venue though they provided me with a preferred vendor list and when it came to finding a photographer that's where I started. I knew that I wanted a photographer with a natural, light style. We met with two other companies, but once we sat down with Ashley we were immediately hooked! Her online portfolio had drawn us in but her welcoming personality, professionalism, and genuine interest in our love story sealed the deal. We started with an engagement session the summer before our wedding. Not only did Ashley drive down to the Jersey shore to take our pictures, but she made us feel completely comfortable throughout the whole session. My husband is even camera shy and by the end of the session he told me he felt like a model. She knew exactly what to say to get us to have the best look or have the best poses, both formal and candid, to get the best pictures. Not to mention she made it look like we were on a tropical island instead of the Jersey shore. We were only reaffirmed that we had made the right decision. In the months to come Ashley kept in touch and made sure everything was set up and no detail was left uncovered for the big day. That afternoon Ashley came to our hotel to shoot the bridesmaids and I as were just finishing getting ready and her partner went to shoot my husband and the groomsmen. Those getting ready photos are some of my favorite shots! They are so artistic and personal. She had such clear shots of our rings and then incorporated my other jewelry, flowers, and engagement Crystal Disney slipper and button! Looking back over the rest of the day's photos have been such a wonderful experience. I was surprised to see so many since I never saw or noticed her taking photos. It was like she was a ghost capturing all the perfect moments but not interrupting them! From the ceremony, to the formal family portraits, to the party dance moves, Ashley and her partner got every moment I wanted to now have to look back on forever. I usually have to have tissues on had as they make me cry with tears of joy. As do most of my family and friends when I share the photos with them too! Those moments were priceless and now thanks to Ashley we have them forever in our photos.

Ashley was our engagement and wedding photographer for our wedding on 5/27/18 and we could not be happier! All of the pictures were absolutely beautiful! She was so easy-going and made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her and her second photographer captured every wonderful part of our day and we are so thankful we chose her to be our wedding photographer. It's so hard to choose which pictures to frame, they are all so beautiful! Anyone looking for a wedding photographer should look no further than Ashley!

Where do we even begin?! Ashley recently photographed our December wedding and the whole experience was AMAZING from start to finish. We originally booked Ashley more than a year before our wedding (after connecting with several other photographers) and just knew that she would do a wonderful job. We wanted our photos to be light, bright and airy and that is exactly what we got! Leading up to the wedding, she was so pleasant to work with, answered emails so fast and even sent us the cutest package a few months beforehand. Then, the day of, she was on time, so calm, amazing at giving direction and everyone in our bridal party loved her (and her friend Alex that was the second photographer!) All of the photos were absolutely gorgeous. I'm having trouble just picking out my top 100! She also honestly captured some of the best wedding reception photos that we'd ever seen - our guests have been commenting, "I don't even remember seeing a photographer there!" All in all, we couldn't be happier!

My husband and I hired Ashley to do our engagement shoot back in October 2015 and knew she would be our wedding photographer for our 11/3/17 wedding! The photos were nothing short of amazing they came out perfectly! Ashley is an incredible photographer who works using natural lighting and natural expressions which was something I loved about her! Both my husband and I wanted someone who would be there to capture all the important things without huge lights and flashes in our way and Ashley and her team did exactly that. Ashley is creative, professional, fun, patient, and honestly amazing at what she does. We met her 2 years before our wedding and booked her as soon as our consultation was over. We fell in love with her photography style--light, fun, natural, romantic and i knew she was going to do a great job. Our engagement photos came out amazing, especially given the terrible weather conditions the day i choose to shoot! She worked her magic and they came out awesome. We also got our photos back in a very short amount of time. Our wedding photos were even more amazing. She and her assistant were so easy to work with during a hectic and long day and we got a ton of high quality, gorgeous shots. Ashley was always super responsive to my million emails. Ashley was amazing! From the communication before the wedding to the day of the event she helped make everything go smoothly and stress free. Loved working with Ashley! Ashley took our photos for both our engagement and wedding. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and truly ensures that you have an amazing experience during the photo process and once you receive your photos. She is ridiculously organized, and I appreciated how much detail she wanted from us to ensure we not only got the pictures we wanted, but also so that we could take them as efficiently as possible. I could not have asked for a better photographer for our Hudson Valley wedding. Ashley was the one piece of the wedding that I did not stress about because I knew that she was a true professional. She arrived on time, made our guests feel comfortable with her, and got every shot that we hoped for. We hired Ashley for our engagement shoot and also as our wedding day photographer. While our wedding isn't until July, Ashley did such an amazing job on our engagement photos. She is professional, energetic, and incredibly passionate. Ashley was so easy to work with- engagement photos are uncomfortable for most people at first, but she made us feel completely natural. They came out so beautifully that it was almost impossible to pick just one for our save the date because we loved them all!
