We give our all communicating regularly with her couples to perfect their wedding day. Helping others & bringing a smile to someone's face has always been Ashley's passion in life & getting to help bring ease to her couples on one of their most important days is her goal, giving her so much joy! Ashley May Events takes pride in making sure your day is filled with love & laughter while also taking the time to create a wedding day that is elegant, beautiful, and uniquely you.
Ashley May Events currently has 2 packages to choose from. Couples can choose from either Month of Planning & Coordination or Semi Planning & Coordination to meet their and their future partner's needs. All couples will have access to a personalized profile on Aisle Planner, making it easy to keep on track and organized. Ashley will also provide you with a vendor list that will suit your ideas best after your first consultation. If these two packages are not what you're looking for, don't panic. Ashley May Events is happy to work with couples to customize & create a package just for you, or feel free to add onto either package if the two provided don't meet your needs. They are here to serve & help you to the best of their ability to create the most beautiful, stress-free day you've always dreamed of. Lastly, if you need additional help with maybe planning a rehearsal dinner, day of the wedding, after party, or day after brunch with your loved ones, be sure to let Ashley May Events know, and we will work with you to get that handled as well. With 12 years of being an assistant coordinator, planner & back up lead I realized it is something I thoroughly enjoyed. I decided to jump all in 2023 & bring to you Ashley May Events.
I am passionate about helping people, have a thing for loving everyone, & always enjoy doing what I can to put a smile on someone’s face. This business is ALL OF THAT!!
Outside of working events I'm a wife, momma to my 2 babies, have a horse, 3 cats, 8 dogs, enjoy red wine, evening drives on the ranch & spending time with all my loved ones.

Ashley was everything we could have asked for in a wedding planner. We hired her as our day of planner and we could not have imagined the day without her help and guidance. She went above and beyond to make sure our day ran seamlessly, brought our vision to life and helped to keep me grounded when my nerves were at a all time high.
As a very hands on/type A bride, she made sure I was in the know which helped put my mind at ease. She made note of how nervous I was feeling leading up to our wedding and made sure to call me morning of to check in with me to touch base on how I was feeling. Doesn't get much better than that!
Ashley is very much a people person, is extremely approachable and makes everyone around her feel comfortable. It really did make all the difference.
I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a wedding planner!

My daughter, Katie and her fiancé Beau, were wed in Morro Bay 2/2/25 at Windows on the Water.
I found Ashley online and reached out to her to be our “day of wedding coordinator”.
From the beginning she was gracious and open to all our plans- that seemed to be constantly changing!
Ashley made planning our destination wedding an enormous success…and we had
only six months to plan the grand event.
We took it upon ourselves to do the designs, lighting, table scapes and florals. Having Ashley to bounce ideas off of was priceless.
Ashely coordinated and ran the entire rehearsal and stayed for the set up that evening. She and Hannah worked hard to get everything in place so we would not have much to do the day of the wedding.
The ceremony and the reception were beautiful. We counted on her for all the “day of” finishing touches and she kept everyone on time (not our family’s strength). She coordinated all the vendors and made sure we had all “had crossed all our t’s and had dotted all our i’s”. She even took some pictures that no one else had captured. We all loved that they effortlessly were able to mix and mingle with our guests.
Ashley and her assistant, Hannah, went above and beyond to make Katie and Beau’s wedding day run smoothly and look spectacular!
I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and their excellent work ethic. Together they made all the behind the scenes activities seamless.

We can't say enough great things about Ashley! From the moment we started planning our wedding, she was an absolute lifesaver. Despite the rain on our big day and a timeline that had to be pushed back, Ashley handled every challenge with grace and professionalism. She ensured that everything ran smoothly, keeping us calm and on track even when things didn’t go as planned.
What truly impressed us was how she continued to support us even after the wedding was over. She proactively reached out to check on us and made sure our photographer was in touch with us regarding late/missing photos. It’s rare to find a coordinator who genuinely cares that much about your experience beyond the event itself!
Additionally, Ashley worked seamlessly with all of our vendors. She has an incredible ability to build relationships with everyone involved while still setting boundaries, ensuring a smooth and stress-free event from start to finish.
If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who is professional, caring, and has your very best interest in mind, we highly recommend Ashley. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable!

Ashley and all of her staff were very helpful in keeping our special day on schedule! They worked quietly and diligently to keep all the other vendors and people on a timeline! When things got a little dicey on rehearsal day, Ashley did not even bat an eye she just fixed the situation and made sure there was no stress on the wedding day!! Would recommend her to anyone!

My wife and I could not have asked for anyone better than Ashley! We hired her as a month-of-coordinator but she went above and beyond.
Prior to the wedding day she was there to provide wedding planning advice, stepped in when I was getting frustrated with one of our vendors and communicated perfectly to us + all vendors regarding the timelines.
On the wedding day her and her team were superstars. Not only did she ensure all timelines and vendors were kept on track but did it with patience, professionalism and assertiveness. Many guests and catering staff members have told me how personable but effective she was. She set up our decorations and tables better than we even imagined could happen. She has an eye for design and a creative vision. Some things went wrong but my wife and I only heard about them after Ashley swooped in and provided quick solutions. She also encouraged a great party environment by giving advice to our DJ to make the dance floor more electric, took initiative with using our Polaroid cameras to take guest photos, and just created a happy environment with every interaction with our guests.
I am not always the easiest person to work with but she “managed” me perfectly! She heard me out on my ideas, but wasn’t afraid to make herself heard on important topics. She gave great advice backed by over a decade of experience.
I would highly recommend Ashley as a wedding planner, month of coordinator, day of coordinator, or anything else. She can help you make your event better than you would ever imagine!
Thank you Ashley for being a huge reason why our wedding was so special!

I wish I could do 10 stars. Ashley was a GODSEND from the very beginning. She helped us from the get go with finding and contacting vendors, keeping deadlines in mind, and always being available for any questions I had. She was so responsive and helpful no matter how small our question was. She was fun to work with and made the wedding planning process so much more enjoyable. Most importantly, she helped keep me sane! Weekend of, she kept on top of everything so the day was perfect. She was there until the very end, making sure everything was taken care of and nothing got forgotten. We got many compliments on her and her team, and how nice and helpful they were to our guests. I cannot recommend Ashley and her team enough. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the most magical day because I knew she had it all handled. Do not hesitate to have Ashley May events help make your vision turn into reality, she will not disappoint!

There is a million things I can say about Ashley, but the biggest thing to know about her is that she knows what she’s doing! After I got engaged I was so stressed about planning the wedding and I went to her and she made this experience so easy and stress free. She is on top of contacting all vendors, coming up with ideas, and making it so it’s the best wedding you could ever dream of. She is so kind, loving and you can tell how much she loves and enjoys coordinating weddings. I can’t say enough about how lucky we were to have her there. She’s family to us now and we just love her. Ashley thank you for making my day so easy and beautiful. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.

I can't imagine our wedding without Ashley and her team. Ashley made our vision of our wedding turn out exactly how we wanted it. She thought of every possible detail. She took care of the stressful parts of creating a timeline, communicating with vendors, ceremony and reception set up and take down, literally every single thing. She made things so much easier for my fiancé and I to just enjoy our wonderful day and be the guests of honor. She deserves 10 ⭐️ stars! Ashley is THE absolute best wedding coordinator and made our wedding day more sweet and beautiful than either of us could have imagined. We did not originally plan to hire a coordinator, because both of us are experienced event planners, but it was probably the second best decision we made for our wedding day (second only to deciding to marry each other ;)). Ashley brought every single thoughtful detail together and made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our day. She is warm and caring and personable and skillful. She went above and beyond what we expected of a coordinator, whether she was sending helpful decor ideas ahead of the wedding or making sure we had a drink in our hand as soon as the ceremony was over. :) We seriously can't recommend her highly enough - hire her for all your event coordination!

One of the best pieces of advice I received about wedding planning was to hire a day-of coordinator. Ashley and her team did an AMAZING job. She thinks of all the small details and thought of things I didn't even have on my radar. Our wedding day was truly perfect and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. In addition, she was really flexible and willing to work with our budget. We highly recommend her!

Ashley and her team were amazing! My husband and I hired Ashley May Events to do our wedding day of coordination and have zero regrets. I don’t have enough words to describe how thankful we were to have her. She is professional, detail oriented, creative, kind and incredibly hardworking. Our wedding day was perfect! I didn’t have to worry about any of the little details. She made sure the day ran smoothly by creating a very detailed timeline and helped with everything I requested and more.
As we were getting ready to put on my veil we realized it hadn’t been steamed…it was a wrinkled hot mess. Without hesitation, she offered to do it herself and had it ready to go in just a few minutes. Just one of the many things she did to make sure everything was perfect.
Our wedding was truly the most joyful day of our lives and it would not have been possible without her and her team. She allowed us to enjoy the day and be present in the moment together. To me, that is priceless! Thank you Ashley! We love you

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I had the best experience with Ashley. We hired her as our Day-of Coordinator and she took care of us so well, I kinda wish I found her earlier in the game so she could be with us through the whole planning process. She stepped in and went above and beyond. Ashley AND her amazing assistants are caring, kind, detail-oriented, and ready for anything. We had the wedding of our dreams! There were multiple things leading up to the wedding and day-of that could’ve been really messy and chaotic for me (that had to do with other vendors) but she kept our experience as a top priority and handled 👏🏼 business 👏🏼 by advocating for us and protecting our wishes. Also, she thinks of everything—I kept saying, “Thank God you just asked me that question! I never would’ve considered that.” Bride to bride: The stress you will get to miss out on and the comfort you will have with Ashley on your side is WELL worth it. Have the most magical wedding day!

Ashley was the best thing I could have done for my wedding! She helped me a month up to my wedding. She made contact with my other vendors I already had booked and helped with the small final details. A few days before my outdoor wedding we found out it was going to rain, but Ashley helped with suggestions and getting things shifted to inside last minute. She is so kind and sweet. Talking to her I felt like I had known her for long already. In addition she is detail oriented and really listens to what you want. I would recommend Ashley to anyone I know!

Using Ashley’s services was one of my best decisions with wedding planning that I made. Ashley allowed me to be the most laid back bride and enjoy every aspect due to her coordinating. Ashley took my vision and made it a reality. Ashley was fast and efficient getting back to me or following up with other vendors. She also made this a fun experience- she always had me laughing and never once worrying about anything. I truly recommend hiring Ashley to make your wedding as special as mine.

Ashley planned my wedding from start to finish and honestly I could not have done it without her! She is a God send who will literally help you do whatever needs doing she is also extremely kind and patient and fun!!! She knows all the right questions to ask and provides helpful advice!! She was great help when we were searching for vendors, to include contacting them for additional information and quotes. Ashley and her assistant took care of so many things at the ceremony and reception, we could not have done it without them!!!
