She was & is an absolute star! Camera in her hand or not. She is brilliant and hard working and flexible and kind and humble and all the nice/honest things I can fit in 3500 characters. Ashley makes the delicate balance of playing a critical role in a highly personal and emotionally charged event, while still being a professional-- look easy. Her communication was outstanding- we never waited long for a response. She was happy to answer several questions that I had that were completely unrelated to photography, and had really useful advice. She made me feel confident from the first time I spoke with her that she had every detail taken care of. She discussed the shot list with me beforehand and made sure she was getting every special shot I wanted. The thing I need to stress the most about Ashley is the extreme sense of confidence that I had going into my wedding day-- and on the wedding day-- that everything was being captured perfectly. She was completely on top of things- directing people with confidence, managing to move through formal pictures quickly while getting phenomenal shots, then getting beautiful shots during the reception. It seemed like she never lost a single bit of energy during the over 12 hours that she was working nonstop. In fact, she was so committed to getting the best shots that when she got injured during the wedding- she fell during the outside photos and was fully scraped up and bleeding- I didn’t even know about it until much later because she didn’t even skip a beat! I also want to stress her talent of posing the photos -- she staged the formal photos beautifully, always telling everyone exactly where to put their hands, where to look, what to do, etc. She was even funny, keeping people entertained and having fun! I’m not comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it so easy. She kept saying “beautiful beautiful” when people were posed correctly, which my husband and I thought was so fun and always say to each other now. I also loved her second shooter and would trust anyone that Ashley does. Finally, she arrived early to our meeting and to the wedding. She sent us our finished gallery in less than 2 months, which is much earlier than any of my friends who have gotten married recently, and I’m super happy with the quality of the photos. I’ve gotten so many compliments! It is so clear that photography is Ashley’s passion and she will make every effort to make your wedding absolutely perfect. Ashley is still fairly early in her career and I have no doubt that her rates and popularity will increase dramatically in the coming years, so we feel lucky that she was in our price range and that we were able to book her. She had a playlist made and made a shoot I was very nervous about comfortable and actually fun! I was super pleased with all my photos and they were turned around so quick!! While Ashley was not my wedding photographer I have seen her at another wedding I was a bridesmaid in. This girl is quick! She got beautiful photos of a LARGE bridal party so efficiently without being overly bossy or mean. I would highly highly recommend

I got really overheated and sick during my bridals and she ran to go get my water, helped me get back to the A/C and out of my dress and cooled me off. She went slow with me so we could get more photos, even though I wasn't feeling well, and just made me feel so much better about the whole situation. And she still got amazing photos. I am amazed by how kind and talented she is - I highly recommend you book her for your wedding, engagements, etc because she worked super well with our familes to get everything done quickly and efficiently and still gave us amazing quality photos.

My husband and I have never been crazy about being in front of the camera and were so nervous about having a photoshoot dedicated to us, but Ashley made us feel so comfortable! We got married in College Station, Texas and she drove up for our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and for our wedding. I was not even going to do engagement photos but wanted to incorporate our dogs and Ashley captured the most beautiful photos of us and was able to get amazing photos of our crazy dogs too.
