Ashley is a dream to work with! She first shot our family at natural bridges in Santa Cruz, and they are some of my most treasured possessions. She captures the moment so perfectly, and they are so gorgeously candid and capture everyone’s personalities so wonderfully. She truly is magic and we are always in awe when we get our photos back! We love her so much we hired her to fly out to the Ozarks for our wedding in the woods knowing the photos would capture our special day exactly how we were hoping to! We will be having her capture our special moments for every major milestone always ♥️
Ashley was nothing short of fantastic for our engagement shoot! She communicated promptly and clearly on the location and time of the shoot, down to the exact meeting spot and minute! She made the process smooth, fun, and easy! The photos were breathtaking, and the turn around time was very impressive!

Hello! I am Ashley of Ashley Perl Photography, and I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, and the San Francisco Bay Area. I describe my style as documentary x portraiture- I am a strong believer that there is time for both. My goal is to keep it authentic, fun, and candid while being visually flattering as well. I include a roll of film and a Super 8 mini video (3 minutes long) in all of my packages as a fun add-on, while you will receive hundreds of digitally edited images.
I am happy to customize my services to your unique day. I know that all weddings and couples are unique and will have unique needs and desires. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions about packages outside the standard packages as well.
