ntly had a great connection with her. She is legitimately interested in capturing who you are as a couple, so expect lots of tender moment shots, candids, and absolutely beautiful editing/aesthetics. She also made us feel super comfortable as queer folks doing things a bit non-traditionally. She isn't working with some sort of formula - she's really getting to know you, and the pictures show it. On our wedding day, she and her second shooter were able to capture tons of great shots from every moment of our big day without being intrusive or disruptive. The night before I had a little anxiety attack about how I was going to look in the wedding photos, and I emailed Ashley, and her response was so comforting. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

the wedding day Ashley also took my fiance and I out for an adventure engagement shoot, which we did in Yosemite. We spent the entire day together laughing and criss-crossing the park. We had a great time. Since the wedding we also asked Ashley to do a family photo shoot at a local nature area. Every photo we have framed in our home, on my desk, as my laptop background, or that we sent out as cards for years, was taken by Ashley! Her style has an inherently epic flair. Her way with the subjects puts everyone at ease and draws out the look you want. I wish I more often looked like the photos I see of myself that Ashley took! From quality photographs, to a wonderful presence and personality, Ashley is the kind of photographer you'll hire over and over again, and then invite to your family dinner just to have her around more. I could not recommend her and her work strongly enough.

We were laughing and joking the entire time and this energy really came through in our pictures! The picture gallery is so incredibly beautiful and a few tears were definitely shed. I have them hanging in my living room and I always get compliments on the photos. I will always recommend Ashley for any photography needs and I can't wait to see the photos for my wedding!
