Destination weddings are a very complex project under the best of circumstances, but when a catastrophic weather event forces the postponement of the entire event, it takes only the most consummate planning professional to put it back together and make it a success!........some 20 vendors had to be notified, re-booked or replaced; venues changed or restructured; guests informed and reconfirmed, etc,etc. Ashley and her team not only managed everything with professionalism and expertise, but did so with amazing grace and even a good sense of humor.

Not only does Ashley make wedding planning enjoyable, organized and strategic, but she also has a relationship with just about every vendor in the area which comes in super handy when planning a destination wedding. Ashley has a beautiful eye for design but also a true understanding of logistics of what it means to pull off an incredible event. All of the day-of coordinators that work under Ashley are like mini versions of herself and are also amazing. And when a natural disaster threw off the entire course of our wedding and forced us to reschedule, there wasn't anyone else I would have liked to have by my side than Ashley Rhodes to take the reigns. siest task I've ever been faced with but working with Ashley made it a breeze. She instantly understood my concept and mad it come to life. Our day was beautiful and if anything went wrong, Ashley did a wonderful job of taking care of it because as far as I'm concerned, there wasn't a single "bump" in the whole day. ase. Ashley literally stayed calm during the storm - while our reception was in full swing. There was a rainstorm in the midst of our outdoor wedding on the beach that turned to monsoon-like conditions during our outdoor reception at the Tybee Island Lighhouse. These were risks that we were willing to take in order to have an alfresco wedding. Mother Nature blessed us with a memorable experience. Our guests embraced the rain, the flooding, and being wet by going barefoot, rolling up pants, and letting loose. Our caterer and band carried on too. It was a blast! Ashley kept up with any situations that needed attention, and she took care of everything. Our guests enjoyed themselves and sang in the rain, while Ashley and her amazing staff efficiently handled all of the logistics. We felt truly taken care of. The best part was that Sam and I were able to spend quality time with each other and with our guests. Ashley provided phenomenal service throughout the wedding and reception. She also coordinated our welcome dinner and rehearsal dinner - for 3 consecutive nights. Our destination wedding was enjoyable on so many different levels with thanks to Ashley. Our guests have often mentioned how memorable the experience was, and that they want more! We plan to renew our vows at the lighthouse in the future, and we will certainly hire Ashley again to have more truly magical events. We love Ashley and her staff!
My fiance and I were unfortunate enough to suffer a pretty major catastrophe 2 weeks before our wedding. The planner that we had been using for EVERYTHING in our wedding bailed out...
on us and stole our deposit money. My mom contacted Ashley and she was incredible from the very first conversation. She was completely booked for our wedding weekend but decided to take us on a help us as much as she could anyway. Despite her ridiculously busy schedule, she contacted vendors and arranged all the major items for us. She arranged for everything to be taken care of, which was a lifesaver since we live more than 5 hours away. Ashley was not able to personally be at our wedding due to the short notice but went out of her way to help us. I have no doubt that had I contacted Ashley first, our wedding would have been the dream I had always imagined. Because of Ashley and her efforts we actually got to have our wedding despite all the upsets. Ashley Rhodes saved our big day single handedly. My fiance and I could never thank her enough. We would recommend her to ANYONE for ANY event!!
