Ashley Tiedgen Photography

el comfortable and got the most AMAZING candid and fun shots of me and my husband! Ashley was beyond understanding and easy to work with when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. She has a distinct talent for capturing the special and intimate moments on your wedding day. In addition to her obvious talent, her personable and sweet nature is really what makes her stand out. I can not say enough amazing things about her!

sy! She was extremely efficient and make sure our family photos stayed on track and done quickly! I can't explain how calm she is and how much ease she brought to my day to calm my nerves! I can't wait to work with her again for a family photo session next year. Thank you Ashley for your professionalism and amazing capture of our day!

he most creative person, so her taking the reigns for posing the bridal party and the couples pictures was amazing. And, she really does get on the dance floor!! So fun to work with, and we are beyond grateful for all of the beautiful pictures she took. Thank you so much, Ashley!!

pement and a 2021 reception) and one amazing experience with Ashley. Our experience with her from day one was more of a friendship than a vendor relationship - she took time to get to know us as people and as a couple before we even started talking wedding details. Her style is just the same - she was a friend, making us comfortable the entire way and truly capturing us as people and as a couple. I remember after our engagement shoot feeling like we were so happy and distracted from 'the shoot' there's no way we got more than a handful of good ones and when we received our gallery, I cried; they were all perfect and they were all "us". We had the same experience with both of our weddings and her photography has filled our new home with our best memories. Throughout the three years (and stress of it all), Ashley was very communicative, empathetic and flexible with every bump in the road that the less than ideal year had caused for our wedding. If Ashley's photos are your dream style, 100 out of 10 recommend booking with her - she is worth every penny and will always be in your corner.

eir share of wedding photos), and they all said that Ashley was the best. She was professional, responsive, punctual, and so much fun. Would highly recommend!

the gallery on her website and I just knew her style was exactly what we were looking for. Then when we finally spoke in person, it was like magic. She's literally the most nicest and most fun person, and she puts you at ease. I think that's really the magic to her; you forget that she's taking your pictures because you're just with a really cool person having a great time. Our family/friends still say our engagement photos are the best and most natural that they've seen, and sorry, not sorry; they ain't lying! Ashley is amazing!

ecause our engagement pictures were so on point; one of my friends used her for their baby pictures. My fiancé hates pictures and she did such a great job with getting him to open up and getting candid shots.. not posed shots. Yes, she will give you some posed ones, but let me tell you.. she can open people up and can capture people's true love and personalities through her pictures. I even got compliments from my bridesmaids about how Ashley just fit right in and made us all laugh and feel so comfortable with her. throughout the day. She pays attention to detail and catches all the "in the moment" pictures and even gets pictures you never thought you wanted. She is very organized, flexible, and makes sure the day of your wedding if there is anything specific you want (family pictures, etc) so nothing is missed. I plan on using Ashley any time I need a photographer. I highly, highly recommend Ashley! Pictures are one of only things you can look back on your day and I can't wait to look back at our wedding pictures for years to come!

ove them!! She is also an amazing person who cares about her friends, family, and community.

she was an incredible support system for us as we woke up on our early September wedding day to a foot and a half of snow. She was extremely personable and made everyone feel completely at ease the entire day. My mom thought we were old friends from college! She responded to all my lengthy emails with lots of patience, details, and extra tips on how to have the perfect day. My partner and I are not very mushy people, so we were a bit worried about how we would handle taking intimate photos and we were so smiley in all the photos and I know it had everything to do with how comfortable Ashley made us feel. The photos came back to us in record time and we were in tears at the first image. I would recommend Ashley over and over and over again! THANK YOU, ASHLEY!

mentioned she was actually taking pictures of us & my fiancee may have been more surprised by that then the actual proposal!! Ashley was super flexible with the planning, was able to provide me with great suggestions and so easy to communicate with. As a couple who prefers candid photos, Ashley captured our genuine love for each other. It never felt staged, we could not have felt more comfortable or relaxed. She was professional, yet easy going from the initial email to the last picture of the day.

rtable in front of the camera and she totally put us at ease, capturing our personalities with her wonderfully creative eye. Ashley is that perfect combo of professional and fun. She'll make you laugh and have your back, all while capturing the moments of your wedding beautifully. We got married during the year of Covid and she was so understanding and supportive of all of our changes, including a postponed and rescheduled wedding. Hire Ashley, you won't regret it!

to help make our day absolutely amazing and I'm sure this review still won't do her justice. When we first reached out to Ashley I knew we were on the right track and didn't even consider another option. We explained to her the situation we were in and she went over and beyond her photographer duties by helping find venue options as we were planning to do an out of state micro-wedding. She helped us navigate vendors and areas of Colorado to consider that we were not as familiar with as we're located in Nebraska. We also had the chance to do some engagement photos with her – she braved what I think may have been the coldest day of the year for us and still agreed to shoot the wedding after it all! :) Ashley was so sweet and comforting as we were faced with COVID-19 challenges and helped make date and location changes so smooth. As our new date approached she continued to offer advice and support. Ashley has an incredibly simple questionnaire that we filled out about a week prior to the wedding that highlighted important people and moments that we wanted her to be aware of – this saved us day of so she wasn’t trying to figure out who was who and she always knew where to be without having to ask. Day of the wedding, Ashley arrived and brought the calm we all needed as family and friends were running around making last minute moves due to weather changes. She truly slipped right in and I didn’t even notice her arrival – she was already shooting special moments with my maid of honor as we were getting ready and I didn’t even realize it. My husband and his friends are so uninterested in having their photos taken, but she made them all so comfortable and put up with their antics along the way. Later in the evening we were faced with a minor hiccup with the venue and Ashley stepped in so professionally to remind us that she was there for us and we were her main focus – allowing us to continue enjoying our evening. Ashley blessed us with one of the most amazing gifts, all of the most amazing moments we would never want to forget captured forever. And in the end we truly feel like we have a new friend, not just an amazingly talented photographer. Oh, and her dance moves and sense of humor - we couldn't have asked for a better experience with Ashley!

has such an eye for what she does and I can not recommend her enough. People said spending a little more on photography was important when it comes to weddings... I would spend 10x what she charges to have her capture the most important day of my life. She is so amazing and I can’t express it enough.

viding direction when needed. She balanced capturing all of the important moments of the day without being in the way or causing distraction. We feel like we have a perfect mix of posed and candid photos. Ashley’s style of photography was perfect for us and we are over the moon with how they turned out, as well as how quickly we received them. My husband and I will definitely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding photographer.

We had an elopement due to Covid and Ashley not only worked with us but was able to make it happen quickly. Everyone should have an amazing photographer like Ashley, on their special day!

ecause her work is absolutely incredible. We had to change our wedding plans multiple times because of COVID-19 and Ashley was positive and there for us, no matter how many changes we had to make. She was also helpful in coming up with ideas and being so supportive to us during that difficult time. So many of our loved ones were unable to attend our small wedding because of the pandemic and all of them feel that they experienced our wedding because of the pictures she took. Not only are her photos amazing but she is so fun, positive, caring and bad ass to work with. You spend so much time with your wedding photographer on this day and you honestly won't find a better human to share this day with. Ashley- we cannot thank you enough.

one of the "lucky" couples who had to change everything due to COVID-19. When we decided to elope now and celebrate later, Ashley was happy to go with the flow with us! She was so flexible and kind while we figured out what we were doing (even while we stalked the weather forecasts). She helped us find a location that is so beautiful that we already plan to go back for a hike another time and, honestly, I can't imagine a better time while we were there. We spent the day laughing and dancing like we were with an old friend and got to have the most fun, carefree day (even while social distancing!). So far we've gotten our sneak peek photos and every single one is our favorite, but more than that, our family and friends who weren't able to join us are raving about how beautiful the photos are and how they can feel the spirit of the day through them. Ashley had us just be ourselves and, by some kind of magic, turned it into gorgeous memories that we can treasure. Throughout all of this weirdness, we are only more sure that we made the right choice with Ashley and ended up feeling the real kind of lucky. We can't wait to have her capture the big celebration next year, too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Ashley!

doesn't feel comfortable in-front of the camera, Ashley was able to bring comfort to every setting for us! Also, not only are you getting an outstanding photographer, but a great dancer. What more could you want our of your photographer!

ighly recommend her and hope to be able to work with her again in the future for other life events!

ces to shoot and knowing the trails to acting goofy and embracing every emotion on the big day, she is so much fun. She even had to give our rented limo a jump while stranded in the mountains (nobody else has cables in their vehicles!). I highly recommend checking out her Instagram page... you will fall in love with her personality and her work. We would gladly travel back to CO just to have her take our photos. :) The turnaround time on getting your photos is really quick... usually a sneak peak within a couple of weeks. Definitely recommend booking with Ashley!

helpful. Her positive and fun attitude will help ease any nerves on your wedding day. PLUS, the photos she takes are AMAZING! The amount of compliments I get on my photos is something that I will be gushing at over the years to come for sure. Also, she has a great eye for spotting areas to take amazing photos. Ashley, you were truly the best vendor and one of our favorite experiences around our wedding.

oved her she made everyone comfortable. She took so many amazing photos it’s hard to even pick favorites ! You will definitely not be disappointed with her work! From our engagement photos to our final delivery of wedding photos she was so helpful!! If you have the chance or know anyone who needs a photographer please do yourself a favor and use Ashley!!!!

azing), and answering any questions I had. When we booked her, we weren't living in Colorado so before the wedding she set up a time for my husband and I to meet her in person and go over what the wedding day would look like for photos. Ashley was flexible with the short time frame we had before our ceremony started and got all of the photos we wanted and then some. She is a creative and talented artist and we absolutely love the photos she took of our special day. She was so friendly and fit right into our wedding party and guests and made everyone feel comfortable. We had a wonderful time getting to know her throughout this process and would most certainly recommend her!

feel super natural and fun. She also wasn't kidding that dancing was included in the package - she was so much fun and felt like part of the fam! Everyone in the wedding party raved about her. In terms of the photos we received - WOW I was honestly blown away. She captured our wedding day perfectly and even surprised me with film photography because I had mentioned my love for it in a previous conversation. I really can't say enough good things about her and her work. Ashley, thank you thank you thank you for giving us such beautiful visual representations of our day that we will cherish forever.

so easy and truly enjoyable. We are so happy with our wedding photos and will cherish them for a lifetime! Thank you for everything Ashley!!!

ready if was like a good friend showing up! She was extremely professional and really knows how to lead a good shoot. She somehow made our awkward moments looks candid and natural. She has a fantastic eye and I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos.

ing the wedding day is SO calming. She is extremely prepared and ready for whatever you throw at her or whatever gets thrown at you. She is a magical unicorn. Don’t think twice. You need her on your team.

to have her as part of our big day!

o do with your services. When we told you we wanted photos by the Flatirons, you problem solved to find out how we could make it work. My whole wedding party fell in love with you from the minute we walked into the venue that morning--they couldn't stop talking about you! Your energy radiates -- you are so spunky and kind . We still recall your initial email response when we inquired about your services--your personality and passion shined right through the computer screen and we knew we had to have you. You continued to be adventurous, bold and daring in your time with us (for example: suggesting to shoot our engagement photos at the Paint Mines) which matched our personalities and relationship perfectly. You are so great at capturing the moments that can tend to be overlooked! To the future bride and groom--if you are looking for a photographer that gives the comfort level feels of a good friend from home, Ashley is it! She was timely in her responses, provided feedback, endless suggestions and her honest opinion when needed and stuck to our day of timeline. We feel like we now have a lifelong friend in Ashley and are so lucky to of had her as our photographer. You won't be disappointed. GO HAWKS!

es, however, all the poses and moves she had us do were so easy and natural. The engagement pictures turned out amazing! And… Her bubbly personality also makes a photo shoot even more fun. Her wedding pictures were beyond expectations. She did a lot of research on Indian weddings to make sure she understood each part of the wedding and captured all the special moments. Our friends and family loved all the pictures in our wedding gallery. You could see all the special moments, the emotions and the colors in each picture she took. We absolutely loved working with Ashley – not only is her work amazing, but she also made the entire process so seamless.

iled, professional and friendly! We were immediately impressed with her work and style of photos. Once we decided we wanted to go forward with her, the process of signing contract as well as making our first payment was all super easy. Ashley also did our engagement shoot which went amazing! We had so much fun and she knew how to make us feel relaxed and "candid!" The pictures were all so beautiful and we are still getting compliments on them!! Lastly, our wedding one month ago was amazing. Ashley was on time, perhaps even earlier since she was already there when I arrived! She was very communicative with me throughout the day and worked on keeping the timeline running as smoothly as possible. All my bridesmaids loved her as well as the groomsmen and our families. She also communicated very well with our videographer! She was super fun and made everything seem easy, from getting up some rocks in the freezing cold in my heels to setting up some amazingly lit photos outside our barn! We've received a few photos since the day which are all so beautiful. We are so excited to see the rest of the photos! To sum it up, Ashley is amazing to work with and is so talented and does beautiful work. We highly recommend her for your wedding!!

earth fun person that will get along and feel like part of the family at any wedding! She captures the most beautiful moments and is so talented at it. She is punctual, very organized and very involved through the whole wedding planning process. I would recommend Ashley to everyone, her joyful personality, her beautiful creativity in photography and her amazing photo products are hard to beat. She is truly one of a kind!

rofessional shoot and we were a little nervous about how to act natural and how to pose for pictures. Ashley made us feel so comfortable, just like she was a friend taking our pictures. From capturing moments of the bridesmaids getting ready to our first look, ceremony and reception, Ashley brought such great energy and fun ideas into the mix. We were so comfortable that we often forgot she was even there! She worked so well with all of our other vendors and has such a professional yet laid back and fun attitude. We SO enjoyed having her around for every moment of our big day! Not to mention that all of our pictures came out AMAZING! She is such a talented photographer. One of my favorite things is how Ashley really cares about you and it shines through. She captured special little moments as well as made sure to ask about what was important to us to have captured. I would highly recommend Ashley for your wedding or any photography needs! She also brings some killer dance moves at the reception!

ding photos. On the day, Ashley took a lot of stress off of us making sure that we captured every little detail. Our families commented on her calm nature and her infectious smile that brought something special on the day. I dont know how she did it but she didnt miss a single minute of everything that went on that day. Ashley is a wonderful photographer and a wonderful person. We are so grateful that we found her and look forward to looking at our photos for years to come.

ly and laid back, and it felt like she fit right in with our wedding party. She listened to and took note of all our preferences to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. She managed to capture every single beautiful moment of our amazing day. We were so moved by her kind words and description of our day, and we were blown away by the pictures when we finally got to see them. We absolutely could not be happier, and we are so grateful to her for the perfect pictures that we will get to look back on for our whole life!! :)

the correct choice for us. Very professional, but also very friendly, upbeat, and humorous. She let her personality shine through right away and we felt she was already a friend without having even met her yet. This wasn’t the main factor as to why we chose her however — we had seen her portfolio of sample photographs and that was enough in itself to prove she deserved to be hired for one of the most important days in our lives. Her work ethic and personality was just the cherry on top!!! Ashley lived up to everything we had hoped for and wanted in our photographer. She captured a million amazing moments, a million different emotions, a million angles. She also delivered those photos to us within 6 weeks, INSANELY fast! We are so, so happy with her end result and we can not recommend her enough to capture your best day ever!!! Thank you always and forever, Ashley!!

also very accommodating for our last minute impromptu trip to Colorado and was able to squeeze in an engagement shoot we originally opted out of. (We had a destination wedding, so we didn't think we could make that happen within the four months we had to plan the wedding from FL). We met over the phone, and immediately connected, and the vibe was even better in person; she's rad, real, and as authentic as you could get. Thank you Ashley for being amazing behind the camera, and showing the world what you do best! I am so lucky to have had you on our wedding day! Cannot wait to shoot our future little ones!

layfulness in our photos. The photos are exactly what we were looking for. Beautifully edited, but not over-edited. She got the most incredible shots - from the emotional 1st look to the rockin' dance party. We were so lucky to have her! Book her now!!

commending her to everyone we know! 😊 ❤️

photographer, you won't have to worry about whether your pictures will be good or not. Secondly, she is literally the coolest chick and makes taking photos in front of a stranger not awkward and in fact really fun! She took both our engagement and wedding photos. We were up in the mountains for the holidays and she was so flexible on time and location for the engagement session. On the day of, she was a breath of fresh air. Since we'd already met, I felt instantly relaxed when she walked in. We've only gotten a little preview of our pictures so far, but so far every single one is incredible. She captured the day beautifully and we can't wait to see the rest of our photos!

dding day, she arrived while I was getting ready so she could get some “prepping” pics and she was so calm and sweet. It was nice to have her calm energy, it kept me calm. She just did her shots and asked me questions if needed, but for the most part let me do what I needed to do to get ready. Once I saw our photos I was so surprised how great those prep shots were bc she didn’t need to command the space. Then we did all our staged wedding party and family pics before ceremony and fun fam pics after the ceremony during our cocktail hour. After looking at them, I am so excited we did a couple extra shots bc they came out so well! She lead us with poses and different ideas for shots which was great bc we had no clue what to do and they all turned out amazing! Everyone that has seen our pictures can’t stop raving about them and her during the wedding and reception, how great she was to our guests and general demeanor and she was taking photos. I 100% recommend Ashley for your wedding and engagement photos! You won’t be disappointed!

iful moments from our wedding day. We feel so lucky she was a part of our day and helped us remember our most cherished memories.

y. The photos were absolutely gorgeous and Ashley had such a non-intrusive way about her, she really felt like a welcome and wonderful addition to our wedding. Our photos are beautiful and I can’t wait to print them all and have such a wonderful tribute to a wonderful day. Thank you Ashley!!

y. I didn't notice her during our ceremony or reception, but she was there the second we needed her. She did a great job making us feel comfortable and eliciting emotions to capture in our portraits, so they looked natural and not posed/staged. She also did an AMAZING boudoir session. She's the best, hire her!

e groom and I and was super flexible with us. She connected so well the wedding party. Her pictures will forever be cherished in our home and both of families homes. She captured every memory made. Thank you so much Ashley. You are absolutely wonderful.
