About this vendor
Are you a dreamer? The kind of person who has envisioned their wedding day since they were a child, surrounded by stunning peonies and garden roses as soft natural light washes down over you, the sounds of nature warming your soul. The land around you as exquisite as you. Maybe you’re standing on a beach on the Amalfi Coast in Italy as the sounds of the ocean brush the shore, or the church bells of the Notre Dame Cathedral ring out to your love in the heart of France, or you’re under a large Spanish Oak in Savannah, Georgia, as you look your special someone in the eyes and say “I do”.
If this is you, then Ashly McCoy might be your perfect fit.
With an outright devotion of service to her clients, Ashly not only captures her couples in her stunning dreamlike yet natural style, but she guides them every step of the way. From the moment of first contact, Ashly becomes interwoven into the wedding process and is often lending a gentle hand to all of her couples to ensure that they have the best wedding day possible.
It’s for these reasons and her mesmerizing work that she was voted Best of Wedding Photographers of Georgia for 2021.
But, her work extends much further than Georgia. Having traveled all over the United States in the decade in which she has been capturing weddings, she grown accustomed to travelling to wherever a client might need her - be it an engagement overlooking the majestic Cliffs of Dover or a luxurious event in Highlands, North Carolina. She is always ready to go the extra mile for her client, whatever their needs might be.
Though, she does still call Savannah her home. Luckily, she brings a little bit of home with her wherever she goes.

Ashly is a world-class, top-tier photographer! Her attention to detail and creativity are out of this world. I feel privileged to have had her as our wedding photographer. My husba...
nd and I usually suck at being photographed. She was an excellent coach and director, and made us feel like models.
Her photos are simply magical and precisely capture the essence of our wedding day! Our photos are classic and timeless, and we owe this to Ashly. I highly recommend Ashly.
My (now) husband and I had 6 months to plan a wedding in Savannah, GA from New Jersey. Ashly was one of the first vendors we booked and she was amazing from the start. Right from o...
ur first chat, we knew we wanted to book her and didn't need to speak to any other photographers. She gave us all sorts of recommendations and guidance to help us with planning our wedding outside of photography. We met her in Savannah for our engagement shoot and she instantly made us feel comfortable and we were in love with the photos she took. Throughout the rest of the process, Ashly helped me along the way when I was struggling to make a decision on certain details. Day of the wedding, she made me feel so calm when we were running late and when we found out the venue didn't have any electricity... She is so passionate about what she does and wants to ensure that all the special moments are captured beautifully. She is honestly so much more than "the photographer" of your wedding day. She is 1000% worth the investment! I am so happy we chose Ashly and can't wait to look at her beautiful pictures for the rest of our lives. Will always be so grateful for having the opportunity to work with her.
This past weekend we finally had our rescheduled wedding from 2020, and we are so grateful to Ashly for helping us through the whole process!! When we had to cancel a month before ...
she was so understanding, and let us have some time before choosing our new date. She was also a huge help by creating a timeline for the entire day from getting ready to our sparkler exit!
I am over the moon with the quality of the pictures she’s given us, they are more beautiful than I could have dreamed! Ashly was so professional and easy to work with, and her assistant Tracy was just as great! We felt totally comfortable with them, and we were thankful they told us what to do with our hands/poses.
I highly recommend Ashly for anyone’s wedding photos!

ere in good hands. It felt like having a best friend photograph us because she is that awesome. Our engagement photos were amazing so we knew our wedding day would be captured exactly how we wanted. We loved Ashly’s style as it’s so soft and romantic. Her film is just as amazing! And her assistant Tracy was just a doll and super great and so helpful the entire day.
Ladies, Nick and I cannot thank you enough for spending our wedding day by our sides capturing all our memories!

photos turn out better than what I was expected. Thank you for capturing my love story so beautifully.
My wife were decided to elope in Savannah recently and had the great pleasure of having Ashley capture the moments from that magical day. I ran a wedding venue for 3 years during ...
which I organized and assisted with over one hundred weddings. I have met many wedding photographers over those years and I can honestly say none were as professional or as good as Ashley. She was an invisible presence during the ceremony while capturing every nuance, worked with us afterwards to ensure we could enjoy having pictures taken in various locations in Forsyth Park and the resulting online album was better than we thought possible. The pictures captured the emotion we both felt on our special day and so many of them have become our best and most favorite shots of us as couple. I can think of no one else better than Ashley to accompany you on your special day, ask for her to share her talent with you and you won't be disappointed.

Ashly even sewed my wedding show when it broke! And that's not even the best part...On our wedding day we had a tropical storm which meant we couldn't have the outdoor ceremony we dreamed of. Ashly offered to meet us the next day to take all of our couple photos where our outdoor ceremony was supposed to be. How amazing and thoughtful is that?! By far the best vendor you will ever hire!
I have nothing but great things to say about Ashly. She photographed our wedding back in August, and I have yet to be anything but impressed. She is the most patient, kind, and eas...

Ashly was our wedding photographer in April. I can honestly say I could not have pick a better photographer. She is the sweetest, most caring person. Everything she did for us was ...
genuinely perfect. She went well above our expectations, she showed up early and prepared for any situation. She treated even the most difficult people with the utmost respect and always remained professional. She has a calming peace that surrounds her and that was very much needed on our day when many things didn't go as planned. I would recommend this company for anyone planning a wedding. I want to add that she created a slideshow at our wedding to share with us from the day. Her work was outstanding and it was a wonderful surprise! I didn't expect that. I am so excited to get our wedding photos back.

ere even more then I would have hoped for to reflect our perfect day. She was easy to talk with throughout the session, and made us feel extremely comfortable being in front of the camera. It's been a week since we got our pictures and I still cannot get over how perfect they are!

time Tracy was behind the camera and she not only put up with 20 (yes, TWENTY) women with professionalism, patience, and kindess, she captured every photo the bride requested with enthusiasm. Now that I'm reviewing the final product (edited by Ashly), the duo perfectly reflected all our personalities and attitudes and pure joy we felt not only throughout the shoot, but during the whole celebration weekend.
I can not recommend Matthew and Ashly Fine Arts & Film more for your wedding, engagement photos, family photos, and more. Their talent is unparalleled and creativity has no bounds. Not only that, they're the most wonderful people.

er she was prompt, well organized and knows her stuff. When I need recommendations on vendors due to planning a wedding out of state she was so helpful. Everything she suggested was perfect for us. I could not have asked for a better photographer. In a sea of photographers we found a gem. I can’t stress enough how important it is to invest in your photographer. If you’re reading this I hope this is the nudge you need, you won’t regret it.

wedding planner, I have full confidence in their ability to seamlessly and flawlessly execute the photography portion of a wedding day timeline, under any circumstances, and in any weather.
Ashly was the photographer for my personal vow renewal ceremony on 2/16/19, and I couldn’t be happier with her work. She made our wedding party and family feel at ease and she made our private portrait session fun and breezy. It was truly a delight to have her participate in our day.
Her photos are light and airy and she captured some beautiful, candid moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Matthew and Ashly are the epitome of professional. Not only do they make you feel comfortable, but they direct you along your way through your photoshoot with them. I’ve had the pl...
easure of working with them twice. I worked with Ashly for FOUR magazine. She knew her vision for the shoot upon arriving at the location. Everything was flawless and the photos turned out great and even made it on the cover of that magazine. Then, I worked with Matthew and Ashly for a family style photo shoot. With much kids running rampant, it didn’t phase them. They captured precious moments of my family even in the midst of a toddler melt down. I could not stress choosing them as your photographer/videographer enough.
We had the opportunity to work with Ashly on our wedding day as part of a destination wedding package and we couldn’t be more thankful! Ashly made suggestions for different parts o...
f Savannah to take pictures since we were not familiar, and we are so happy with every one! Our photos turned out to be something out of a magazine - STUNNING. Ashly was so sweet and you can tell she has the interests of her clients as her main priority. d has a great eye. Ashly's price range is very reasonable in comparison to other photographers in Savannah. She was very flexible with my husband and I. We wanted to include our dogs in our engagement photos & a couple days before our scheduled photo shoot, one of our dogs broke his jaw & ended up having to get surgery :( Ashly was willing to meet with us again after our pup was all healed up, to get those photos that we wanted and they turned out amazing! I would absolutely recommend Ashly to anyone, without hesitation. I can't wait to see the rest of our wedding photos, because I know they're going to be flawless! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

op priority knowing it was the only thing I would be taking from my wedding day. They are the sweetest people I have ever met with incredible attention to detail. They made my day so relaxed even when we were running a little behind on schedule do to things beyond our control they made up the time and I never noticed always reassuring me that everything was going perfectly. They were available to answer all my questions prior to the day and even helped me find other incredible vendors to work with which was so comforting considering we don't live in the Savannah area. On the day they showed up earlier than we asked and stayed until we left. I am truly so happy that I went with them it was one of the best days of my life! Thank you Matthew and Ashly!

y attitude and such a creative mind! We walked away so happy from doing our pictures with her and when we received our photos a couple weeks later we were even happier. Her work is just amazing, as someone who doesn’t really like seeing pictures of myself, I am over the moon with how our wedding pictures turned out. We hope to visit Savannah again in the future and do anniversary pictures with her as well. 10/10, 2 thumbs up, excellent experience and excellent product.
