Ashlye McCormick Design

I hired Ashlye Mccormick to provide flowers for both my wedding and rehearsal dinner. We met several times and exchanged emails/texts going over the designs. She sent me a detailed invoice including images and descriptions of flowers and arrangements to be used. On the night of my rehearsal dinner, she left a box of flower arrangements to be used as hair pieces for my wedding the following day. The flowers were the wrong colors. My wedding colors were light shades of lilac, lavendar, white, and purple. The flowers she sent were very bright shades of pink, almost fuchsia. I immediately contacted her and she stated that the lighter colors have a tendency to turn brown faster and she took a chance and sent me the pinker flowers instead. She assured me that she would not use these colors in my wedding. However, the majority of the flowers she used in my wedding decor were the pink/fuchsia colors with very minimal amounts of my actual wedding colors and very little white. Also, all of the bouquets were to have long ribbons that matched the dresses, only the toss bouquet had ribbons. There were specific flowers to be used for boutonnieres, they were not used. All of these items were clearly listed in the invoice she provided prior to the wedding. I have tried for 2 months now to resolve the issue with Mrs. Mccormick including sending several emails and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I received an email after the initial complaint stating that she ordered the flowers I requested and they arrived in very pink shades instead of the light lilac and lavender shades but that was just "mother nature". I continued to send emails and weeks later finally received an email stating she would address my issues at the end of her work week. It has been 2 months...I was very excited to use her as I had seen several events that she worked. She was extremely helpful before hand and the images she provided during consultations and on my invoice were exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding. However, flowers used for my wedding decor were completely wrong and did not match any of the other decor or dresses used in my wedding. I was extremely disappointed in the product used and her lack of response afterwards.

My flowers were GORGEOUS! I met with Ashlye a couple of times prior to wedding and she completely understood my vision. She also worked with me since I was on a budget. We talked about what I wanted and substitues that were very similar in order to meet my budget. She was responsive to emails and phone calls and did an amazing job!
