I have to give all the credit to Ivy! She was our day of coordinator and she handled our day with grace and kindness. For me, as a bride I had an expectation of chaos, at least a l...
ittle. Obviously I woke up with all the anxieties of wanting the day to go well. From the time I saw her, Ivy took on so many responsibilities for that day. I felt so relaxed. There was about an hour where I sat and didn’t know what to do because Ivy did everything. She coordinated with the florist, photographer, videographer, caterers, everyone. I think the only time someone was asking me questions was the photographer asking what I wanted and videographer asking questions. The whole experience was great!
My only critique would be the planning process felt a bit like a checklist. This was my first time planning a wedding so I had questions and the original planner was a bit more lax than I’d like. She did excellent but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like a number or just another wedding. Some of the details of the bundle were also unclear which became frustrating later. There are some areas where more accommodation for the bride and groom would be nice. We ended up with more kids than expected and not as many adults. The servers refused to serve the kids adult plates despite a previous request I had to go to the servers and ask. I didn’t care for that hiccup. But knowing what I know now. I’d still do it again and I’d request Ivy as my coordinator the whole way through! That woman can arrange a wedding down to waiting for us to sit to serve our food so it was hot with drinks waiting! She is a gem.

any question we had and communicating with us clearly throughout each step. Every other member of the Walters Wedding Estates team (our photographer Angela, DJ Paul Gonzales, the floral team, the stationary team, the bakery team and the food vendors and all staff who helped on the day of) who helped with our wedding day were also fantastic. The venue was perfect and all of our family and friends only said amazing things about how beautiful everything was. Each team really made sure to help us find ways to get what we wanted and stay within our budget! Book your wedding at Ashton Gardens West if you want the best wedding ever!!

I just want to give a heads up to future brides. Although this venue is beautiful, I highly suggest to be on top of all your planning as much as you can! Management seems organized...
but they are not. So many things had gone wrong, we had asked questions because we heard the food was cold in the past, Wes ere told that could happen if things aren’t on schedule. Well mine ran to schedule and it was still a mess. I paid for water bottles and it was forgotten to be taken out and I had to remind them so it was out late and so much more. I had expressed all my concerns and they told me they would take this as a learning opportunity. I know things go wrong it’s natural but the things that did go wrong didn’t make sense because we had gone over everything so many times. The venue comes with a coordinator but I highly suggest getting your own to have your back mine was a life savor I would have been so stressed if I only had what the venue provided. Again beautiful venue just wished things were handled better.

The reception hall which is just a few steps away is equally beautiful, not needing really anything at all to enhance the look. My wedding planner is Sheila and she has been fabulous along the way. With the being my FIRST and ONLY marriage, I have so many questions and believe me I had emailed Sheila probably more than I text my fiance, but she is super sweet and has answered every question I had without any hesitation. The service is amazing and I really could have not prayed for a better venue; mind you I looked at 30 locations across the Texas area.

is absolutely gorgeous and has great spots for photos. The all inclusive nature was really helpful and took a lot of decisions off our plate. Thankfully all the vendors were so wonderful and responsive, our wedding looked just as we envisioned it. All of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was and how great the food was. Our photographer and videographer were on point, they captured some great moments and were very kind. The DJ Roy Chinn also did an amazing job, there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. Last but not least, our planner Sheilah did a great job with keeping us on track with everything and helping our big day run smoothly. Thanks again, it was definitely a great experience!

not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! When I tell people I barely did anything to plan this wedding.. I mean it. In a good way because it was such a stress free planing process for us! ty frugal so we splurged on some things and went cheap for others. We didn’t have the best experience in the beginning with Andrea to be honest. She was pretty hands off. Never scheduled follow up meetings and would take days to respond to my questions. I was regretting my choice until we were switched to a different planner named Sheilah. We didn’t request for a switch so it was even a surprise to us hearing about her promotion in the company. Now Sheilah was AMAZING. She would schedule follow up meetings. She would answer allllll my questions expeditiously. She was kind and warm and friendly. She and her team (Ana and Sydney) saved the venue for us. I can’t even thank her enough. If you are using this venue you really need someone like her to advocate for you. The photographer Kristin was also amazing! My goodness. I had my doubts again but upon meeting her and working with her I would give her a 10/10. Very thorough and organized. She even helped my awkward posing lol. You can’t go wrong with the cake either. My bridesmaids loved the cake so much she packed some in a bag for her to eat late lolll. I’m so grateful to have chosen this venue. f soo much stress trying to find everything individually. The centerpieces we got from the florest were bigger and much more beautiful than I thought they were going to be! My beautiful bouquet though however sadly was falling apart very easily so I had to be very gentle but flowers would still fall out.
Everyone involved from the coordinators (Madison, Brooke, Gianna) to DJ Omar, Courtnie from Design Haus and the desserts did great! The coordinators handled everything on the day. For the ceremony I wanted only one song for everyone to walk down and for the doors to open at a specific part of the song for me and they made it happen! Even when one of my guest broke her shoe the employees rushed to try and help her.
At the end of the night we did forget a few things in the suites because we were so tired and I was able to get in touch with one of the coordinators and was able to retrieve my items the next week so I am not sure about the comments from people who say they dont respond. This place is absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy we got to have our wedding here to start our marriage and share the beautiful memories with our families. I got so many compliments on the venue from all our guest and I am so excited to see the photos!
The main suggestion I would say for the venue is to be able to have earlier access to the venue before 12. The more time to get ready and relax the less stress I think I wouldve felt the day of.

She was with us every step of the way, ensuring that our vision for the day was realized to perfection. Even as my questions increased towards the end of the planning process, Madison responded swiftly and efficiently, providing reassurance and guidance.
One of the reasons we chose Ashton Gardens West was for its stunning chapel, which fulfilled our desire for a church-like venue. Additionally, having everything onsite meant that our guests didn't have to commute between the ceremony and the reception, making the day even more seamless.
The wedding packages offered by Ashton Gardens West are truly amazing, and they continually add new and exciting items. From selecting the invitations to choosing the drinks, every aspect of planning our wedding was made easy and enjoyable. We were impressed by the quality and affordability of their offerings, and we couldn't imagine a better venue for our special day.
The tastings available at all their locations were not only an opportunity for my husband and me to sample the delicious food but also a chance to explore other potential additions to our wedding, such as a live painter. These tastings became fun nights out amidst the chaos of wedding planning.
In the end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks in large part to the team at Ashton Gardens West. s. Having mimosas and beer the morning of was such a treat and the bridal/groom suits are perfect for getting ready. Our day of coordinators Anna and Jenine were ROCKSTARS! I gave them a listed timeline of events that I had created for the day and they took it from there. The entire wedding day ran smoothly because of them. The reason I'm not giving the venue 5 stars is because of the lack of communication between the vendors and event coordinator. Our event coordinator did not communicate with the DJ, who is a contracted vendor for the venue, that we were foregoing having a DJ and instead bringing in a band who was not contracted. This resulted in a confusing phone call from the DJ who did not realize that he was not working the reception and a panicked phone call from the event coordinator the day before the wedding because we had supposedly "forgotten to upload songs to the DJ to use at the wedding" despite us telling her multiple times that we were bringing in a band. Amongst other things the event coordinator had forgotten, she did not prepare us before our three zoom calls leading up to the wedding with what we needed to have ready. I was frequently left with a list of questions after our calls. Would I change that we got married at Ashton Gardens West? Absolutely not! At the end of the day, I loved my wedding and the memories I made there were priceless.

cold , also we emailed her to tell her details of what we wanted and she didn’t follow through, the DJ also play the songs that he wanted ( even though we took hours to email him what songs we wanted) when the wedding was over nobody there help ( . They were actually kicking people out, saying they have another Wedding coming tomorrow that we needed to get out, zero professional. And they broke 4 candles , because they were in a hurry to kick us out ! I would not recommend this place at all , my daughter got married the year before in a different place and we really saw the difference

ce. Madison was great and very accommodating during the whole planning process. Brooke was our day-of coordinator and was very pleasant to work with as well. I'm giving 3 stars because the quality of the food was lacking-- I had many family members tell me that the salmon and steak were both overcooked and very tough and they could not eat it. The venue only does open-houses at certain times of the year and only serve some of the menu as part of taste test, and so we weren't able to try the food we selected for our wedding. The DJ (hired as part of package) also played songs that were on our no-play list. There were also a lot of different people involved in different parts of the process. The person who we first met to discuss the venue and packages was different from the initial venue rep and then we were assigned a different person to help with the planning and then we had a different day-of coordinator who was assigned to us about a month prior to the wedding. Everyone was pleasant to work with and there weren't any big issues that arose but there was no consistency and we were caught off-guard by the constant switching of hands. Ultimately, the wedding went well, and my only feedback is that I wish the food quality was better for how much the package cost as that contributes to guest experience the most.
