hopes it helps future couples researching venues. First, our wedding planner and coordinator, Becca, was incredible. She is extremely organized, a great communicator, and such a kind person. Our day would not have been the same without her. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, checked in on us throughout the day, and truly made us feel supported and cared for. Venue: The beauty of Ashton Gardens is truly unmatched. The chapel is breathtaking, and I will never forget the moment the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. The bridal suite was exactly what I hoped for and comfortably fit me, my seven bridesmaids, both moms, and our hair and makeup artists without feeling crowded. The groom’s suite is smaller, so the groom and his groomsmen chose to get ready off-site, which worked fine for them. One thing we loved is that the reception space is just a short walk from the chapel, making the transition to cocktail hour and the reception very easy for guests. The reception hall is spacious and offers a lot of flexibility for floor plans. We had 142 guests, plus a rented dance floor and dueling piano players, and the space felt perfect. One thing we wish we had known before booking is that the “included” rehearsal hour is only offered Monday–Thursday. Rehearsals outside those days require an additional fee. Food & Drinks: We chose the exceptional catering and bar package through Walter’s. Unfortunately, the food ended up being our least favorite part of the wedding, which is the only reason we are giving a four-star review instead of five. Several guests mentioned their meals were cold or dry, and we later learned the last table served received noticeably smaller portions, which was disappointing given that our final guest count was submitted well in advance. However, the team did a great job accommodating guests with dietary restrictions. We were disappointed that there was no opportunity to have an actual tasting to choose our menu, so we chose a chicken and steak duet as a safe choice. We did attend a Walter’s showcase, but they only had pork, fish, or chicken to try that night. Since we had fewer than 150 guests, we paid to have both bars open, which we highly recommend to avoid long lines. Guests had great things to say about the bartending services, and the signature drinks were fantastic. Vendor Package: The vendor package was a huge benefit. Not having to worry about rentals like linens, plates, glassware, and tables saved us a lot of time and stress. The vendors we worked with through the package were professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with, and I will be leaving separate reviews for them as well on their respective pages.

entire day. A huge “shout out” to Becca, who went above and beyond with her calm presence and incredible attentiveness. And DJ Toco … she kept the celebration going all night… professional, fun, and full of energy. The only small piece of feedback was the vegan entrée that was made for a few select guests, but they made it right and we honestly can’t complain. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we’re so grateful for such a memorable day.

Becca. She made it her top priority to make the day be as seamless, calm, and organized. She anticipated our needs by making sure we were hydrated, fed, she made sure I always had fresh lip gloss on and perfectly combed hair. She kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed and handled everything with confidence and warmth! Our families cannot stop talking about how beautiful this venue was, how great the food tasted, the amazing DJ Jamal who made the night extra special, the best photographer, our bartenders who went above and beyond and especially Becca for making the day perfect! If you aren't already considering Ashton Gardens as your top choice, move it to the top! The venue is breathtaking and having someone like Becca in your corner truly made the experience!

and made everything feel like a breeze. Becca, our coordinator, was AMAZING and kept us so on top of things on the day of while also being so mindful of how things may have needed to be more flexible. She was so caring and made the day so much more perfect than it already was! HIGHLY recommend!

never materialized. “Vision meeting” never happened. Our wedding planner never called us one time to plan or discuss this meeting. WE had to call several times just to get them to answer the phone. By that point, we had already decided to move our business elsewhere. Despite paying a $5,000 deposit, we received no services at all—no meetings, no event coordination, nothing. Due to their lack of follow-through, we decided to cancel the contract. Now they are trying to charge us even more money for services that were never rendered. We believe this is a clear breach of contract, and we’re requesting a full refund of our deposit. Rather than refund our money, they sent a lawyer after us trying to charge the full amount we would have paid had we held the wedding with them. Planning a wedding is stressful enough—working with a venue that fails to deliver on basic communication and service commitments only makes it worse. I do not recommend booking with them unless you’re prepared to chase them down and risk losing your deposit.

eam kept us on track leading up to the wedding, asked important questions to ensure a smooth day-of, and ultimately were an amazing support system and team for wedding day. I couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful venue and wonderful team to work with.

over a year and a half to plan and proactively confirm every single detail of the day. She asked the right questions at the right time to ensure we kept moving steadily towards our date, and was patient and accommodative of all of our questions and requests. Above that she was an absolute gem to work with - always kind, always cool/calm/collected. Our day of crew was incredible as well. Our DJ, Cody, understood our vision for the dance floor from our first conversation and went above and beyond to make sure every music moment of the day went perfectly (and there were several moments where music timing was critical), even going so far as to make smart music cuts that ensured we got the full impact of every song. Becca, Hallie’s day-of associate, made sure there was never a moment where we didn’t have a drink in our hand or food on our plates. The food, by the way, was divine, as were our bartenders/servers and security guard. As for the facility itself - the grounds were gorgeously kept, the chapel and reception spaces really are as gorgeous as pictures imply, and the bridal suite had everything we needed (including multiple bathrooms and large windows). I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous, one-stop-shop location for their big day.

ng for. The reception room was very spacious, while the chapel room gave the same feel as what a real church would feel like. B/c of all the windows, it was bright & gave a lot of natural lighting. I highly recommend Susanna & Hallie as your event coordinator. They were amazing w/ helping out w/ anything that you needed; responding to all your questions & concerns, & making sure you are happy & doing okay. They will make your day less stressful than it needs to be, you can count on them to be there for you! Everything was quite organized, they make sure that everything is moving along accordingly so that you don't fall behind, & everything that you want will happen the way you want it to. The food was just ok, you really pay for the beauty & convenience of the venue. Since it was a package deal, you don't have to go through the trouble of finding your own catering, bakery...etc, so you can't expect everything to be perfect. Our DJ Aiden was great, we love him as a person and everything! However, a lot of songs that we requested didn't get played, or it was a different version/remix of the song, & a lot of the songs we didn't know/requested got played. My husband sang a song to me after doing toasts, the song was suppose to be cut off & faded out towards the end, but he ended up singing the whole thing b/c it didn't end on time; it messed him up a little bit. Most importantly, our first dance was suppose to be the 3 min. version that we sent him, instead the full song got played, & it really threw us off. We thought we had forgotten the steps & messed up, so we requested to do it again for our last dance. However the full version got played again, & that's when we realized it. Therefore we just improvised & went with it, until it got to the part where we recognized the steps again. It was quite embarrassing & disappointing, since I put a lot of time & efforts into the playlist. We practiced so hard for our first dance for months, but didn't get to show it to our loved ones. Overall, we decided not to make it a big deal, & what's most important is that everyone enjoyed the music! Lyon Paperie did amazing w/ our stationaries! Miranda was especially helpful, I wish everyone could respond as quickly as her. She is patient & will accommodate to all your requests, & answer all your questions, day or night! Design Haus did good w/ florals. I love the faux florals that was used for the center piece, but personally I feel that the real florals were not vibrant & fresh as I hoped, especially the ones on the cake, but I don't blame them since we had our wedding at the end of November. They were good enough, we do think that they are quite pricey. Even w/ the credits given, w/ everything we wanted, it went way over. We had to greatly reduce it by taking out some things, & diy-ing a few things ourselves. Jenny Lane Bakery did an amazing job w/ the cake & desserts! We chose the lemon berry as our wedding cake, & it has become my favorite cake of all time! We also chose 5 desserts, which were all really great as well! We love our photographer Demi! She had to leave early due to an emergency, so Courtney took her place, & she is good as well. I have to say that it takes a long time to get all the photos, but understandable since they have other weddings, & there's a lot of photos that needs to be processed, fixed/edited. Overall, the experience was good, everything went smoothly, everyone enjoyed their time, & we are happy to have been married at such a beautiful venue, w/ great people who worked w/ us to make everything perfect. Thank you AG Team for all your time & efforts into making our day special & memorable!

menal experience with the team. Hallie Hornbuckle oversaw all of the planning and logistics for our big day and helped bring our vision to life. She was an incredible resource as we planned our big day and made us feel pampered through the entire process. Hallie also went to bat for us to ensure that a small issue with the venue was taken care of before our reception. We had a missing ceiling tile (which is not ideal, but also not the end of the world) and Hallie ensured that maintenance fixed it prior to the reception so that our guests would not see the exposed ceiling. She is a ROCKSTAR!! Susanna Danheim joined us for the wedding weekend as the event coordinator and truly made sure that I felt like a princess on my big day. She was so incredibly prepared and ensured that my bridesmaids and I had everything that we needed at all times. Not even joking- at one point I must have looked thirsty because Susanna and Becca (who was training) were at my side instantly with water and lip gloss. Susanna anticipated my every need and was such a breath of fresh air as I was able to focus on being present with my bridal party, and trust that she was handling everything needed for the big day. Becca, whose last name I don't know, also deserves all of her flowers! Despite being in training and newer to the role, she has incredible customer service. At any point that I needed something or had a small question, Becca was at the ready to find answers for me. Becca also was always checking in to make sure I was hydrated, fed, and comfortable. I also HAVE to shoutout DJ Jared and our photographer Christi for bringing such an amazing vibe to our big day. Christi was such a source of encouragement all and complimented myself and the bridesmaids non-stop. She made us all feel so beautiful in front of the camera! DJ Jared ensured that everyone was out on the dance floor by playing bop after bop. He was so much fun and we truly didn't leave the dance floor all night. I have heard horror stories of venues dropping balls, having insane hidden costs, or simply being unkind to the couples saying "I do" and truly had every fear put to rest with Walters Wedding Estates. They made this experience SO easy and it was well worth the money. The Ashton Garden team truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a luxury experience. I will forever be grateful for this team!!

as planning a wedding has been a lot to deal with. This venue pretty much does everything with all-inclusive packages that include photography, DJ, open bar, cake, catering, ceremony, and floral. Things did end up costing a little more than the package we got since I wanted a few extra things, but this place is great if you hate planning and are on a budget. The only thing you have to do is tell them what you want and get your own stylist. The venue is gorgeous as well!

Everyone was so prompt with answering questions and communication was outstanding. Also, the venue was of course so beautiful, the chapel was perfect for our ceremony and having the reception hall right next door was so easy! He was able to read the crowd perfectly during the reception and helped to make it the perfect night. The food was delicious! And the staff was very efficient on serving us and everyone quickly. We could not have picked a more perfect venue for the most important day of our lives!

l and truly KIND! Everyone kept telling me I would stress planning a wedding but Hallie kept that from happening! She worked with our timeline and listened to our ideas, and explained things to us! Shes a STAR!! She answered emails and texts in a timely manner and even helped us with some last minute changes we decided to make. Hallie and the entire staff at Walters Weddings are professional and polite and WONDERFUL to work with. There are not enough words to express how amazing Hallie is! She’s GOLD!

The staff at Ashton Gardens were amazing and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We choose the Elite Venue inclusive package with Walters and used their in-house vendors. This made the planning process go smoothly and seamlessly. The florals by The Design Haus in collaboration with Joche W Events were beyond stunning. They were gorgeous and even more than we could ever imagine. Cohost entertainment provided the uplighting, photo booth, exit vehicle and DJ. Shout out to DJ Jared! He brought the party to us and kept people on the dance floor all night long! Emily Chappell productions was the photography and video team for the wedding. Another shout out to Alexis the lead photographer. She was fun and very professional. She put everyone at ease, and she went above and beyond in the photo shoots. Her bridal portraits were amazing, and we can't wait for the wedding photos. The cakes by Jenny Layne Bakery were delicious. The guest thought so too as they were all gone by the end of the evening. We are so glad we choose Walters and Ashton Gardens for the wedding. You will be blown away when you see the Venue in person! What a magical day!

vendor for suits was being swapped with Generation Tux and the process was a little painful to move over to them. In addition to this, they completely botched one of the groomsmen's outfit plans because they didn't have a size that fit him, despite being told far in advance his measurements. Some shoes came in scuffed, some buttons were missing, etc. but we made do with it given the constraints and had a great time. Our planner, Madison, was fantastic and I can't imagine a better person for the job. She deserves all the praise for making our night as memorable as it could be. Outside of the suits, all of the other vendors were great. This is a beautiful location and we are excited for our next chapter together.

Throughout the entire planning process we never had a question unanswered and everything was easily guided along the way with our coordinator. We loved all the vendors that were connected to Walters. It was so nice to have specific vendors included in our package, and saved us so much stress and time not having to search and hunt for every single vendor. Our big day went seamlessly with Susanna and Hallie by our side. They were so present and always checking in/available. They cared for us in such a personal way and even checked in consistently on our parents. Susanna literally sewed my dress in the middle of the dance floor when my bustle ripped and Hallie did the same later for me. They were a dream team! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and our bridal party all commented on how great and smooth the whole day was. We LOVED our experience with Walters and highly recommend their team.

As a wedding planner, I don't typically do reviews on the venues, but because of their commitment, and devotion to the over all success of the event, I just had to write this review. It was so great knowing, I had them in my corner taking care of the catering logistics, food & beverage service, and management of the catering staff. Tabitha, and her team were professional, friendly, experienced, and really cared about the overall success of the event. It was truly a pleasure to work with professionals who has the same commitment to taking care of our client, and their guests.
