We absolutely loved having Sam as our day of coordinator for our wedding! Before our wedding, Sam made sure to reach out and meet to go over all our details. In each meeting and ...
email, she answered all our questions thoroughly and helped us solve problem that took the stress off. On the day of our wedding, Sam worked seamlessly behind the scenes to help make our day perfect. Our wedding day ran so smoothly because of her calm demeanor and expertise. We would HIGHLY recommend working with Sam as your day of coordinator at Ashton Hill - Galena!
Thank you for everything, Sam!

ole process of planning our big day. I will recommend Ashton Hill every chance I get!
Ashton Hill Galena exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day so memorable. Our guests were in awe of the stunning building and scenery, and continue to tell us that it was...
one of the nicest venues they have been to.
Alyssa was the most incredible day-of-coordinator, and ensured our day went smoothly. From helping us create our timeline and spending the day decorating with my mom and I, to making our wedding day stress- free and seamless, she truly made our experience with Ashton Hill so wonderful.
I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Ashton Hill and Alyssa, for the best day of our lives!

is unmatched. They were incredibly easy to work with and our Venue Manager, Mackenzie Buck, went above and beyond in every way. I couldn’t recommend AHF enough to anyone looking!
I am not even sure where to begin with this review but I will share first that Ashton Hill could not have been a more perfect choice for our wedding venue; we are so elated about h...
ow perfect our entire day was and we owe so much of that to Ashton Hill! From day one, their entire staff has been highly professional, communicative, passionate, highly knowledgeable, and a true joy to work with. Being very type A and of course wanting the most stress free wedding planning journey as possible, it was crucial for me to find a venue that offered planning support through the process and on the day of. They beyond exceeded my expectations and we had the pleasure of working with the owner Megan whose passion, skill, and expertise shined during every interaction. Their planning process made it so easy to not miss any detail and on the day of they alleviated any potential stress as their team was running the show! It was rare for me to ever hear previously a bride say she had a fun and stress-free wedding day but I am here to share that it can happen and it was all thanks to Megan and the incredible Ashton Hill staff!!! Aside from the astounding customer service to us, we also heard from our vendors how much they enjoyed working with Megan! The venue itself is beyond beautiful and was very clean with not a thing out of place. Every single detail we discussed was flawlessly executed. We appreciated that you could select your own vendors (like catering) to bring in to the venue but they did have a list of vendors that frequent the venue that you could choose to make it easy. We look back on our wedding day as one of the best days of our life- we had so much fun and didn’t have a worry in the world as we knew everything was in the best hands possible! Megan is so thoughtful, continued to go above and beyond for us, and we feel so lucky she was able to spearhead executing our big day! I could go on even more about how exceptional our entire experience was but all in all, I promise you will not regret selecting Ashton Hill for your event!!!

at one location- no need for photographers and guests to travel from place to place. Everyone at AHF was easy to communicate with and professional. I would highly recommend this venue to any future couple. *BONUS* we could have our dogs on the property for our special day!

We are so happy we choose Ashton Hill Farm for our wedding venue. The space and view are straight out of a magazine. It's absolutely beautiful. Not only is the outdoor view amazing...
, but you get the same view from inside the venue. The bridal suite is huge with plenty of room for a bridal party to get ready comfortably. The facility is kept very clean and has a modern farmhouse feel to it with a beautiful patio and outdoor seating for an outdoor ceremony. We worked closely with Sadie and Emily and both were very responsive and helpful. They answered any questions we had, connected us with highly qualified vendors, and made sure our big day ran smoothly. We have nothing but positive things to say and would highly recommend this venue!
This venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is amazing. We worked closely with Emily R. & Sadie. They were our coordinators and they were sooo helpful with anything and everything...
. They were also so sweet and super responsive. They handled my indecisiveness and back and forth with different decisions with ease. I cannot recommend them enough. We got married October 14th and received so many compliments about the venue. It truly is stunning and they handle everything. Can’t recommend enough.
I will say if booking here, be aware of the 2 night minimum stay for room blocks most Galena hotels require. That was our one major hurdle. (We ended up booking a room block through a second hotel in Dubuque, IA that allowed one night stays)
Cannot say enough good things about Ashton Hill Galena. We live in the Chicago Suburbs and planned everything from afar and they were AMAZING. Every single person we interacted wit...
h from their vendor connections to the waitstaff and bartenders were incredibly kind and made our experience that much better. Our coordinator Ashley went above and beyond in every single way to make our day special, including running personal errands for us. Our guests even noticed her kindness and couldn’t stop talking about her. We are forever grateful and would recommend the venue time and time again. Thank you Ashton Hill!!!

unication and worked with me to ensure the entire day went smoothly. The venue itself is stunning and our guests are still raving about the sunset that seemed to last for hours. Our guests had an amazing time at the beautiful outdoor ceremony and received 11/10 bar and catering services. Our guests also loved the downtown galena area and many made plans to return with their family. Our day of coordinator, Sadie, was amazing in every way and went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up properly, recommended excellent local vendors, had a great eye for design and kept all vendors on track the day of so I could just enjoy the day! I would absolutely recommend Ashton Hill.

ption. The space allowed us an indoor/outdoor reception with multiple things for our guests to do while celebrating. how beautiful the venue was. Our coordinator, Sadie, was extremely helpful and eased all stress on our wedding day and prior! She was very responsive and understanding with all of our questions leading up to the big day. I would highly recommend not only this incredible venue, but also the day-of-coordinator (Sadie)!
Gorgeous venue and amazing staff. I may be biased, but it was the most beautiful wedding venue I've been to. We received endless compliments from guests about the staff, the buildi...
ng, and the scenic views, even comparing the rolling hills to Tuscany. We originally wanted a venue that was a mini destination from Chicago with a scenic ceremony space. What sold us was the professionalism and the knowledge of the staff when we visited for a tour. They assisted us through the entire process by recommending vendors, hosting wine tastings, and answering many questions (I highly recommend a day-of-coordinator!). Could not recommend Ashton Hill Farm in Galena more!
Ashton Hill Farm is an absolutely beautiful venue. As a business they are super organized and professional. Our wedding process felt so smooth and we were grateful for that!

process! The building was always upheld to the best standard and they were especially willing to work with any type of vendor we wanted! Our day of coordinator, Sadie was the best person we could ask for and I could talk forever about all of the things she did for us to make our day perfect. We TRULY had the most stress free day due to the wonderful staff at Ashton Hill and Sadie. I would recommend Ashton Hill Farm to anyone who will listen!!

ng went perfectly on our wedding day. Sadie was extremely helpful in all aspects of planning through monthly meetings, keeping in contact with our vendors, and most importantly- being available via email for any issue/concern we had. The service from the bartending staff, the venue, and Sadie were everything we could ask for on our wedding day. I cant say enough about Ashton Hill. It is everything you could ask for when looking for a wedding venue.

wledgeable and beyond helpful. We got married in the gorgeous hills of Galena and had our reception at the same location. It was great that our guests didn’t have to go far at all. The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. The bartenders made amazing drinks and people rarely had to wait. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Galena area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it! 💗

on we fell in love with Ashton Hill to begin with.... It drizzled a bit near the end but it was completely worth it. And we were thankful our day of coordinator and DJ were willing to let us try! The staff, venue and everything in between was beyond beautiful and gracious! It took us a few times back and forth to fully understand the bar packages and what worked best for us, but it was all easy! We could not have asked for a better or more memorable wedding, and we cannot thank Ashton Hill Farm enough! They have plenty of events to come in and see the venue, meet vendors and experience the venue prior to your big day!
Our coordinator, MJ, went above and beyond for us, making our day as easy and stress free as possible and carried out our vision as perfectly as we could have hoped! Highly recommend!

the right times, and made my vision come to life. The staff on the wedding day (bartenders & etc) were great! They were so friendly to our guests and went above and beyond with their duties. Definitely worth every penny!
The property and venue is absolutely beautiful. The family that owns the venue is wonderful and the bar staff was great. The only problems we had for our wedding was the venue’s ev...
ent manager assigned to us. It was small things but based on the price and reputation, I was expecting exceptional service. The problems we ran into was the floor plan wasn’t as we discussed, the signature drinks were wrong even though recipes were communicated, some of the tables were dirty, etc. The venue’s event manager was very kind but was just generally naive and nonchalant. Like I said, the venue was a beautiful space but I wish I would’ve stuck up for myself a bit more to get a better person representing the venue assigned to my wedding.
