Leading up to both engagement shoot and wedding day, Ashton helped us plan every detail and make sure we were fully prepared. I'm a hyper organized person and I love to make lists. Ashton provided me with detailed lists of what to bring and what I needed. Her organization seriously took the weight off my shoulders and reduced my anxiety. Overall I'm just so glad we were able to spend our wedding day with Ashton! Let's be honest, you're going to spend a LOT of time with your wedding photographer and we absolutely loved spending our big day with Ashton. Shooting with her felt more like hanging out with your friend and not your photographer. We had so much fun and laughed so much! Her personality is infectious and you can't help but have the best time with her. Hiring Ashton was literally the best and easiest decision I made while planning my wedding.

While my husband and I were nervous and usually unphotogenic, Ashton made the session comfortable and fun. Ashton navigated all the craziness that comes with weddings gracefully and supportively. When outside factors messed with our schedule, she quickly reworked it to accommodate everything. When I started to stress over timing and people trying to add family portraits, Ashton helped calm me down. She handled my drunk-self asking for pictures of the groom and I taking shots (not my finest moment) and handled family members with patience. Ashton guided us through photos and big moments like the first look and cake cutting so we always knew what to do and what was going to happen next. Then, when my bustle kept coming undone, Ashton jumped in to fix it. My wedding day went smoothly because of Ashton. Finally, Ashton is just fun to be around. She brought blue smoke bombs for the coolest bridal party shot ever! Also, one of my favorite wedding memories is jamming out to Taylor Swift with my brother and Ashton towards the end of the night. Overall, if you’re spending 8 emotional, stressful, crazy hours with someone, you really want them to be fun. Picking Ashton to be our photographer was the best decision. She is organized, flexible, creative, knowledge, sweet, hilarious, supportive, and fun. She clearly loves her job and is amazing at it. Ashton is worth every penny.

id she know that I meant 2 cats and a dog. When I pulled out all three animals on their leashes, she lit up with excitement. Which says a lot because I think most people would have been mortified by the challenge of having to literally wrangle cats while trying to get two very awkward non photogenic people to look decent. I called her and was like “I literally have no idea how to plan pictures getting ready/a first look/ really anything” and she was so helpful. Ashton came to the hotel and made everyone feel so comfortable. She got right to work and the “getting ready” photos are stunning. At the venue, she had everything set up for our first look and helped orchestrate such a special moment for my husband and I. We would 100% recommend Ashton for anyone who needs a wedding photographer! She is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable. Needless to say, the pictures are gorgeous! I’ve been told by many people how jealous they are of my wedding photos in comparison to theirs. But what can I say? We just picked an awesome photographer!

day. I was praying that we would be about to get outside for a bit to take some photos. Luckily, the rain stopped for a bit. When we started to head outside, I knew my heels were going to sink in the wet ground. Ashton quickly threw off her flats, gave them to me to wear and took pictures of us outside barefoot. Despite the poor weather, Ashton captured the most beautiful pictures and I'm so grateful that she was a part of our wedding day. amazing! We met Ashton back in February 2017 right after we were engaged and within minutes of meeting Ashton, I just had to have Ashton as our photographer. Ashton is such a great person and her photos and what she brings to each session is more then I could put into words. We had our engagement session with Ashton in May 2017 at Camden Yards and she made us feel that so special and really enjoyed hanging out with her. Her photos for our engagement session was absolutely amazing! She was really able to capture each moment and really made our photos AMAZING! We met in person with Ashton about 2 months out from our wedding date and helped her plan out our wedding day timeline and really nailed each and every point! Ashton stayed in touch with me all the time and answered any last minute questions I had regarding the day of or just any random questions that we had! On the day of the wedding, Ashton played such a amazing role in making our day so special! Ashton was able to take control of all the photos of the bridal party and was able to make sure that even though some rain happened during photos, she brought us back out (during dinner) to make sure that we had every single photo that we wanted and more given the venue was at a baseball field. Ashton had all our photos back to us within a month and let me tell you, all the photos are just so amazing (all 1,400 of THEM)!!!! Throughout this process, Ashton became a friend to us (I even took a photobooth picture with her at the end of the night) and once the wedding day happened, Ashton really took charge and made our dream become a reality! I could not rave enough about Ashton and her ENTIRE team that made our baseball wedding become the best day of our lives!!!! <3

After coming across Ashton's Facebook page I just knew we had to meet with her and from the moment we met her we knew we absolutely could not work with anyone else. If you are looking for someone who is incredibly talented, passionate and personable trust me when I tell you... talk to Ashton! I am not someone who is normally comfortable in front of a camera and I was worried that would show in my pictures but Ashton just has a way of making you feel so comfortable with her and she is great at directing you to get the best shot. The end result is a collection of phenomenal photographs - I had such a difficult time choosing which to print and hang in my home. On top of the talent that Ashton possesses she also goes above and beyond her call of duty as a photographer. There were more than a couple stressful moments before my ceremony and during the reception but Ashton was always right there to calm me down and even put out a few fires that the venue should have taken care of. She was seriously a life saver! Long story short - we are lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Ashton and absolutely cannot wait to work with her again in the future.

felt confident in her presence and excited for her work. We planned our engagement pictures to be during what would be the "peak" of cherry blossom season in Washington, DC. Ashton was willing and excited to travel to DC with us and take our pictures. As the day quickly approached, the unfortunate longer than expected winter had delayed the blooming of the blossoms. Due to mine and my fiancé's work schedules, etc, we were pretty much set on this one pre scheduled weekend of taking our pictures whether the cherry blossoms were going to be out or not. Then we find out, it is supposed to rain all day we are set to photograph, good Friday of Easter weekend. Well don't you know that at her OWN idea and proposition, Ashton asked if we would be able to switch our day to Easter to capture our engagement pictures. It also turned out to be the day after she herself got engaged. So don't you know she sacrificed celebrating Easter with her family AND celebrating her recent engagement to truck all over DC with us. Even though the blossoms around the tidal basin had not bloomed, we were able to find another area full of blossoms, and she did an amazing job making sure our visions came to life for our pictures! Fast forward to our wedding: she was amazing the entire day. Patient and flexible, easy going and helpful. She was more than just a photographer. She was a dress holder, organizer, & coordinator. She even came on board our trolley and rode with the bridal party as not to miss any photographic worthy moments. She gave us sneak peak pics & within a very reasonable amount of time, just under 6 weeks, she had our gorgeous photos to us!!! They are breathtaking and make me smile from ear to ear. I truly am so happy we found her, and plan on using her again for future pics! She is now like a friend!! Thank you Ashton!!

We hired Ashton about 7 months(ish) before our wedding date, and once meeting her for coffee (she came to us!) and listened to her pitch, the second half of our meeting was similar to getting coffee with an old friend. Throughout the 45 min meet and greet she outlined perfectly what we had envisioned without even having to spell it out for her. We were one of her smallest clients( Our whole wedding and reception consisted of 20 people max) and she made us feel like absolute rockstars. A few months before the wedding, my wife and I wanted to get our engagement shoot out of the way(as to send out announcements to family and friends) and we chose the place. Ashton found a hole in her hectic schedule to come shoot us at the original proposal spot in Washington, DC. She was prompt, on time, and got us samples THAT NIGHT to post on social media and the rest within the promised window of about a week! The day of the wedding, she and her assistant made our day super special, never once forcing us to do a pose or set us up in something we weren't comfortable with, she made it about us. I've never seen such amazing photos of myself, my wife, or our families. Ashton made us shine!! The wedding photos(100s of them) were promised within about a month, and were released the day they were promised. Overall, Ashton is worth the wait, she's even worth changing your wedding date to have her attend your wedding. Her work is so worth it and her demeanor is such that you don't feel like you've hired someone, rather you've invited an extra lifelong friend to share and capture your special day with you! Prompt on time, Always polite, adapts to any social situation or adversity. Ashton never is out of place and makes herself an important and very much wanted part of any special event!

ginally from the county and now live in downtown Baltimore we decided we wanted our photos to give us a touch of both so we decided on Patterson Park. She took us over and braved the cold to shoot our amazing photos. We also wanted photos of us with the Natty Boh tower, realizing they could be much better in the evening than day, she came back a few hours later to shoot more photos of us with the tower. Her willingness to make our session exactly what we wanted was truly wonderful. Almost a year later we got married in a church, small ceremony, just immediate family and a few close friends. I asked if she would join us to get just a few photos, first kiss, walking out of the church and really that's all I wanted. She went above and beyond, shooting everything from the second I stepped into the church. And when the zipper on my dress broke (can you believe it!) she helped my girls invent a way to make my shawl/scarf cover the back of my dress so no one would know. After the ceremony she took stunning photos of Bob and I leaving the church with bubbles all around and managed to catch some truly special moments of the two of us alone and with our adorable nephews. Everything she did for us was amazing and I know she will continue to be an excellent photographer. I would recommend, and have recommended her, for anyone looking for a photographer, I promise, you won't regret it!

Ashton Kelley Photography was the best choice I made for my wedding (other than saying Yes to my groom, of course!) I followed and admired Ashton's work before I was ever engaged, and then when he popped the question, I began my search for a venue... Before I had even approached Ashton about being our photographer, she gave us a bit of friendly advice. That was my first impression of her, and I liked that she was willing to help calm a bride's nerves, even though I hadn't booked with her. She cares more about the people than the money. It is obvious that her priority is to have fun and preserve memories in a creative and unique way! After seeing her work for so long & then realizing that she was genuinely just a great person, we knew we didn't want anyone else doing this job... we had a wedding date already, but she was booked, so we bumped it up a couple of weeks in order to have her. Seriously... she's that good!! Another important detail to a bride is that pesky budget. AKP's pricing was fantastic for the quality and professionalism that we received and still continue to receive as a client! You can make payments as long as payment is received before the time of service, and what bride doesn't appreciate an easy online payment from home with all the other wedding stress we go through?
