We hired Ashyana to cater our sangeet, post-Hindu ceremony and reception for our multi-day mixed Indian/American wedding. They catered indo-chinese options at the Sangeet, South Indian food at the lunch and North Indian food at the reception. The food was very good at the tasting, but everything ended up being even better at the events! The different food options were excellent across the board. The live dosa station in particular was awesome and the cocktail hour and reception dishes got rave reviews from guests (many went back for seconds). It was a great introduction to Indian food for some of our American guests who haven't tried Indian food before. Ashyana was also able to serve everything family-style and worked along side another vendor that provided some American food options. Everything was on time and Samar and his team did a wonderful job delivering on our needs and serving up amazing food!

We are so grateful to Ashyana Team, especially Samar Jain, for catering our wedding! The service on the day was 5 star! Our guests enjoyed the food, which made us so happy. The Menu planning was great, and Samar also gave food options that met our budget. The tasting service was well done, and we were able to communicate our feedback from it effectively. Communication was a little difficult, but that is understandable as it has been a crazy season for the wedding industry

We had Ashyana cater all of our wedding events, and they did a fantastic job. I really wanted the some of the food at my wedding to be different than the usual traditional Indian menu, the Ashyana team were so easy to work with when bringing my ideas to life. They were really good about bringing a fusion of east and west to our wedding!

We used Ashyana for our wedding catering and are very happy that we did! I have been familiar with Ashyana for over 15 years now and it has been elevated to a new level. I was thrilled to work with Samar on a very new and innovative menu (follow them on instagram)! We had items such as methi tacos which were an absolute hit. Beyond the food - our wedding was a COVID casualty, and Samar was beyond flexible working with us. We ended up doing a "micro wedding" in our backyard and everyone loved the food. Highly recommended!

We had a tough time choosing a catering company for our wedding, but after settling on Ashyana and working with Samar, I don't know what was holding us back. It was a truly wonderful experience! From the tasting to the selection process to the final service. Their menu was definitely the most creative of all vendors we looked at, which was a big selling point. More importantly, the process pleasant, fun and affordable, and the food was just FANTASTIC. Our guests loved everything, and it was one of the key items from the wedding they kept talking about. We went a touch non-traditional with our cocktail hour and desserts; methis tacos and momos were adored by all and the first items to fly off. We also did traditional items such as lamb kebabs and daal makhani. Because we had a smaller COVID wedding, we did family style service, and Ashyana provided servers who were attentive. Everything, literally everything, was great. My only regret is that my partner and I ate almost nothing and there were no leftovers, but that simply means we will have to pop into the restaurant one day and re-order our menu. It's a real treat when both experience and product are top notch. We would highly recommend Ashyana and know we will use them again for other large events.

Ashyana has amazing cuisine available in their venue or for offsite catering. They We’re a hired vendor for our most recent client and they did an outstanding job! The food was so delicious and they also Decorated the stations so nicely and care about presentation. As a designer i appreciate this and aside from the tasty food, it really made them stand out against the competition who uses the provided standard chafing dishes. Ashyana was efficient and quick to breakdown and respectful of the things happening around them, paused service for surprise speeches to make sure the moments focus was on the right thing at the right time. This company knows events and knows catering. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to host an event of any kind!

Ashyana is beautiful!! It was everything we expected it to be on our wedding day and MORE. Samar is extremely professional and makes sure that his clients are taken care of and satisfied; I could tell this about him, right away from our first meeting and he did not disappoint on our wedding day. Everything was wonderful and we received so many compliments on the food! When I asked our guests how the food was, not a single guest could tell me one particular thing, rather they all said that EVERYTHING from start to finish was delicious!!! I had a vegetarian dish and it was amazing! I’m still upset that I wasn’t able to finish it 🤣. Thank you Samar and Team for going above and beyond for Mark and I and for our guests on our wedding day! ❤️

We have been to Ashyana for several events over the years - front weddings to birthday parties, engagements to 50th anniversaries. It never disappoints and everything is always beautiful, professional, and the staff are hospitable. Great place to host or attend a special event!

Mr. Jain and his team at Ashyana Banquets did a great job in executing my sangeet and wedding. We secured the space ~11 months in advance, and Mr. Jain helped us every step of the way. We received numerous compliments for the food across all our events, and the venue had numerous decor-related items so we didn't have to spend more money with our decorator (e.g. couch, thalis with flowers and a candle for the bridesmaids to walk in with, select centerpieces). Given Mr. Jain's team's experience with Indian weddings, it was a no brainer for us to use him. He helped us with identifying vendors, and he was always available whenever we needed him throughout the process.

Three years ago, my husband and I had our garba at Ashyana. I am not exaggerating-- I still have friends and family reminding me how much they loved the event (especially the food). We did different food cuisine stations. The staff was fantastic. Honestly, I did not have to worry about anything that night. Ashyana did a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend people use this venue.

Ashyana is a beautiful hall with the best indian food in the area. Samar is great to work with. He's very professional and goes out of his way to make sure your special day goes well. My family and I have been using their halls for many occasions and will continue to do so in the future.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Ashyana Banquets. Great helpful staff - starting off with scheduling and accommodating our requests, along with great knowledge about weddings made it an excellent option. Well the food was literally the icing on the cake, excellent! I couldn't have asked for a better place around here to have my wedding. I would recommend this place to friends and family who are ready to tie the knot. I am sure we are coming back soon for their weddings!

Ashyana catered my wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center. My family and I were very pleased working with them from start to finish. From scheduling, to food tasting, to coordination- I always felt reassured. The food was delicious, and many guests are still raving about it weeks after the wedding!

We held our Silver Wedding Anniversary at Ashyana Banquets Hall last year. It was a wonderful experience working with Mr. Jain, he helped us plan the event by offering wide choice of menu for snacks , dinner and drinks at bar. He also helped with banquet hall selection and various items needed for the event. The banquet hall is very spacious and nicely decorated. Food was very great , wide variety of drinks and everybody liked.The overall service experience was awesome , they provided us a room separately and service was prompt. It is a nice clean place, easily accessible and large parking lot. I will highly recommend this place for wedding related events.

We had our wedding reception here in summer of 2007. Everything from planning the entrance, to the quality of the food, from coordinating our DJ and photographers was perfect. Like any wedding, the groom and bride don’t really get to eat from all the guest greeting and pictures. We had so many guests come and tell us how good the food was. At the end of the night, Mr. Jain came personally with two plates of hot food to our table so that we could eat. I have never been served like that before! Five stars for Ashyana and staff. We also had my son’s birthday party here and working with Ms. Kruti was amazing. She is so helpful and was there at our event helping us manage on the day of!

Very prompt, professional and friendly service. Helped us cater a venue at our school to feed 150 students. Ashyana was able to help us work within our budget, making the entire process very smooth and easy.

We picked Ashyana for our July 2019 Indian-Puerto Rican wedding reception. I've been to numerous events before at Ashyana, so I knew the venue was gorgeous and had great service! Samar Jain has been making the wedding planning process pretty seamless, and we can't wait to get married in just a few months.

Great food, very nice venue. We have been to numerous events at Ashayana and they have all been delicious and executed well. When hosting our own event, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Food is always excellent, their adjacent restaurant is great too.

Mr. Jain is absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! He was so patient and willing to fulfill our every need to make our reception truly an event to remember. Ashyana is more affordable to rent a space when compared to other places, but by no means do you have to compromise on anything... Goes to show you can have a nice venue that you can actually afford. I will recommend this venue to anyone getting married... beautiful, spacious, and lots of parking available. Overall exceptional experience!! - Raju and Renuka Shah.

We held our Silver Wedding Anniversary at Ashyana Banquets. This venue has an amazing choice of rooms to meet the group requirements. What I also loved about Ashyana Banquets is the large selection of food to cater to different people. The staff was prompt in understanding the needs of the guests and professionally delivered service. We often cater to our house parties from this restaurant.

Me and my husband were looking to plan our wedding in a short span of 3 months as we wanted my parents to attend. Picking Ashyana saved us a lot of time on both food and decorations. We just had to visit them a couple of times and everything was well taken care of thereafter. They even gave us good referrals for the photographer and dj. Pick the photographer they refer as he is excellent! We had a mix of Italian and Indian food. Everything was delicious. Our guests really enjoyed the butter chicken and the open bar. If you want to get your wedding organized without having to deal with multiple vendors, you should pick Ashyana. They take care of food, decor, and service. Their grand ballroom looks straight out of a fairytale with a majistic staircase for the bride to make an entrance. All in all we were very happy with Ashyana.

We have multiple events at Ashyana from sweet sixteen to weddings. Everything was done to perfection. Great service. The best thing we liked about them was "Everything under 1 roof" from decorations to food , everything was organized by Ashyana

Ashyana is a perfect place for events. We recently had an Indian Reception (~450 people) and everything was set up perfectly. The food was great, the decorations looked amazing, and the service was great. The staff was very accommodating for our large crows and many requests throughout the months of planning. I would recommend this place for any future reception and parties, especially for large functions.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Ashyana and I cannot be happier. We did our research before we selected this venue and decor services and no one compared to the professionalism and personable nature of Kruti! She was so helpful in making our vision come alive! My husband does not have an imagination what so ever and it was really helpful that Kruti took the time to explain exactly how things would be and reassured us that we are in good hands. Needless to say, Kruti BLEW US AWAY with the decor! Absolutely STUNNING and unforgettable! She made our day SO special! The decor was elegant yet gorgeous! Sahil and his service was phenomenal they take care of your every need! Thank you Sahil for taking care of our entire family during our special day! Our guests are still calling us telling us the food was amazing and they had an amazing time! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASHYANA for any couple to be rest assured and want to be stress free! THANK YOU KRUTI & SAHIL! We will definitely be coming back for our other events!

Ashyana Banquets did an incredible job hosting our wedding. Their staff is extremely attentive and responsive and most of all, very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure all the things I wanted for the wedding were taken care of. I worked with their decorating services, Kruti, and she did an amazing job making the ceremony and reception look spectacular. She is truly very talented and made sure she had a perfect understanding of exactly what we wanted. Three weeks later, our friends and family are still calling us to tell us how amazing the venue was and how great the food, service, etc was which made the wedding luxurious. I couldn't be happier choosing you guys for our special day, you made the entire day go by without a single hitch and made our guests feel very welcomed. Thank you Ashyana for the great experience, I would hands down recommend you guys to anyone and ensure them they are in very good hands!

We had our wedding reception at Ashyana Banquets and could not have imagined doing it anywhere else after how wonderful of an experience it was. The owner, Mr. Jain, assisted us from day one and ensured that everything was on task. We crafted a layout and he followed it completely. We had 840 guests, but due to the way everything was set up, multiple open bars, and the entire hall at our disposal, it never felt overcrowded.

Our wedding was beautiful and we partied hard. Kruti and Nancy were very friendly, open and listened to our needs. Our wedding was exactly how we wanted it to be and more! The day of the Ashyana staff were available whenever we needed them. There was a gentleman there during our ceremony and reception in the evening that was the manager. Thank you Ashyana for a perfect day!

Ashyana Banquets made some great Indian and American food. We and a mix of people who have never had Indian food. Their first experience was great. They did our food for a rehearsal dinner, lunch the next morning, and reception.

We had an Indian wedding ceremony at this banquet hall and as it turns out there are few banquet halls in Chicagoland that can fit large crowds and not look like a soulless cardboard box. If you're looking for a space to hold a lot of people (and by a lot of people I mean over 600) this banquet hall is worth looking into. The prices were decent and negotiable and the staff was friendly, although not always forthcoming. A friend was going to play the piano at our ceremony, but we didn't find out until the last minute that the piano hadn't been tuned in four years. We hired a tuner, but despite this the piano pedal didn't work and our friend, who had been practicing a piece for months, was ultimately not able to perform. Ashyana also knew we were going to have a slideshow and told us they had everything to make it work, but on the DAY OF the ceremony we found out they did not have a projector, just the screens and we had to pay a lot of money to get a projector on site in a matter of hours. Lots of unnecessary stress on your wedding day. Even so, the room looked stunning (thanks to Yanni Design Studios), the food was excellent and all of our guests seemed to have a wondlerful time.

The rooms are beautiful. The prices are extremely reasonable. Many services are included in this price. Guests were awed with the portions and quality of dinner. They were flexible with payment plans. It was very reminiscent of the Abbington, which we also loved, but far cheaper. Benefits far outweight detriments.;The manager, Paul, is somewhat frustrating. The other employees are generally very helpful, but he is difficult to get ahold of and slightly unprofessional in deameanor (although he has tons of experience). Also, not that this is a bad thing, but the majority of events here are Indian. There is an Indian restaurant attached so logically it is a venue where one might find authentic Indian food, if that is what they are looking for. They do still do any other type of event, but knowing their 'specialty' is good background knowledge. During our reception there was another reception going on and in the common areas their ethnic music was quite loud.
