Based in Chicago, IL, and happy to travel, Ask Ooru is for couples who value honesty, warmth, and storytelling over stiff wedding poses and forced moments. I believe the best wedding photos come from real moments: the quiet ones, the joyful ones, and everything in between. My approach is relaxed, thoughtful, and story-driven. So, you can stay present while I focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. Ask Ooru photographs weddings, engagements, micro-weddings, elopements, bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and pre-wedding events. I capture these events with an emphasis on connection, emotion, and authenticity. Whether it's an intimate city ceremony, a backyard celebration, or a full wedding weekend with friends and family, my goal is to document the energy and meaning of each moment. Not just how it looked, but how it felt. I know weddings can move fast, and emotions can run high. My goal is to be a calming presence, blend into the background when needed, and gently guide you when it helps. The result is imagery that feels natural, timeless, and deeply personal. These are photos that you'll want to return to long after the day has passed. I use Nikon and Leica cameras as my main cameras to photograph events.
