aesthetic of Aspen & Elm photos were what drew us to them in the first place, but Chris’ personality got us even more excited about working with him. The day of our engagement shoot we had some unexpected snow on the ground but it made for some beautiful shots and Chris directed Ryan and I like a pro. We got some amazing sweet moments, a lot of laughs, and a damn good dip photo with the Nashville skyline in the background thanks to our guy! Our wedding was many months later but reconnecting with Chris felt like no time had passed. He and his team were timely, professional, but most importantly to us- SO enjoyable to have around. Family members, bridal party, and guests all had nice things to say about how much they loved Chris and his personality. Honestly we wanted him to put down the camera and join the party! Ha. He showed us some sneak peeks the night of, and pulled us aside for some impromptu magical moments that we are so glad we we will never forget. Now that we have gotten our photos and our teaser trailer of our video back, we are BEYOND in love with everything.. I can’t even tell you how many times we have watched and looked through. . She showed up while we were getting ready and immediately calmed my nerves. We’d not even talked with Jackie before that day, but just her presence was amazing. I’m always nervous to get photographed but within seconds I felt like she was just another one of my best friends there and instantly relaxed into being myself. We received our pictures four days ago and I haven’t stopped staring at them. We look like models in a fairytale. Her work went above and beyond my wildest imagination of what we could like. ime she was very patient, creative and meticulous. She cared about capturing my memories and special moments just as much as I did. Although she was very professional, she felt more like a close family friend because she was so personable, even with my “difficult” family members. I loved that she didn't leave any moment of my wedding day missed or forgotten. I was able to look at photos and see people/events that I, myself, had missed due to how hectic my wedding day was.
