Let me begin by stating that the cupcake tasters were absolutely delicious. The best of all the options I tried. However, I did not go with this vendor for a number of reasons. I sent very detailed email to the owner, specifying that I wanted to have a red velvet topper with cupcakes. Additionally, I explained the theme of my wedding in detail. When I arrived with my cake tasters (mother and mother in law), the set up was lovely. Two platters with adorable cupcakes awaited us. But, there wasn't a red velvet taster to be seen - the owner excused this oversight by stating, "everyone knows what red velvet tastes like." Since red velvet was the centerpiece of my wedding and specifically requested, I was instantly put off by her blaze attitude. Then she proceeded to ask me about my wedding theme (which is completely natural when meeting in person), however, she asked as though she had never read my extremely detailed email about what I wanted and my theme. She also tried to go through her usual spiel about cakes and tiers, which I was uninterested in (per my email about cupcakes). She simply did not seem to have spent any time preparing for my specific tasting. While I appreciate that she may have had several tastings that day and I was the last, she should have reread my email prior to my appointment and been prepared for my specific needs. If she had not been so flakey she most certainly would have been the vendor I booked to make my cupcakes because her cupcakes were divine. I simply couldn't trust that she would get the details right after that first impression.

What a wonderful experience! From cake tasting to our wedding day. I wanted a traditional but not that traditional cake and Kristina created exactly what I wanted. I am so happy we trusted Aspen Charm to create our perfect wedding cake!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the stunning cake and lovely cupcakes. Everybody was raving about how beautiful the cake was. It was gorgeous and so romantic. Even better than we could have imagined! The cupcakes were a huge hit and full of flavor! They were still moist and delicious the next day! You are so talented and kind and it was such a pleasure working with you.
