We recently hosted a fall event, and I cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had with the Aspen Snowmass event team. From start to finish, they exceeded every expect...
ation and delivered perfection on every front.
The chefs were truly top-notch. Each dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were absolutely divine. Our guests were raving about the seasonal, creative menu that perfectly captured the essence of autumn. The tomahawk carving station was next level and people are STILL talking about it months later!
What really set this caterer apart was their attention to detail. They thought of everything! From the beautiful presentation of the food to the seamless flow of the evening, it was clear they had gone the extra mile to make sure our event was unforgettable. The decor they added complemented our theme perfectly, and it was those thoughtful touches that really took things to the next level. The staff actually went out into the woods to pick wildflowers and fall foliage to use for our buffet display and for the passed appetizers. So thoughtful!
The staff was beyond accommodating. Every single member of their team was professional, friendly, and ready to help with whatever we needed. They made our guests feel welcome and cared for, and they were so easy to work with throughout the planning process. They really listened to what we wanted and executed everything flawlessly.
In short, Aspen Snowmass Catering made our event magical. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer who goes above and beyond in every way!
As father of the bride, my hope and expectation was that the Buttermilk Mountain Lodge team would provide a high level of service for our 150 guests who travelled to Aspen.
With ...
no exception, they exceeded our expectations.
The service and food were exceptional.
When we walked in to the venue, everything was in order and the staff was welcoming and ready to go.
5 stars!!!
My daughter was married on the mountain at Cliffhouse, the reception followed at Buttermilk on June 29th, 2024. It truly was fabulous! The staff was outstanding, our guests wante...
d for nothing, wine glasses were never empty, the food delicious- we chose passed apps as guests arrived at the reception,
a sit down dinner, late night sliders and cupcakes/sheet cakes for dessert. We received so many compliments from our guests. The entire wedding was truly so wonderful thanks to Lorraine Ferro, Catering Director and her team. She was so very patient with us, making sure everything was just how we wanted it. And offering advice/opinions when needed. My daughter and her now husband said “it was everything they could have asked for!” Best night of their lives! And really, the staff at Buttermilk made sure it was just that!
Thank you so very much!

their ability to bring the vision of our special day to life and were flexible with our needs. Our guests were amazed by the Buttermilk wedding experience and the ASC team helped make it a memorable night for all!

t! Not only were the views at the top of the mountain immaculate, but the venue team did a fantastic job in coordinating the wedding logistics and making the day go so smoothly. If you're on the hunt for your wedding venue, you'd be silly to pass this one up. I couldn't recommend Aspen Snowmass Weddings more!

Cliffhouse and the newly renovated Buttermillk Lodge were the perfect locations for a wedding! All the ASC staff were so professional on our wedding day, from the chairlift attenda...
nts to the servers. We heard so many good things from guests about ASC’s impeccable service. Chef Cody also made the most delicious food that our guests still rave about today! However, our communications with ASC catering left a lot to be desired leading up to our wedding day. During our initial tour and conversations, the wedding coordinator, Lorraine, was quick to respond and seemed very flexible. As soon as we signed our contract, this completely changed. We had a lot of questions after initially signing our contract due to the ongoing renovations at Buttermilk, and we would go weeks without getting a response. When we expressed concerns regarding some discrepancies between what we were told during our initial tour and what was being communicated to us via email, we were met with responses like, “if you would like to cancel your wedding, we would be more than happy to refund your deposit.” We also were frequently reminded that we were not the only event ASC catering was putting on that day. Additionally, we were given an initial food and beverage list when our contract was first signed a year before our wedding. At the time, we were told to expect a very small price increase. We were given an updated F&B list about 3 months before our wedding date that did have a small price increase, which we were not concerned about. Then, the month of our wedding, we were told that some of the wines we had chosen were not available and we were sent a third F&B list that had different beverage options and even higher beverage prices. ASC catering was able to honor the prices of the 2nd F&B list we were given, but this was just one example of the lack of transparency and poor timeliness we experienced. It was a really disheartening experience, and I hope that no other couple ever has to go through what we went through when communicating with their venue. Lorraine even had the audacity to tell our wedding planner on the day of our wedding that she was glad she would never have to deal with us again, despite our wedding planner frequently reassuring us that this was not a normal experience with a venue. Overall, we would rate our day of service a 5/5 and our communications leading up to our wedding day a 2/5.
