ning an out of town wedding but somehow Lauren made it even more so. She prided herself on how communicative she is but it took on average 2-4 weeks to get a simple response from her on time sensitive issues. I felt gaslighted during the whole vendor picking process even though Asheville during the fall is the MOST populat time and most vendors were already getting booked up. I firmly believe that she was trying to get us to spend more money because she charges based off a percentage of your budget. There were SOOOO many red flags during the planning process with her but the last straw came 3 months before our big day. She requested to change a meeting date (one that was highly anticipated and full of last details) and she never showed up. She stopped ALL communication to us even when we reached out via email, phone and a messaging app she used. At one point our wedding planning website was locked out because she didn't pay the bill. Its now October 2023 and our day went on without a hitch due to a fantastic NEW planner we had to get last minute but DONT hire her. During our process of cancelling our contract with her we saw that she actually dissolved her business back in February 2023 without letting us know. So in a nut shell she took our money and ghosted us.
