We cannot say enough amazing things about Asteria Photography. Aside from her amazing talents behind the lens, Caroline is an amazing person too! She was organized, timely, talented, and patient! We did not hire a wedding planner but Caroline helped to create an entire timeline for our day that worked perfectly. We got to see some sneak peaks of our photos in less than 24 hours after our day that were stunning and we CANNOT WAIT to see the rest. Writing this review from our honeymoon as we were just talking about how Caroline is the powerhouse for wedding photography. The best in the business in both talent and professionalism!!! We love her!!

Caroline is an absolute joy to work with - enthusiastic, overly prepared, kind, and the ultimate hype woman on your big day. We are in awe at how seriously amazing our wedding pictures turned out (& how quickly they were ready)! She captured the warmth and happiness we felt throughout the day so effortlessly. Caroline had to travel to New York to shoot our wedding. She went above and beyond - even getting here a day early to scout locations and learn the area so that the day of went so smoothly. She seamlessly captured the day in various lighting with ease - inside getting ready pics, outside ceremony at sunset, and reception in a candlelight cellar. She was prepared for it ALL!! She is incredible. I highly recommend her for any of your photographer needs!

My husband and I couldn't have been luckier to Caroline. Since the first conversation and ideas of photos and places, she was incredibly thoughtful and creative. Also, she didn't mind at all listen our douts and explain everything that was necessary to make us feel confident about our photoshooting. And, I can't forget to mention that her energy and enthusiasm taking our phots created a surprisingly light and fun atmosphere for the photo shoot, which made my husband and I super comfortable taking the photos. Finally, it is important to say our photos are increably beatiful, with an amazing quality and edition. Caroline's photos were beyond any expectaions and We will always be greteful for her work.

Hiring Asteria Photography was one of our first wedding planning decisions and definitely our best one! Caroline is the sweetest, and makes you and your friends and family feel SO comfortable in front of the camera, even if you don’t normally feel comfortable having your picture taken. She is extremely knowledgeable about wedding planning, and shared what she’s learned over the years while helping us create a timeline for the day of the wedding. She’s thoughtful, and helped our day run perfectly and seamlessly. I have zero regrets about hiring Caroline and her team (except maybe that we didn’t have them stay longer to capture even more of our night!). We didn’t hire a videographer for our wedding day, and we were worried we might regret it, but we don’t because the photos we received capture all the emotion from the day just as well. Caroline and her team are simply the best and I am so thankful that we chose them to photograph our day, and that we’ll have these beautiful photos to look back on forever!

Absolutely perfect!!! I recommend them 1000%!! Not only are the photos absolutely beautiful but Caroline and her team were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Day of Caroline and Morgan totally hyped us up while taking pictures making it so much fun and made us relaxed which made the photos/smiles genuinely happy and enjoying ourselves (not just couple, but whole bridal party even). Guests even told me later how awesome and friendly the photographers were . Photos were even delivered earlier than expected which was a huge bonus for us.

Working with Caroline from Asteria Photography was an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only were Caroline & her team professional and timely, they were warm, kind and fun. I think those qualities are so important, especially for me and my husband. We are not "picture" people and are really uncomfortable with being in front of the camera, but Caroline made the process SO easy. My husband and I took a long time searching for photographers. We were supposed to meet Caroline in a coffee shop on a Sunday but that morning she texted me and asked if we’d be willing to do a photo shoot instead because it had just snowed. She took the dreamiest pictures and we were sold! We loved her energy and I knew I needed her with me on my big day. Not only did we love her but so did everyone around her on our wedding day. We still get compliments on how sweet and wonderful our photographers were and how amazing Caroline did on our photos. Our wedding day flew by, like I’m sure most do. I was sad that it was over but when I got our wedding pictures back (less than 2 weeks later) I was able to relive our day all over again. She captured every emotion perfectly. Within minutes of meeting Caroline we knew she was the right photographer for our wedding day! Caroline and her team are professional, friendly, on top of every task, and so very pleasant to work with. My husband and I were not into the idea of having a long photo session, so she worked with us to get our pictures done quickly, and even had her second photographer take the same photos to ensure we looked flawless in every shot. It was a hot day, and for our family pictures, she gathered people FAST and got them out of the heat as soon as she could. Everyone was impressed. I love that Caroline allows you to see her client's galleries, so you can see the full day experience with her and not just a few shots (many photographers show you only a small selection which represent the best of the best). Caroline is a beautiful person inside and out who made our decision very easy from our first meeting. I made my husband go with me to meet her because I feel it's important to connect with the person who will be up close and personal to you both for much of your wedding day. He complained about going at first but after our meeting he was completely sold and couldn't have nicer things to say about her-and I couldn't either! Everything about Asteria is a 5 out of 5 but I wish I could rate her "responsiveness" a 6 out of 5 stars because she takes responsiveness to a new level which is so important throughout the process :) She is professional, accommodating, and genuinely loves what she does. I knew as soon as I saw her work that she was a top candidate for our wedding and meeting her just solidified the decision!

I just spent a few hours looking over all of my wedding photos and am so happy! Asteria Photography did an amazing job capturing the whole day. We could not have asked for a better photographer on our big day!! Caroline made us feel like the most special couple in the entire world and made, not only us, but our entire wedding party (including a 4 year-old) feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Wow--I am in completely awe of my entire experience with Caroline. She clearly loves what she does which makes her work shine. Her energy is contagious. We had an engagement shoot with her a year ago and then the wedding a few weeks ago. She had the wedding photographs edited and sent to us in a week! She clearly has a photographer's eye because she kept finding beautiful nooks and scenes to take photos in. She had tons of ideas and kept the shoot moving quickly. She's open to suggestions but doesn't expect you to come in with any ideas (which I loved). My husband wishes there were more wedding party group photos but I actually really liked that part being relatively brief--my suggestion is to specify if you want a longer "posed" session during the wedding. Not only is Caroline a wonderful person to work with, the photos are breathtaking. Highly recommend Asteria Photography!

Caroline did such an amazing job! Photography was the most important thing to me while planning our wedding. When I found Asteria I knew that we HAD to go with them. Caroline does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She has such enthusiasm, you can tell she really loves what she does. Our wedding pictures were everything I could have asked for and more.

Caroline is the perfect wedding photographer. I had a very hard time finding someone that met my standards within our budget. She has recently raised her prices but still worth it! She is so bubbly and happy but very professional. Her photography is just stunning. I fell in love as soon as I found her and BEGGED my fiance to let me book her over a year out before our wedding day. We live in Cincinnati and all she required to travel to us was for us to get her a hotel room as her travel fee. She came out to us for our engagement session for free and I got so many compliments on how pretty they were. She was more than happy to let us get pictures with our furbabies. She usually has a sneak peek up within the week of a shoot on facebook and delivers photos pretty quickly. We have not gotten our wedding photos back yet. I've only seen the 120ish "sneak peek" she posted but they are all so amazing I could not be happier with our choice to book her. I should be getting the rest within a week or so and I cannot wait to see all the photos. She captured our day perfectly and I can't thank her enough for being so amazing!!!!

Going into our wedding, my husband and I put a strong priority on quality photography for our big day. We interviewed over a dozen photographers and were about to give up and settle when we met Caroline and Mara. We were blown away by their enthusiasm, professionalism, and body of work. We knew that they were the right people for us and we did not regret it! Caroline and Mara went above and beyond, even going so far as to help me find a new (and amazing!) makeup artist at the last moment when I was not happy with how my makeup trial went! On the day of, they were on time, excited, and so much fun to work with. They made getting hundreds of pictures taken feel natural and not awkward and managed to wrangle our large families for quick and (almost) painless family photos. The turn around on our pictures was absolutely wonderful! We are just over a week out from our wedding and we already have over a hundred edited images from these amazing ladies!!! Caroline is an inspiration. We had so much fun working with her throughout the engagement pictures and the wedding. We also loved Mara! The two together captured the evening! They also took the time to do some really artistic pictures with the groomsmen and groom at the reception. The turn around time is super quick. We got over 1400 pictures within three weeks. Caroline is so silly and encouraging, she actually makes taking pictures fun and not this weird posing session. The price is a steal for the quality, service, and the number of photographs you get! Overall, I'm so grateful to have worked with Asteria Photography!

After sorting through several portfolios of local vendors and turning down offers from friends who do photography at a professional level, my photography snob of a new husband discovered Asteria right here on the knot and immediately liked the shots and editing style (a big deal I assure you). And I immediately liked the price, being right on our budget and including an engagement session. No photography service had offered this quality of work for so dare I say, humble a price. We jumped at the chance of getting a photo style we loved without breaking the bank. We met Caroline and I instantly fell in love. She was fun, energetic, bursting with positive energy, and seemed immediately invested in our wedding day and what it meant to us personally. She cared and her sense of humor put me at ease right away so that I was completely comfortable with the idea of working with her. Our engagement session confirmed this and I LOVE those shots. We had fun during the shoot and it was as if we had hired one of our friends after all. This feeling remained consistent when the big day finally came and Caroline and Mara (who I had not yet met and was of course, also brilliant)arrived for "getting ready" photos. After shrieking in delight that it was our wedding day at last, they both fell right to work. They were like part of the wedding party with cameras. They talked with us and laughed with us all while capturing beautiful moments of great significance. As soon as I arrived at our wedding venue the day began to speed by me and though I lived it, there were moments that I simply missed despite the ceremony going perfectly. Family portraits were a breeze and I was amazed at how many photos they took between them (now I know it was to capture perfection). They even took turns acting ridiculous to get my shy little nephew to smile, which showed me just how much they cared about making each shot a beautiful memory. Our bridal party/couple shoot was like a group of friends hanging out. We were cracking jokes and laughing the whole time. They found some awesome backdrops for shots as we explored the immediate area around the venue. Then just as before, life began moving in fast forward as soon as we arrived for the reception. Next thing I know, it's all over. It was the happiest day of my life, but it was a blur. I missed a lot. But only a few weeks later I had a treasure trove of memories in a tiny little thumb drive. Marcus's face when I walked down the isle, the happiness of my family, the smiles and laughter of my closest friends, and the moments shared between our families, meeting for the first time, were all there, in still life. Now I can look at a photo and walk around in that memory for as long as I want. I can live the day over again and not have missed a thing, all because Caroline and Mara were there, sweetly and effortlessly making time stand still for me. It is no small thing, what they do for people on their most important day, it is hard for anyone to be alert and fully in the moment every moment for even well, a moment. But they paid attention to everything for an entire day and I assume, did not sleep for awhile to deliver our completed photos so quickly. Caroline and Mara of Asteria Photography are a joy to work with, are wonderfully affordable, and quickly deliver a quality product that I know will mean as much to you as it does to me. I could not recommend them more.

I knew the minute we started our engagement session that I needed Caroline and Mara for my wedding. Caroline has this beautiful personality and heart that just shines through her work. From the second you meet her, you can tell she is so genuine and personable. After the ceremony it was time to take the family pictures, something I had heard is difficult and kind of a process. Everyone is excited and ready to celebrate so organizing the groups can be straining. Caroline has an organized system that lets each person know when its time for them to step up. It was a piece of cake. Everything went incredibly smooth, even the grandfathers were happy! They were both very flexible and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. I have received so many wonderful comments on our photos. We are so grateful to Asteria Photography for giving us all these special moments, something we will cherish the rest of our lives. Caroline was amazing. She was very professional and easy to work with. It gave me such peace of mind to know that she understood what I wanted. The day of our wedding was so smooth. She was a great director when taking posed family photos. She also was able to give us confidence and ideas for more couple photos that aren't totally traditional and wasteful. Caroline worked behind the scenes and was able to capture so many honest moments. We are so happy with the final photos and cannot believe what a deal and a dream it was to work with her. Asteria Photography was absolutely amazing! Out of all the vendors I used for my wedding, Asteria was my favorite to work with. Caroline is very prompt and thorough. She responded to all of my emails in 24 hours or less and provided excellent customer service throughout the planning process. Caroline is FAST! We had our engagement photo's (over 50 pictures) within 24 hours after they were taken. Our wedding photo's (over 800 pictures) were given to us in about a week. The cost was very reasonable - Asteria worked with me and my budget and went above and beyond the cost of service. I felt very comfortable around Caroline during the photography process. During our engagement session, she made me feel like a bride should feel - beautiful! Our wedding was no different and at times I hardly knew she was there. Caroline's style of photography is what caught my eye in the first place. My husband and I researched different photographers in the area for weeks and chose Ateria based on the style and cost. We met with Caroline and went through her portfolio of weddings in their entirety. This was very important to us because a photographer can have a few good shots here and there, but we wanted to make sure an entire album had just as much detail and style. Asteria does not take traditional wedding pictures. We posed for some bridal party and family pictures but most of our pictures were not posed, which is what we wanted. I was very very happy with our wedding pictures. I've gotten lots of compliments on our pictures - a friend of mine is now using Caroline for her wedding in January. I have nothing but good things to say about Caroline and Asteria photography! Her style, value, and customer service are unmatched.

We had such a great experience Caroline and Mara! When I met with Caroline to go over the schedule for the day, she was so enthusiastic and excited to be a part of our wedding, and put me at ease about how things would go, and one of the most important parts of the day for me - the pictures! She and Mara arrived before the ceremony and I did not have to worry about a thing - they were there shooting away as we got ready, got married and celebrated. They both were extremely willing to get the shots we wanted, including a special moment with the groom pre-ceremony.
