r felt pressured or uncomfortable and felt I could be honest and I was happy that they would give me their honest opinion when asked! I did end up buying my dress here and would recommend this shop to any of my family and friends!
I showed up to my appointment with NO CLUE what I wanted out of a dress. Within my appointment time, we tried on a variety of textures and silhouettes. With each dress, I gave feed...
back on what I did or didn’t like about the dress and my consultant and owner, Leslee, kept pulling dresses to match the feedback. By the end, I basically had my dress picked out but came back the following week so I could sleep on it. Outside of just trying on the dresses, everyone in the shop was extraordinarily nice and happy to be there. They were friendly and receptive to feedback. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and very cute which made for a fun experience. I’m also a big fan of what the shop sells: consigned dresses or dresses from brands that were out of season etc and would’ve been used in a less sustainable way. Additionally, they have a HUGE and size inclusive selection. Overall, I loved my experience at Astraea Bridal and will be recommending to anyone who will listen.
Shopping with Laura at Astrea was such a pleasure! My gals and I felt so welcome and she seemed to hone in on my vision instantaneously. Laura shared a wealth of experience and inf...

and welcoming. It is inclusive both LGBTQ and size. Megan made me feel super comfortable, asked me lots of questions about what I liked and didn't like and helped me narrow things down. They had lots of dresses in my size (usually a 16). I didn't walk out with a dress, but I did walk out with more confidence, more knowledge and more excitement about wedding dress shopping. THANK YOU!
They had so many beautiful options! This shop was worth the visit with a beautiful location, so many dresses in my size (plus size), and super friendly staff.

Laura took time to understand me and truly picked up exactly the type of bride I am and what’s important to me. I recommend this to literally anyone- very inclusive and ethically conscious too!
Laura did such a great job adjusting to my needs and wants. She was very professional and gave great advice. I am so happy I was able to shop a small business for my wedding dress!...

finitely recommend Astraea to anyone looking for a 5-star experience.
I LOVE ASTRAEA. I wanted to buy a dress secondhand for price and environmental reasons, but I still wanted to have a special, relaxing experience, and Astraea absolutely delivered....
They made myself and my guests feel so welcome, provided the right guidance and advice (including where and how to get it altered to fit), and made me feel safe in an experience that was fun but also a little bit personally stressful. I ended up going back months later and purchasing the veil I had tried on with my dress, too, because I was lucky enough it hadn't sold yet and their prices and selection were just the best. I work as a wedding coordinator and florist myself, and I can't wait to send my clients and friends here! Professional photos by TMInspired Photography.

ic I was looking for. Loriah went above and beyond to provide additional education about materials and fit. She offered honest feedback when asked and even got me outside of my comfort zone! Megan was able to provide expert opinion on what would be possible in terms of tailoring/altering dresses, which was extremely helpful. The perfect pairing of lovely atmosphere and lovely ladies ~ you will feel like a queen on the hunt for your perfect dress <3

Laura (who is one of the owners!) made us feel right at home with her chummy friendliness and vast expertise. Laura helped me understand what it was that I liked and put no pressure on me to make any decisions. This was my first dress appointment and I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else.

a bridal boutique in Whatcom county, I was feeling a little defeated, and a little nervous that I was just going to have to settle for a wedding dress that wasn’t me. But then I remembered driving by Astraea a few days before and decided to give them a call and see if they might have what I was looking for. I talked to Laura for a minute and she told me she DID have what I was looking for and to come right in. What Laura didn’t say, is that she is a mind reader and knew exactly what I was looking for. Not only did she have the dress I had been hoping to find (literally pinned on my Pinterest 3 times) but she also pulled more than 10 other stunning dresses that were so gorgeous and made me feel so beautiful that I spent 2 hours going back and forth trying to decide because I loved them so much. This was the dress shopping experience I had been dreaming and hoping for! If you’re looking for your sign to make an appointment, this is it!
Had the most amazing time! The dresses were so gorgeous and everyone was extremely helpful!!

ht to pick. I loved every single dress she picked out! we discussed our likes and dislikes on every dress to help decipher what I actually wanted. She gave me great advice, supported me thought out the whole appointment, and gave so much body positivity. This appointment was the first time I have ever really felt like a grown women and loved my body. I genuinely had a great time and think I found my dress for the day! I can’t say enough about the ladies at Astraea. Just know they will never do you wrong! They care more about their clients than the sales. Thank you so much, Laura!

hin budget, and even went through estimated cost of alterations as I tried on. They fully buttoned up each dress and even took photos, all while making me laugh and consider items I would not have normally (shopping makes me nervous- especially dresses). They even have a seamstress partnership that they set me up with including alterations notes and they are considerate of the environment and making sustainable sourcing choices for inventory and packaging. Cannot recommend any other store! Best customer service I have ever experienced.
I had an AMAZING experience here. 10/10 recommend. I do not like shopping and tend to get overwhelmed, but Laura made me feel so comfortable and also offered great recommendations ...
about how different dresses could be altered or adjusted to fit my body type. The owners are also committed to being a sustainable business and put a ton of thought into the businesses they partner with to find quality materials and suppliers that are committed to sustainability. The only thing I would change is going here sooner!

tely love! If you are like me and enjoy consignment shopping and still want to find a beautiful wedding dress, this is the place to go!
I had a wonderful experience working with Laura, co-owner of Astraea Bridal. She listened attentively, was extremely knowledgeable about their dress inventory, and incorporated my ...
budget and stated style preferences into her recommendations. She offered encouragement and suggestions when appropriate and was so caring and communicative throughout the process. I cannot say enough good things! I would absolutely recommend Astraea for your wedding dress shopping - you will be well taken care of and supported.
Such an amazing bridal shop!
The owner and staff are so friendly and encouraging in your journey to find a wedding dress. If you're like me: on a budget with little time and are ...
super indecisive, then I think this place is great route to go.
Because it is a consignment bridal shop there are so many hidden gems that you can find for every budget! Plus, the inventory is always changing so you never know what you're going to find. However, this is why it can be stressful to make a decision because the dress you like might get snatched up.
But overall, really impressed with this shop for my first ever dress shopping experience.
Absolutely the best bridal experience ever. Laura knows how to style any body type, is creative, and genuinely cares about her customers. Her dresses are all so well cared for, and...

an pull dresses ahead of time. I had three guests with me who were able to browse the dresses during the appointment and tag if there were dresses they wanted to see me in. Laura was great at helping me really think through what I did or didn't like in each dress so she could adjust dress selections as needed. She also knew the story of each dress and how it came to be in their consignment shop, which showed me how much care and attention they give their dresses. By the end of my appointment, I had picked a wedding dress and they were sending alteration information to the seamstress they work with, so I didn't even need to do that part!
Laura was an absolute gem. Authentic, in-tune, and very down-to earth. She was a ton of fun, and very easy/comfortable to talk to. Felt heard, and recommended things that were on ...
point with what I shared with her, but also recommended a few things I wouldnt have thought to try based-off my theme and our conversations.
She then personally helped me figure out what changes we needed to make to get exactly what I wanted. She was so knowledgeable and went a step above and beyond with the finishing touches and one on one personal input.
I had a blast, when I started off nervous. Totally took the intimidation out of wedding dress shopping.
I cannot recommend Astraea Bridal enough! Being a plus size bride I had dressing room flashbacks of nothing fitting right and working with such a limited selection, a phone call an...
d an appointment later, I am so impressed with the selection of dresses band how knowledgeable and fun my appointment was. I felt taken care of and I cannot thank you enough for making a day I dreamed about for years, a dream come true!
Let's talk.
About how freakin' awesome Astrea Bridal is. Holy cow, first of all Laura is a bridal witch, making a girl's dreams happen one day at a time. They're pure magic.
In ...
my experience if Bridal shopping so far, she's the first person that genuinely asked me what I was looking for and what inspiration I had, she checked my inspo and immediately pulled dresses a girl could drool over. She pulled several dresses that I never thought to try on and instantly fell in love with one and gave me the first moment where I've felt like a bride in this whole process.
Then, she pulled something that we could MAKE into my dream dress, with the vision I have, the knowledge she has, all while sticking in with my budget. We've said yes to the dress and we're now making something magical for the big day.
I cannot tell you how wonderful they are here and how much love and support they deserve.
Amazing! Lindsey was incredible. I was so nervous yet she put me at ease and listened to what I wanted. Astraea had a wonderful dress selection of various styles. I tried on a lot ...

gaged. Laura made it an amazing experience, she asked me what I had in mind, looked at photos I had for inspiration and helped me narrow down what I wanted. I went home with my dress and I can’t wait to wear it in a year! Thank you Leslee and Laura!
What a relaxing, MAGICAL experience! The selection was enormous for such a small shop, and Leslie made us feel right at home.

ved my experience of choosing my wedding dress here! She was wonderfully attentive, amazingly knowledgeable, and could give me an estimate RIGHT THERE for how much each dress would cost in total, including the individual tailoring each dress would need!
I was SO impressed. Definitely, definitely go here.
I had the best time searching for my dream dress with Leslie. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel totally at ease. Her shop is gorgeous and her selection is impressive!
It was a relief to not have to drive all the way to Seattle to find a lovely wedding dress shop. Astraea is easily located in downtown Mt Vernon, WA. Finding a wedding dress can be...
a bit stressful. Laura was friendly and empathetic. Unlike many brides who are young, excitable, and traveling with an entourage, I was more laid back and quiet and Laura soon picked up on this to match my energy. Even though there was a decent selection of styles and inclusive sizes she even worked to get in some more dresses that she thought I would like! She was eager to give recommendations for other wedding vendors in the area and seemed to genuinely want me to be happy, not just sell a dress. I highly recommend Astraea!
Astraea Bridal was amazing! Their customer service and expertise is unmatched. Lauren picked out a great mix of dresses that aligned exactly with my vision and also included some o...
ther fits that she wanted me to confirm I didn’t like. She was a total pro with deep knowledge of different fits, fabrics, and how alterations could change the look of the dresses I tried on. She even gave me a ballpark estimate for alterations so I wouldn’t be surprised if I went with my dress. I ended up saying YES to the dress!
This was the most perfect experience I could have asked for as a plus size bride. Many of the dresses were magical and beautiful and in my size! I haven’t seen a larger collection ...
at a boutique shop yet for plus size. Modern, elegant, hip whatever you’re looking for in plus size it’s there. Or you might end up with something totally new to you like I did. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

ble to give such good feedback on alterations, share the stories of the dresses, and answer any and all questions we had. The store obviously has been cared for and studied deeply with only the highest quality dresses, lighting, staging areas, and fitting rooms. Every single dress I tried on was beautiful - but ultimately we found the one that had the edge, and Leslie helped find the perfect alternative veil for it, since I did not like the formality of the traditional veils. She listened to what I wanted, and what our venue feel was and definitely delivered. Will be recommending to all of my friends getting married, and wish I could go back every day and shop around. What a magical shop!
