Athena Estate & Vineyard began as a humble West Virginia family farm, lovingly tended for generations. What once was open pasture slowly transformed into gardens, wildflowers, and a small vineyard shaped by family hands and shared memories. In 2009, when our daughter chose the farm for her rehearsal dinner, friends and family gathered from across the country and were captivated by the setting. That moment sparked a vision to share this special place with others. Soon after, Athena Estate & Vineyard was born. Today, our estate offers a timeless, Appalachian backdrop for unforgettable celebrations. We are honored to share our family's land with you and to help make your wedding day truly "Almost Heaven." elping you prepare for your big day. All their workers were on it the day of and before the wedding. Anything and everything we needed they were there to lend a helping hand with a smile! We also rented the house on site, and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone was able to be together and have a great time the whole weekend The catering was so great! It was hit and ready on time! Plus extremely yummy!! I can't express how thankful I am to them for making our day so special. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have the best day. We also used their DJ - Timothy, he did a fabulous job!

The grounds are beautiful, the owners are nice. However the cost is very high and if it rains there is only a tent to be covered under.

Athena Farm & Vineyard is owned by a sweet couple who enjoy making wedding days special. They have a staff on-site that is there to assist with any needs during the set-up and the ...

duration of the event. They have chairs, tables, tents, etc on-site. Depending on the package selected, these items can be provided and set up by the Athena staff. The site is absolutely gorgeous (my wedding was in August) with beautiful flowers and greenery surrounding. There are places on-site for the wedding party to get ready. The venue is close to many hotels and restaurants to accommodate family that may travel from out of town. Would highly recommend Athena for any venue - wedding or not. It was the most beautiful wedding I could have asked for.

Athena Farm & Vineyard was the perfect location for my wedding ceremony and reception site! I was able to use their Prayer Garden for the site locations and a patio they have, with...

trees strung with pre-lit lights overhanging the area, for the reception. They offer very unique, fun packages, and the owners are the kindest people you will ever meet!
