About this vendor
I created athornsphoto in hopes of it becoming my ministry to spend the most important days of people's lives with them. It is my mission to be more than just a vendor, but to be friends with all of my couples, seniors and families. My gift isn't turning on a camera, but knowing how to see the beauty in whatever life throws at us. My style is a mix of dark & moody, using natural light, shadows & raw emotions. I want every session to be custom-suited to each person, for my sessions to feel more like "date nights" and "hangouts" rather than the awkward studio sessions your Mom used to force you to do for the holidays. 10/10 recommend! Very helpful, easy communication, beautiful images
Autumn was the first vendor we booked in 2020 for our 2021 wedding which was then postponed to 2022 due to COVID. Every step of the way, Autumn went above and beyond. From being ve...
ry flexible/supportive when we needed a date change, to providing other vendor recs and timeline help, she was a GEM. Additionally, we had never had professional photos taken before so we were a little nervous and Autumn and her second shooter, Nick, made us feel right at home. I swear, the million laughing photos we got were really candids! I cannot recommend Autumn enough for your photography needs.
You're here because you're thinking of hiring Autumn. Do me a favor, stop reading, hire her, then come back to read the rest. You won't regret it.
Not only are Autumn's photograph...
s incredible, but she is also the exact person you want for your wedding day if you are the bride or groom.
We found Autumn on Instagram and loved her photo style, so we thought we would have her do our wedding. We first met her during our engagement photos, and we knew right away she was the perfect person. She was so sweet, had great ideas, and made us both feel comfortable and fun, which made our pictures that much better.
Then came the wedding day. Her website and forms make it easy to tell her what you want and when. She was great at fitting everything in and. was open about things we may have to omit to keep on schedule. That and giving her some creative freedom also helped our pictures turn out even better.
As a person, Autumn was constantly checking in on the bride and groom to make sure they were feeling OK, if they needed anything, and that made both of us feel so happy and comfortable. As the groom, I was so nervous ahead of the first look, but Autumn and her second photographer, Nick, made me listened to me and calmed me down.
As the bride, I enjoyed how Autumn made sure my opinion was heard throughout the night and she kept asking me questions about what else I wanted, if we wanted this or that, and always made sure things were great.
Her wedding book helped us come up with a timeline for our wedding and it was so good it actually got followed. Even when we got behind schedule, we were back on track quickly.
As I said in the beginning, just hire Autumn!
Autumn is the absolute BEST!! She did our engagements last year and she & Nick did our wedding at the Whiskey Factory in April. Her style is so unique and I am completely obsessed ...
with every single photo she gives us. My husband has never been a fan of getting his picture taken but she makes it so easy and enjoyable that he didn't mind it one bit! She was also a huge help with timeline for the day of - the guide she provides has all the tips and tricks you need! I even packed it with me day of the wedding! On top of that she is just the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet!! 10000/10 recommend athornsphoto
Whatever you do, HIRE Autumn for your wedding photographer. She is the most kind, professional, calming, and makes it feel like you've known her your whole life. And on top of that...
, her work is ABSOLUTELY stunning. We are so pleased with our engagement photos as well as wedding preview photos and cannot wait to see the entire album. The amount of compliments we have received on our wedding photos is not surprising in the least. I have stared at them for hours and am completely obsessed. She was so helpful in timeline planning and making sure we stayed on task. She is so talented and I am forever grateful she was there to capture our day.
Autumn and I went to the same church when we were younger. When I was 13 I modeled jewelry for one of our youth leaders jewelry company and autumn was the photographer. I had the p...
leasure of being able to witness autumn grow in her photography! Way before I got engaged i KNEW I would hire autumn. Her work, her eye for detail, creativity. All of it is so amazing. Not only that but she and Nick are incredible to work with. They make you feel so comfortable and confident! Autumn helped make the process of getting the wedding party and family together for photos seamless (hard to do with our peeps) lastly and I think most importantly autumn and Nick are GOOD people, their energies and spirits are so bright which i believe is most valuable, we can't thank her and Nick enough but I hope everyone I know books with them so we can keep seeing them at events!

ing. Autumn is 100% worth the investment. Autumn and Nick are absolutely just wonderful to work with. They were the easiest vendors we had when we had to postponing our original wedding in 2020 and they went so above and beyond when it came to scouting the most perfect places for our destination wedding. Autumn and Nick are so creative and know how to make you look your best which extremely great when you feel awkward in pictures. They are knowledgeable, efficient and talented. An absolute DREAM team. Two people you wish you could be best friends with forever. If you’re thinking about booking them, do it. It’ll be the best decision you make.
Autumn and Nick were my wedding photographers, and it's hard to say anything that other reviewers haven't already raved about. Autumn and Nick are so genuinely kind, personable, pr...
ofessional, and remarkably talented. My (now husband) and I picked our wedding date based on Autumn's availability because of how absolutely stunning her work is. I have been following her on social media for years, and I always admired how her photos felt so raw, emotional, and artistic. I knew that my wedding photos would be safe in her hands, and not only did her and Nick NOT disappoint, but they totally exceeded our expectations. The day of our wedding, our timeline did not go as planned, but Autumn and Nick remained so calm and patient and reassured me that they would get all of the shots we wanted. As others have commented on, Autumn and Nick also have an amazing ability to make you feel comfortable and at ease while being photographed, which was SO nice, because my husband and I are both pretty camera shy. The photos they delivered are just breathtaking, and are seriously beyond what I ever could have imagined. Thank you endlessly to Autumn and Nick for the precious moments you uniquely captured for us. HIGHLY recommend!

r word that can be used to describe an amazing person. They are more than just photographers. They treat you like they have know you for years! A good portion of our engagement photo session was spent talking to them and laughing. Their work is truly BREATHTAKING. Trust me when I say that after they photograph you, you will plan other events in which they can photograph you again. And again.
