I created athornsphoto in hopes of it becoming my ministry to spend the most important days of people's lives with them. It is my mission to be more than just a vendor, but to be friends with all of my couples, seniors and families. My gift isn't turning on a camera, but knowing how to see the beauty in whatever life throws at us. My style is a mix of dark & moody, using natural light, shadows & raw emotions. I want every session to be custom-suited to each person, for my sessions to feel more like "date nights" and "hangouts" rather than the awkward studio sessions your Mom used to force you to do for the holidays. ry flexible/supportive when we needed a date change, to providing other vendor recs and timeline help, she was a GEM. Additionally, we had never had professional photos taken before so we were a little nervous and Autumn and her second shooter, Nick, made us feel right at home. I swear, the million laughing photos we got were really candids! I cannot recommend Autumn enough for your photography needs.

s incredible, but she is also the exact person you want for your wedding day if you are the bride or groom.
We found Autumn on Instagram and loved her photo style, so we thought we would have her do our wedding. We first met her during our engagement photos, and we knew right away she was the perfect person. She was so sweet, had great ideas, and made us both feel comfortable and fun, which made our pictures that much better.
Then came the wedding day. Her website and forms make it easy to tell her what you want and when. She was great at fitting everything in and. was open about things we may have to omit to keep on schedule. That and giving her some creative freedom also helped our pictures turn out even better.
As a person, Autumn was constantly checking in on the bride and groom to make sure they were feeling OK, if they needed anything, and that made both of us feel so happy and comfortable. As the groom, I was so nervous ahead of the first look, but Autumn and her second photographer, Nick, made me listened to me and calmed me down.
As the bride, I enjoyed how Autumn made sure my opinion was heard throughout the night and she kept asking me questions about what else I wanted, if we wanted this or that, and always made sure things were great.
Her wedding book helped us come up with a timeline for our wedding and it was so good it actually got followed. Even when we got behind schedule, we were back on track quickly.

leasure of being able to witness autumn grow in her photography! Way before I got engaged i KNEW I would hire autumn. Her work, her eye for detail, creativity. All of it is so amazing. Not only that but she and Nick are incredible to work with. They make you feel so comfortable and confident! Autumn helped make the process of getting the wedding party and family together for photos seamless (hard to do with our peeps) lastly and I think most importantly autumn and Nick are GOOD people, their energies and spirits are so bright which i believe is most valuable, we can't thank her and Nick enough but I hope everyone I know books with them so we can keep seeing them at events!

I have been following her on social media for years, and I always admired how her photos felt so raw, emotional, and artistic. I knew that my wedding photos would be safe in her hands, and not only did her and Nick NOT disappoint, but they totally exceeded our expectations. The day of our wedding, our timeline did not go as planned, but Autumn and Nick remained so calm and patient and reassured me that they would get all of the shots we wanted.
