pulled up to the property we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself but the customer service we received throughout planning our wedding from the moment we picked our date through the end of our wedding weekend was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the venue manager, Zach and how he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, went smoothly and eased any of our concerns as they came up. We hired Eddie Blachura for our catering and Stephanie Yates for our day of coordinator per Zach’s recommendation and both of them were exceptional as well. Nearly a year later, many of our guests are still talking about our wedding. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making our dreams come true.

enue itself is beyond beautiful. It was very accommodating for a large wedding(or small), we had planned for upwards of 200 people and it worked out amazing. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the cabins are very cozy as well. We were getting compliments left and right about how beautiful the wedding and venue was. The best thing about this venue though, is ZACH!!! I hired a wedding planner, but he was like a second planner. He made you feel like family and really took care of any questions, concerns, or needs you have the entire stay. When i was stressing out he even gave me little pep talks and made sure my day went as planned. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding thanks to Zach and Atkinson Farms. Not only was he always available during the planning process, but day-of he was running around making sure everything went smoothly. And it did! The day was *perfect*. He even went so far as to heat up my husband and I's dinner plates because he noticed we hadn't eaten them yet due to visiting with guests. I cannot describe how *amazing* and *sweet* Zack is, you can tell he is truly passionate about his job and that he is invested in your perfect day. 10000/10!!!!

He was very responsive to all of my texts and emails and always had a solution or option for whenever I would get stuck in the wedding planning process. I was a covid bride and had to postpone the wedding twice. He was prepared and knew exactly how to handle all of the stress that came with planning a wedding during Covid. He allowed us to postpone our wedding date there without any extra charge and truly went above and beyond all of my expectations when it comes to a venue manager. I really felt as though he really cared about me getting my safe dream wedding! The venue is beautiful, absolutely a dream. It’s obvious the owners really care about the venue by how well kept the grounds are! I can’t believe something so amazing is located in Danville, VA! The bridal suite is the best bridal suite I have seen for a wedding venue and I love that the guys also have their own separate cabin to get ready in. So again, book this venue! Especially if you want your wedding to run smoothly and organized!! Zach knows the grounds and venue like the back of his hands and knows what flow works there and what doesn’t!

s weren’t getting any better. Zach at Atkinson Farms was so wonderful and accommodating and allowed us to move our date multiple times at no extra charge. He also reached out to our other vendors to see if they could accommodate our new date too which was super helpful and took the stress off of us. We ended up settling on a date for April 17, 2021 with hopes things would be back to normal. But since our families are out of state and covid is still around, we came to the final decision to just cancel. Zach went above and beyond to ensure that we got our full deposit back. It has been such a pleasure working with Zach and we are so sad we couldn’t have our dream wedding at Atkinson Farms. Also, since we had to cancel about two weeks out from our original date due to covid, we had everything in place and ready to go for our special day. Let me just say that the venue, scenery, bridal suite, grooms cabin, just everything about this place is absolutely beautiful! You will be missing out if you don’t have your wedding here! My husband and I plan on doing a vow renewal in the future and Atkinson Farms will be our go to venue! Thank you Zach for all your help and being so great to work with!

n Farms. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. Not only is it stunning and classy, but the service and interaction you receive is absolutely phenomenal and top notch. Zach Gibson, manager, went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process down to the day of and even the day after our wedding. From day one, he impressed me with his outstanding communication. He touch based with me as soon as I inquired about the venue and never broke communication since that day at all. He was very responsive to my million questions to put my mind at ease. Any question at all, you name it, and Zach was able to provide me with an answer or find out for me. My husband and I do not live in the area so most of the coordinating was done over the phone. He is very approachable and never made me feel like a bother when I contacted him for the 3rd or 4th time in a week. Zach was able to guide us through the process smoothly and provide recommendations for vendors in the area which took a lot of stress away from us (cake, photography, floral, catering, transportation, rentals, etc.) . He didn't just hand you a piece of paper with vendors names on it and say "good luck" like a lot of venues do. 90% of the time, he made contact with the vendors first to give me a better idea of pricing, etc. He was able to help me figure out and stay around our budget and make suggestions and recommendations along the way. This is more than a wedding venue; these people become lifelong friends. It is evident how much Zach truly cares about people and takes pride in what he does. He is so humble and you can tell he loves what he does. The landscape and grounds are kept immaculate and very clean. Zach works so hard day in and day out to ensure that this venue is in tip top shape. Without his help, I wouldn't have had the most dreamy, fairy tale wedding that brides dream about. Not only did he coordinate our wedding, but he has become a true friend that I will cherish forever. I cannot recommend this venue enough!! BOOK IT!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! My big day was an absolute dream come true and my guests are STILL talking about it.

He is more than happy to answer any questions you have, and he personally recommends local vendors (catering, DJ, hair/makeup, etc.), whom are all equally fantastic. The venue is very well maintained and has many conveniences that made the entire experience more than we could have ever imagined. The lodge next to the reception barn is truly amazing. It provided such a quiet, comfortable, and beautiful accommodation for before and after the wedding that we plan on coming back for a little get away. I would highly recommend this venue and guarantee you wont regret it.

Their attention to detail, professionalism and sincere caring about creating the perfect wedding was evident in every interaction we had with them. It was all about the bride and making sure nothing was left to chance. I honestly don’t know if I could say enough good things about them all, but what I can say is that they delivered, as a team, the most perfect weekend my family has ever had and have given our daughter the princess wedding she has always dreamed of. The grounds, lodge, cabin and barns are kept in immaculate condition. Zach made all the stress of the wedding coordination seem small as he answered every question we had. He genuinely cares about making the experience at Atkinson Farms all that it can be and stayed on hand until he knew everything was taken care of. He did so much to add to the experience that it is indescribable. Zach recommended Eddie Blachura and his team for the catering. If you have the chance to have Eddie cater an event, do it. Communication was key with Eddie. He wanted to make sure we were on the same page regarding expectations, food and service and is just a great guy to get to know. Besides that, the food was cooked to perfection and his experienced staff were some of the most professional servers I’ve ever experienced. Eddie made sure that every detail regarding the food and presentation of the meal was done to perfection. He genuinely cared about providing a night that no one would forget. 23, 2018. The grounds are immaculate and when the sun goes down, the scenery is truly breathtaking -- your guests will be amazed! Zach and Ed were professional, very friendly and assisted us along the way. They were always available, responded quickly when we had any questions, and was very communicative leading up to the wedding and the days after. Ed was at the property the morning of the wedding handling all of the logistics and made sure our wedding, reception and overnight stay were a huge success! We had over 250 guests including million-dollar business owners, company presidents, and a host of family and friends. The service they provided was incredible! The set up was top notch and the food was delicious, especially the crab balls and fried green tomatoes! The catering team’s serving ability was unmatched and the bartenders rocked. We also had fireworks which was the highlight of the evening!! Our guests have continuously commented on how beautiful the venue was and said we had one of the best weddings ever! and was unable to make the wedding. I decided to call down and see about how I might order a bottle of champagne for the bride and groom. I spoke with Zach who could not possibly have been more helpful. He let me know of a local liquor store that would allow me to give them a credit card over the phone. Zach then volunteered himself to go pick it up at the store and deliver to my friend's room. When I called the liquor store, Zach had already given them a heads up. They offered to gift wrap and include a personalized card for me. Zach texted me a few hours later to let me know that he had picked up and delivered the champagne. He did this, never having met me, and without any way for me to compensate him. He never asked me for anything, and seemed genuinely happy to help. With service like that for someone in New Jersey, I can't even imagine how well he takes care of guests that are actually there. Zach, I can't thank you enough for all of your help!! The lodge, which is incredibly roomy yet cozy at the same time, was a very comfortable place for the bride, bridesmaids and mothers to get ready, and even contributed to helping everyone feel relaxed. And we hear that the cabin was just right and a lot of fun for the men to prepare for the big day. Most importantly, however, were the people who helped us make this special day come to pass. Our first contact was with Zach who, from the beginning all the way to the final week of the wedding, was kind, helpful, friendly, and available for any and all of our needs and questions. Zach recommended Eddie to us for catering. We are so thrilled we had Eddie, and his great staff, to work with as he is more than a caterer. He went above and beyond our expectations with the delicious food, amazing service, and meeting more of our needs that we can count, being with us the entire wedding day.
