Renee and Marlee are the ABSOLUTE best wedding coordinators!! There are so many words I have to say, but I don’t know where to begin. They were my saving grace through my engagemen...
t and wedding day!!!
Renee met with my family, my husband, and I early on to help us with literally EVERY aspect of the wedding. She was present for meetings with me and Blake to understand exactly what we wanted and needed for our wedding. She was at the meetings with our vendors as well. Renee did all of the communication with vendors so that there was no logistical stress on me! She made an impressive timeline for the day of so that everything went smoothly. Marlee handled our hotel block which seemed to be quite the task!! They both were over the top responsive to every message and care and concern.
They both put the bride and groom in the forefront. Every wish we had for our wedding, was made a reality because of the communication and dedication to the task.
“Thank you” will never be enough for how much gratitude Blake and I have for the two of you. Our wedding would not have been what it was without your expertise. WE LOVE YOU!!!
The Knot does not give enough characters for all the praise Renee and Rhonda deserve. Every aspect of my wedding was because of them! They worked side by side with me for months pr...
oviding expertise and assistance with anything and everything I needed. They are professional, talented, and 100% FOR THE BRIDE (and groom). On the day of the wedding, they handled it all. Coordinating vendors, putting out any last minute fires, bustling my dress, you name it - they did it. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and it is all because of Atlanta Wedding Events.
Rena is SO amazing, and goes above and beyond for her brides and their entire families. She will take care of last minute emergencies and you won't even know of any problems that ...
occur on your day until the next day! Her priority is that her couples enjoy their wedding day stress-free and have a wonderful wedding experience, and she totally delivers on that fact. She is amazing at giving advice about other vendors, will give fun suggestions, and will provide resources and suggest other vendors that she has worked closely with which we were also very happy with. She worked amazingly well with our other vendors and venue staff. We were so lucky to have her support and help!! Cannot say enough about how great our experience was and would recommend her and her team highly.

of wedding coordinators. She goes over and beyond! Her entire team , including Lexi and Lisa, made my wedding day more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Three months before my wedding day, my venue called and said they would be under construction. Before hitting me this the terrible news and potentially throwing me into hectic mode, Renee and her team had a fix to the situation, and we were able to move the venue to an even NICER venue (the St. Regis in Atlanta) with upgraded liquor package and included transportation for the mishap on the first hotel. These people have become like family to me, and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any wedding!
I cannot even put into words everything that Atlanta Wedding Events did for my wedding! They took the vision that we had for the rehearsal dinner and wedding and ran with it...and ...
it was far better than I could have ever imagined. All of the other vendors were super impressed with the amazing job that AWE did - they said that the had never worked with anyone like Atlanta Wedding Events and hoped to work with them again in the future. Do yourself a huge favor and hire them!

erience for our guests and - most importantly - for us. They coached us through decisions, advocated for us with vendors, and - when our wedding day arrived - were there as guides to ensure it was everything we wanted it to be. They have such a passion for wedding planning. We highly recommend AWE to serve as your wedding planners no matter the size or complexity.

Renee and her team have become family to me. Our daily talks and emails were always something I looked forward to. Her smile is contagious and if you hit a bump in the wedding planning process she is right there to give you endless options. Whether you deal with budget issues, family drama, or the occasional unwanted guest, Renee handles everything with class.
Don't hesitate to get a wedding planner, folks. Well, to be more specific don't forget to get Atlanta Wedding Events. You can thank me later.
I can not say enough about the women of AWE. Especially, Renee-Plessy Smith. She is a pleasure to work with. As soon as my Daughter and I met her, we knew we were in good hands....
I believe Renee went above and beyond to make my Daughter's wedding exactly how she envisioned it. Without Renee and her team consisting of, Brenda and Lisa, I don't think we would have been able to accomplish such a beautiful affair. I would highly recommend them for that special day!!
