Caitlin and Meredith are THE BEST!!! Caitlin ran the show for our wedding and she was so thorough, organized and willing to accommodate any request! We organized our music, but gav...
e Caitlin creative freedom to "read the room" and she NAILED IT! The dance floor was busy all night long and everyone loved the sequence of music - a good mix of old, new, fast, slow, etc. Caitlin is extremely skilled and I especially loved having a female DJ team because as stated in their info section, Caitlin and Meredith truly have a higher emotional connection to the music AND they're so funny, fun and go with the flow of rowdy wedding guests! Love them and will definitely be using them for future events!
Caitlin was everything we wanted in a wedding DJ. Our wedding was in Portland, ME and we were planning from Dallas, TX so communication and ease were important to us in the process...
. Caitlin emailed back immediately each time we sent a message, was clear, and clearly very, very organized. She made the process so easy for us! We did several phone meetings with her, and she was exceedingly thoughtful and kind in addition to just being a really cool person. She provided us with an awesome timeline, was way early to the event, provided amazing uplighting, and organized the songs we really wanted played in a way better than we could ever have imagined. Additionally she helped us work out the flow of the speeches and other speaking we had at our reception. Sound equipment was crystal clear and perfect. We got the best comments on the music and flow of the event and we couldn't have been happier with her services. Thank you for making our reception perfect!
10000% the best hire I made - and I hired some amazing vendors! From our first interaction, she was cool, organized, and insightful. She pulled off the dance party of my dreams - ...
from classic rock to Blackstreet to Broadway - it flowed SO perfectly! She was equipped to play at my lakeside wedding, pavillion cocktail hour, and indoor reception. She checked in with me all night about what was happening next and kept the entire party on schedule and upbeat. She was the NUMBER ONE thing my guests talked about after the wedding! She even helped me pull of this crazy, three song reception entrane I came up with. If I could do it all again JUST to have Caitlin play music, I think I would! She tured my wedding into an absolute blast - EVERYONE from 22 to 82 was dancing away! Would not have done it any other way. My husband said he didn't know how we would have done it without her. Stop reading reviews and email her right now! You will aboslutely be thrilled with your choice. She is a total delight.

d help throughout the planning process. From our first meeting, to the numerous emails sent, to her interactive website, to the day of and beyond she is professional, responsive, intuitive, helpful, and an over all joy to work with. She offers everything you could want from in a professional wedding DJ and provided us and our guests with the experience we were looking for. All of our guests enjoyed the music as evidenced by some of our epic dance floor pictures : )
Caitlin was amazing! She perfectly interpreted our vague request for "jazz-ish music" during cocktail hour, and kept people dancing for hours after dinner. Guests from every gene...
ration heard at least one song that they loved and got them grooving on the dance floor. She even tracked down the traditional Greek dance music that we requested for a 20 minute interlude at the beginning of the party.
She did a fantastic job as a solid but understated master of ceremonies, guiding us through the events of the reception- announcing us, getting us through the first dance, having our parents say a few words- while keeping the focus on us.
We are so happy we chose her, and we'd do so again in a heartbeat!
Caitlin was incredible! She was amazing to work with and did such a great job reading the crowd. We had people on the dance floor the entire night. She even set up the microphones ...
for us to use during our ceremony and played music outside during our cocktail hour. We were worried about it being on the ocean and people not being able to hear and she made it happen seamlessly. I would highly recommend Atlantic Event Design to anyone looking for a DJ that will work with you to make your event a dance party everyone will remember.
We probably should have ordered a bigger dance floor...we wanted a fun dance party at our wedding reception and Caitlin VERY MUCH delivered!! One of our guests even said they had n...
ever seen so many people dancing for the whole reception!
We also appreciated that Caitlin was timely with both reminders and responses throughout the planning process. We had an outdoor ceremony and it meant so much to know she was taking care of the sound from pre-ceremony through the last song & send-off!
From the first to the last song, our wedding dance floor was full! I am so appreciative to Caitlin and Atlantic Event Design for being part of our wedding and making it a fun celeb...
ration. She made everything easy with the online planning tools (that allowed us to work on the event schedule and also the must/don't play lists) and the music throughout the ceremony and reception exceeded our expectations. I would highlight recommend Atlantic Event Design as they provide an organized plan, great quality for the price, good equipment (including microphones for the ceremony and speeches) and know how to read the room to keep the dance floor rolling.
We had such a great time at our wedding thanks in large part to Caitlin and her excellent taste in music. She was great to work with throughout the entire process and was able to t...
ake our somewhat unorganized vision for our wedding music and really brought it to life. I think Caitlin is really great at identifying the dancers in the room and playing music to keep them on the dance floor all night. I perhaps didn't mingle with family as much as I should have because I just had to dance to one more song!
Caitlin and Atlantic Event Design made our day so much fun and so easy! We planned our wedding from across the country, and as soon as we Facetimed with Caitlin, we knew she was th...
e right choice. Even through emails, her wonderful personality made us feel at ease. She organized our timeline superbly, which made the day flow perfectly. We never had to worry about if songs we chose would come on at the right time. She made a playlist that completely fit our vision for the day, and everyone loved rocking out to her music on the dance floor. We even asked her for the full playlist after the wedding, because she added music that fit so well with our taste. I would 100% recommend her services for your big day!
Caitlyn kept in touch throughout the preparation process for our wedding, and made sure to confirm that we were in the same page about the type of music we wanted. She included som...
e obscure songs we love and had a personalized playlist ready to go. She is awesome!
Caitlin/Atlantic Event Design was wonderful to work with for my niece's recent outdoor wedding. I completely recommend her services; you won't be disappointed! She had a wireless s...
et-up for the "field" ceremony (including mic so speakers and vows could be heard), then moved the setup to the outdoor cocktail area, just outside the barn where the reception would be and then had her full setup inside the barn for the reception. She worked closely with my niece on the music list, which included many alt & indie bands from the 80's through now. An excellent DJ makes all the difference for a fun and well run reception!
