I planned a destination wedding in Maine from Tennessee and it would not have been at all possible without the love, care, professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness of everyone at AO. Mallory worked with me for months via email answering all my questions and coordinating all the logistics that go into planning a wedding. We rented out the Willows Mansion for the wedding weekend and I 10/10 recommend. It felt like having a home for all of our friends and family to gather, especially since everyone travelled in for the wedding. From the moment we stepped on property every employee we interacted with went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and all of our guests raved about their experience. Not to mention the entire property was unbelievably gorgeous. In the days leading up to the wedding, Brie organised all the decor and coordinated every vendor. I didn’t have to do a thing or worry about anything. She executed my vision above my wildest expectations. Special shout out to Jennifer and Lew.
In a world where weddings often feel impossible to pull off, and there is a rhetoric of being overcharged to receive the bare minimum, the AO could not be any more different. They truly made this the wedding of my dreams!!!

Mallory, the catering sales manager, was nothing short of phenomenal, her warmth, precision, and genuine excitement made planning effortless and joyful. Lew, the superman of the property, seemed to be everywhere at once, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. Cleo, the sweetest housekeeper, along with so many other incredible staff members whose names I wish I could remember, made us feel so cared for.
The venue itself? Absolutely breathtaking. The views are unbeatable, the vibe is effortlessly elegant, and it gave us that dreamy destination feel. The Willows was the perfect home base for our family and bridal party, and it hosted our welcome party and rehearsal dinner beautifully.
We had the best day of our lives here. Truly. And now, Atlantic Oceanside Hotel holds a permanent place in our hearts. We’re already planning our annual trip back to relive every beautiful memory.

, Grounds Crews, and Service Staff... Everyone had big smiles on their faces all the time and truly were a dream team to work with. We stayed at the Willows, and I would recommend using the Willows to any bride and groom who are having their wedding at this venue. It was so nice to have events there and have our wedding parties and family stay there as well. We had our reception at the Willows, and it was truly so dreamy!
The food was fantastic. I received many compliments from our wedding guests regarding the entrees and appetizers. One of my cousins said, "This is the best wedding food I've ever had!"

The Willows was phenomenal in getting ready, having our wedding party and close friends staying there and having a central meeting place.
The grounds are well kept. There is always someone cleaning, taking care of the flowers and making the place spotless.
I had a wonderful time and an amazing wedding weekend. I have to say I attribute that to the amazing support staff!

details on having a wedding here. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Mallory was a great resource. She always answered our questions, helped with timeline planning, and organizing our vendors. We had the entire wedding (including rehearsal dinner) outside. Mallory and the team were so helpful in setting up the ceremony site (and later moving flowers to the tent), tables, our decorations, and bar for under the tent. She really helped to bring our vision to life. All of the servers and staff were so kind and made the day extra special. Set up and break down were very easy as well. Would 100% recommend renting the entire Willows as well. It is such a great space and truly made our weekend. If you are looking for a full service venue, this is the place. We highly recommend Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center for your wedding!

h is an old mansion converted into hotel on the property, and have essentially the whole bridal party stay there. We were able to use this space privately for rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour along with a gathering space for welcome party and after party from the wedding. I would like to add that the team here is essentially a full service team and you REALLY do not need a wedding planner when you book this venue. So please don’t waste your money on that! I would book this place a million times over again. It is also within walking distance from down town if you don’t mind a bit of a walk, but there are also buses that come and pick people up too. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!!!

are just coming off of our wedding weekend and are still in awe of how magical the weekend truly was. I was a Type A bride and didn't want to hire a wedding planner, nor did we have the budget for one. Enter Mallory, Atlantic Oceanside's Event and Catering Manager. Mallory was truly a lifesaver. Not only did she welcome us to the property several times in the course of our planning, she remained in constant communication with us and bent over backwards to ensure our wishes were not only met, but exceeded. The moment we stepped onto the resort grounds we were able to give the reins over to Mallory and relax. We also want to mention how much everyone loved Lou! He worked alongside Mallory to execute literally the most perfect wedding weekend we could ever have asked for. Their assisting staff were so friendly and worked tirelessly to move our large floral arrangements and manage our guests. And Chef John! My red meat eating husband ordered the chicken prosciutto... the food was AMAZING. From our Taste of Italy rehearsal dinner to the special birthday dinner (and cake) prepared for my niece - our guests couldn't get over how delicious (and aesthetically beautiful) everything was. We also wanted to give a shout out to the awesome mother and daughter bartending team! These lovely ladies executed our signature drinks flawlessly - they even added flower garnishes which everyone loved! Lastly, the property includes several different hotel buildings - which allows your bridal party to stay together in the Gorgeous Willows Mansion as well as allows your guests to choose a price point they are comfortable with - and a wonderful breakfast is included - which all our guests loved! We cannot thank the Atlantic Oceanside team enough for providing us with truly the most beautiful wedding weekend we could ever have dreamed of. The best part? Now we know where to go every year for our anniversary :)

friends & family stay at the Willows which is a beautiful 13 room mansion on site, and there are multiple additional buildings for guests to stay on site so you can have all your people in one place. The venue is oceanfront with views that can't be beat. Most importantly Mallory and the rest of the catering/coordinator team are incredible. They were so accommodating, friendly, and took all the last minute stressors off my plate. The weather wasn't perfect on our day and Mallory helped make sure I still got my dream wedding. Lastly, the food was so so good, my guests are still talking about it. If I had to do it all again I would definitely choose this venue!

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and the Canadian border not opening, our guest list was cut in half and Renee was very flexible and accommodating with these last minute changes. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and every guest room has a view of the ocean which is incredible! Our guests were absolutely blown away with the hotel, event center and how kind and friendly every single staff member was during our stay.
Both Renee and Chef John were very accommodating with dietary needs/allergies (I have a few and so did my guests), and Chef John was able to make a majority of our reception meal gluten and dairy free. Our guests had no idea and were raving about how amazing the food was! Overall, I would highly recommend this location for your upcoming nuptials. My husband and I cannot wait to return every year for our anniversary!

the venue and the staff. Everything was perfect, from the rehearsal dinner to space set up to the ceremony and finally the reception. By having the facilities to accommodate all parts of the weekend, my guests did not have to stress out about going anywhere if they did not feel the need to. My husband and I hosted a small wedding, under 50, and everything felt very personalized. I could go on and on about how wonderful this venue is and how special they make you feel, but I will say it with one statement. There is no other place in Bar Harbor, Maine that could have helped me to create my perfect day.

Atlantic Oceanside Hotel was a fantastic place to have our wedding! We live in NJ, so ours was a bit of a destination wedding, and the hotel and its sister motels across the street...
easily accommodated our 90+ guests, so no one had to drive anywhere once they arrived. Also, set in the great town of Bar Harbor (shopping, seafood, picturesque) with Acadia National Park right down the street, our guests had plenty more to enjoy than the wedding festivities, making it a memorable trip for everyone. The setting of the venue is so beautiful, from the floating sailboats in the bay to the beautiful 100 year old Willows Mansion on the grounds. The Willows is a truly unique and beautiful part of this, and what really helped us decide this was the place for us. We booked it out for Friday and Saturday of our wedding weekend, and it was so fun to have the place to ourselves, including for the after party both nights!!
PJ, the event coordinator, and Dede the sales director really were great to work with during planning and execution! We did lots of emailing over the year. We also drove to Maine for a few meetings where we talked over every detail exhaustively, and they were always prepared as well as enthusiastic about our wedding, and all that planning and backup planning meant the day of my wedding was perfect! We had the salon come to us in the bridal suite, plenty of room for 10 ladies to get beautiful and drink mimosas and generally relax and enjoy the day, knowing everything was in good hands. Our ceremony was outside and so beautiful, then the rain had us unable to use the tent on the lawn as we hoped, but the indoors reception was really fantastic anyway! When little bumps came along (no "eye" for the hook and eye part of my dress 😳, etc) PJ was always right there to help us problem solve.
We and our guests had a wonderful, wonderful wedding, from planning, to fun barbecue outdoors welcome dinner, to our happy and elegant wedding day, to a yummy brunch in the Willows Sunday morning to send everyone off happy and with full bellies - rave reviews from our guests and blissful bride and groom at the end of the weekend!

n, and level of attention that Lauren Annaldo, and the rest of the staff, provided us. Lauren was very responsive with our endless stream of emails and was always willing to work with us. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and were welcomed to Happy Anniversary cards and gifts from the staff. This just shows the level of attention you will receive at Atlantic Oceanside.
You cannot go wrong with the location as well. We used the 100+ year old Willows Mansion for the bridal party. Because we were able to fill up the Willows we also used this beautiful and historic building for our rehearsal dinner and our cocktail reception. While my bride and her bridesmaids spent the majority of our wedding day getting ready in the penthouse suite overlooking the bay, my party turned the 2 adjoining rooms into a full bar! We spent the day exploring around Acadia, swimming (in the pool and jumping off the dock into the bay), and just enjoying the day! (Full disclosure: the dock is not for swimming. Scenic boat tours only. Which is also fun!!)
So do your bride a favor and check out Atlantic Oceanside for your destination wedding! You, your bride, and your guest will be very happy. And remember guys, “Happy Wife = Happy Life”!

Lauren Annaldo was a dream to work with, she was extremely attentive answered all our questions and made sure we were up to date with anything going on. The venue did all the decorating and decoration take down for us (and it was beautiful!!) and it was wonderful to have a place where our Rehearsal dinner, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception, and overnight stay was all at the same location! All our guests kept telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been too!! So if you are considering this venue I would 100% say please check it out as our wedding went flawlessly and ever Bride & Groom should be able to experience such a perfect Wedding Venue!! f vacation in Bar Harbor with my family, it just seemed an obvious choice to bring our two families together at this fabulous location. Everyone at the Atlantic Oceanside was a huge help but Lauren Annaldo was the biggest help of all. Lauren put so much time and effort into helping make sure everything I envisioned for the day came together and I am so grateful I had someone like her to work with. We chose to have our wedding on Memorial Day weekend and took over the Willows Mansion from Thursday night to Sunday. I couldn't have imagined it to work out as perfectly as it did! We were able to spend so much more time with our guests as they made their way to the mansion. It was as if we were welcome everyone to our home and had such an intimate feeling to it. The food was absolutely amazing! We have yet to hear of a complaint from anyone except they wished they could have chosen multiple entrees! The location and scenery of the property just can not be beat! We are already planning a return trip to the Atlantic Oceanside and are looking forward to spending many anniversaries at the place that is so near and dear to our hearts. The ceremony location is beautiful with the gazebo and ocean background. We also didn't see the location until the rehearsal but it was even better than I had imagined! The reception location in the event center was all set up just as I imagined without me lifting a finger the day of.
Our guests are still talking about the beautiful location and incredible food we had served. We would highly recommend this location to any couple for a ideal wedding location!

to just the beauty of the location. Lauren, the catering sales manager, worked with us from day one and was nothing short of spectacular. She worked her tail off to make sure our day was perfect. The food was amazing. Not only did it taste delicious but the presentation was beautiful. We utilized The Willows mansion for our day and it was best decision we ever made. She was energetic, cheery, cordial to even the most challenging guests and bent over to create the magical weekend. We are convinced she was the master behind us exceeding all expectations for our series of events. Most of our interactions were with Lauren, however the few exposures we had to additional staff went very well also. They were polite and very interested in the quality of their work. The overall flavor seemed to be conducive to making things easier for all of us. We were impressed with the property itself. The views and rooms are nothing short of spectacular. We rented out the Willows Mansion for our exclusive use and would recommend larger parties consider that. The privacy and property resources were excellent. The gardens, tents, lighting, etc were done very well to create the atmosphere such an impressive property requires. All of our food was tremendous. The staff were like magic genies taking care of our needs with serving, cleaning up, decorating. The chef did an excellent job on presentation, preparation and timeliness and keeping foods hot/cold as appropriate. We cannot say enough of how truly remarkable our experiences were. We encourage anyone considering hosting a special event to take a look at Atlantic Oceanside.

en Annaldo, the Catering Sales Manager at the Oceanside, who did in excellent job organizing and taking the stress completely off the bride. The wedding day was beautiful, as the Oceanside grounds are beautifully landscaped with flowers, natural rock walls, and stone pathways, which all simply enhance the vast ocean and rocky shore that backdrops behind the hotel. The Willows, the antique, historical mansion that consists of 13 large rooms/suites for guests, as well as a first floor living/parlor style rooms, was what we had rented for the family to stay in over the weekend, and also what we used for the cocktail hour after the gorgeous outdoor ceremony. This house was amazingly beautiful with the detailed architecture and design, along with the patio and several balconies that drape out over the water. Our family had the time of their lives in this beautiful house, and the cocktail hour could not have been more perfect- with the indoor/outdoor feel, bistro tables, and the romantic/antique flare of the willows gave it a perfect ambiance. The reception was held in the event center on the Oceanside campus, which gave the guests a chance to anticipate a new location, just a walk up the hill. This has a unique porch and staircase to enter to the reception area, which was elegant and spacious for our 130+ guests. The food was delicious, and catered to our budget thanks to the chef, Sanjeeva. The flow of the night, set up, and staff was all executed with out a hitch, and I felt very at ease and comfortable with how professional and organized they cater to these events- a seasoned veteran, but flexible and open to new ideas and suggestions. The Oceanside is amazing and we have no regrets with our choice. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories we will never forget!

We used the Atlantic Oceanside for our reception in late September 2010. They recently underwent some management changes - for the better! The wedding coordinators were phenomenal ...
and very responsive to our needs for the reception. The food was delicious and everything about the reception went smoothly. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it.
