Our venue was a little tricky with multiple different settings throughout the wedding, but they ensured everything went smoothly. AV/mic issues can really kill the vibe but we had 0 issues as they were clearly confident and experienced in their work. Carley and Nick were also great to work with on the admin side and made sure to account for every detail. Book with Atlantic Shake, the dance floor won't be empty for a single second!! it all.  They were so accommodating to our requests prior to the wedding, and when the band kicked off the night, there wasn’t a single person sitting at a table instead of dancing until the end of the last song. Now, it’s the first thing our guests compliment us on when they talk about our wedding! As someone who works in the music industry myself, I was completely blown away!

We had 2-3 meetings from booking them up to the week of the wedding that made sure all timelines and wants were covered. 5 stars to the band being able to adapt to the situation quickly. Our timeline ran a little bit later than we had expected but they were prepared with everything from extra songs on the playlist for cocktail hour/dinner and they waited until we were ready to go to get the party started and what a party it was. The dance floor was never empty and we had too many positive reviews from family and friends to count. I'm pretty sure they learned a whole new song for us that we requested as well which shows you the dedication! Huge shoutout to Carley who so on top of everything and seemed just as excited for our wedding as we were. Without a doubt the best decision we made for our wedding!

They made sure that they got all the details to make sure our day would be perfect, which it was!  Carley was very thorough in our pre event meetings from songs choices, to timeline of the night, to correct pronunciation of names (super important when both families names are notoriously messed up) and always with such a fun positive attitude The band itself was incredible! Everyone is super talented and really wowed us and all our guests. And of course SEAN! That man knows how to keep a party going and keep the room entertained. He’s so full of energy and brought such a fun atmosphere to the party. Thinking about having a second wedding just to have an excuse to hire them again. Can’t recommend enough!

anted our wedding to be a party so we made the commitment and went with Atlantic Shake because they looked like they knew to how throw a party. We felt good about our decison to but there were still some nerves, most wedding band you can’t see live before hand so you are really making a decison based off videos and previous reviews.  From our first meeting, we knew we made the right decision. Nick and Carley were warm, professional, organized and we always looked forward to our meetings with them. A lot of wedding planning can feel like a chore but it never felt that way with Nick and Carley.  On the day of, Atlantic Shake nailed every detail from ceremony music to the cocktail hour vibes but it was all leading up to the real show, the reception. It was clear with Shawn that we had more than a lead singer, we had a showmen. The real life Jack Black from School of Rock, people were raving about his performance all night. We loved their punk rock take of the Horah and they felt like real members of the tribe. When you pay for a wedding band you are paying for an experience and nobody brings a better experience than Atlantic Shake. For the rest of our lives we will cherish the memories of singing, dancing and partying with all of our families and friends.

The bass was HUGE the drums were POWERFUL the guitar tone was UNBELIEVABLE and every patch, sample, and key played by Chris, was as good, if not better, than the record they were covering When it comes to bringing families and friends together to celebrate love, Sean is without peers. A once in a generation talent that every one of our guests are still raving about. He kept everyone engaged and entertained the whole night. We’d pay to see this band in concert time and time again. Rebecca and Nick took great care of us! They made sure we were supported through the entire process. Helped with song recommendations and timeline suggestions to make it the perfect experience for us and our guests. We had planning meetings along the way and any email was responded to within 24 hours but usually even sooner. You can tell how passionate they are making this process as easy as possible for the bride and groom. We sent our first dance song to Nick and he edited it to perfection. Now for the day of, this band absolutely crushed it. The energy and the experience they provided was unlike anything I’ve ever been part of. They were on the dance floor with us singing their hearts out. Our guests couldn’t believe how great they were and it was all they could talk about the next day. Rebecca and Nick really hyped the band up, and somehow they still exceeded our expectations. We could not have been happier to have chosen them for our band on our special day!

We didn’t have to stress about choosing live or DJ music for the ceremony or cocktail hour upfront, it was already included in the pricing along with microphones for us and the officiant during the ceremony. And then, on the day of, the band absolutely crushed it! Sean’s MC skills were off the charts. He helped us nail our entrance, and the energy he brought was incredible. We specifically chose a band because we didn’t want the typical DJ vibe, and Sean nailed that balance of hyping up our guests without the cheesy DJ feel. We can’t even count how many guests came up to us raving about how amazing the band was. They kept the dance floor packed all night, playing a perfect mix of the genres we love while also reading the room and creating the perfect party atmosphere. Their energy, talent, and ability to keep the vibe going was just next level. They also made us a highlight reel of our wedding day which was such an amazing surprise, especially because we didn't have a videographer. If you want your wedding to be an absolute blast and unforgettable for everyone, you need Atlantic Shake. They are simply the best!!!

They learned the acoustic version of our processional song, made a custom mix of our recessional, and were even able to accommodate the exact moment of a song for our introduction to the reception. Not only did Rebecca and Nick exhibit unmatched attention to detail for our entertainment needs, but they also used their organization and expertise to support our overall planning process. Their honest and detailed notes set expectations early which were instrumental in helping us plan the timeline of our day. They were patient and accommodating with our questions, needs, and requests. Communication was clear and frequent, and we always felt like a priority. ...AND THE BAND. During the reception, the musicians were incredibly talented, friendly, and fun! Singer/MC extraordinaire Sean was vibrant, energetic, and dynamic. He easily connected and communicated with us and our party for any dances and introductions. We were very impressed and thankful for his ability to stick to our timeline and keep the night running smoothly. It was incredible to see how the band read the energy of the room, played with and off of our guests, and welcomed everyone to the party by being part of the crowd. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about this band, and how they really made the night one to remember.
