Atlantic Shake

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I know everyone says their band was the best, but truly Atlantic Shake was the best band we could’ve ever hoped for! From the beginning, Rebecca and Nick took great care of us! They made sure we were supported through the entire process. Helped with song recommendations and timeline suggestions to make it the perfect experience for us and our guests. We had planning meetings along the way and any email was responded to within 24 hours but usually even sooner. You can tell how passionate they are making this process as easy as possible for the bride and groom. We sent our first dance song to Nick and he edited it to perfection. Now for the day of, this band absolutely crushed it. The energy and the experience they provided was unlike anything I’ve ever been part of. They were on the dance floor with us singing their hearts out. Our guests couldn’t believe how great they were and it was all they could talk about the next day. Rebecca and Nick really hyped the band up, and somehow they still exceeded our expectations. We could not have been happier to have chosen them for our band on our special day!

Atlantic Shake was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the moment we connected with Nick and Rebecca, everything felt effortless and exciting. They weren’t just “vendors", they truly cared about getting to know us as a couple and made the whole process such a joy. Every Zoom meeting was easy to schedule, and they walked us through every step, from song selections to event flow, in a way that felt fun and stress-free. The all-inclusive service they offer was a huge plus. We didn’t have to stress about choosing live or DJ music for the ceremony or cocktail hour upfront, it was already included in the pricing along with microphones for us and the officiant during the ceremony. And then, on the day of, the band absolutely crushed it! Sean’s MC skills were off the charts. He helped us nail our entrance, and the energy he brought was incredible. We specifically chose a band because we didn’t want the typical DJ vibe, and Sean nailed that balance of hyping up our guests without the cheesy DJ feel. We can’t even count how many guests came up to us raving about how amazing the band was. They kept the dance floor packed all night, playing a perfect mix of the genres we love while also reading the room and creating the perfect party atmosphere. Their energy, talent, and ability to keep the vibe going was just next level. They also made us a highlight reel of our wedding day which was such an amazing surprise, especially because we didn't have a videographer. If you want your wedding to be an absolute blast and unforgettable for everyone, you need Atlantic Shake. They are simply the best!!!

Atlantic Shake was the best wedding band we could have possibly asked for. The dance floor was packed all night and they brought so much energy. All of our guests had an amazing time and were blown away by how talented the band was. Rebecca and Nick were amazing to work with - super helpful and responsive from our first intro call all the way through day of. We couldn't possibly recommend Atlantic Shake enough.

Atlantic Shake absolutely brought the energy that made our wedding day so special! They were amazing to work with form beginning to end, and our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun they made the night. Atlantic Shake was absolutely incredible and exceeded even our wildest expectations. We wanted a ton of dancing for our wedding reception and oh man, did they ever deliver. They brought a level of energy to the party that we would have never imagined, getting not only our Millennial-aged friends on the dance floor but also our aunts and uncles and young nieces and nephews who don't always let loose at weddings. Not only that, but they were extremely professional and made us feel confident and secure through the whole process. They took care of so many things for us, playing live and recorded music as needed throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They accommodated every request we had and even learned a couple of songs for us (which were ENORMOUS hits). We would absolutely recommend Atlantic Shake to literally anyone, and especially if you want to bring some life to your party! We love you guys, thank you so so much for making our special day unforgettable!!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Atlantic Shake! From planning to execution, they were everything we were looking for in a wedding band (and more!) We quickly learned that they were the right fit for us after one conversation with Nick and Rebecca. Atlantic Shake's ability to offer us an all-in-one package gave us the freedom and flexibility to choose how we wanted to curate the music for our day without any hidden costs. In addition to offering multiple mediums for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Atlantic Shake also took the time and care to personalize our day and bring our music vision to life. They learned the acoustic version of our processional song, made a custom mix of our recessional, and were even able to accommodate the exact moment of a song for our introduction to the reception. To say Atlantic Shake went above and beyond for us is a drastic understatement. Not only did Rebecca and Nick exhibit unmatched attention to detail for our entertainment needs, but they also used their organization and expertise to support our overall planning process. Their honest and detailed notes set expectations early which were instrumental in helping us plan the timeline of our day. They were patient and accommodating with our questions, needs, and requests. Communication was clear and frequent, and we always felt like a priority. ...AND THE BAND. During the reception, the musicians were incredibly talented, friendly, and fun! Singer/MC extraordinaire Sean was vibrant, energetic, and dynamic. He easily connected and communicated with us and our party for any dances and introductions. We were very impressed and thankful for his ability to stick to our timeline and keep the night running smoothly. It was incredible to see how the band read the energy of the room, played with and off of our guests, and welcomed everyone to the party by being part of the crowd. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about this band, and how they really made the night one to remember. Atlantic Shake was everything! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Rebecca and Nick were very communicative and made sure we knew exactly what to expect for the timeline of the day. We had a particular taste in music and they did an amazing job giving us the space to add the personal touches we were hoping for! On the wedding day, the band was incredible. Seriously, no words for the energy and love they brought! Our guests can’t stop talking about them and we won’t be able to either for a very long time. They exceeded every single one of our expectations. Highly recommend!

We had the best night of our lives at our wedding, no question. Atlantic Shake was the most important vendor at our wedding and we are so grateful we hired them. From Sean‘s MC skills, to him and Sara having amazing vocal ability and crowd engagement, they had the whole wedding audience on their feet the entire time. Cooper, Cameron, Chris and Paul’s rhythm section energy was immense - this band knows what they are doing. Rebecca and Nick made the planning process so simple and they gave great advice to making our weekend as seamless as possible. Under their leadership this band can handle anything you need. Don’t waste your time looking for another group…this is one!

Atlantic Shake was the highlight of our big day! The band killed it and had everybody on the dance floor! The whole band was awesome and certainly lived up to the hype! Our wedding day simply would not have been the same without Atlantic Shake! Reliving our wedding weekend, so many of our friends and family let us know it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to and we have Atlantic Shake to thank for that! Their talent even drew people to the dance floor who would typically avoid the dance floor! Their energy was absolutely electric and nobody wanted the night to end. Their management team is also seamless and makes the wedding planning process personal, fun and genuine, which was absolutely not forgotten. Ten out of ten.

Atlantic Shake was perfect!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this band. They are all so talented and everyone was impressed! The live musicians added a magical and personal touch for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The MC and the band had high energy that got everyone excited and out on the dance floor. I love that the band interacted with all the guests. It felt like you were a part of their performance in such a fun way. Their managers had open and clear communication, which made them so easy to work with. They wanted to make sure they understood your do's and don'ts so that the set list was exactly what you wanted. Overall, the band was perfect, and management was an absolute delight. Everyone at the wedding at an absolute blast and it was all thanks to Atlantic Shake!

We saw Atlantic shake at a bar 2 years ago and DMd them on Instagram that night asking if they play weddings! 2 years later, we had the BEST night of our lives with them at our wedding! EVERY person was on the dance floor. They bring the energy, the good vibes, and the best vocals. Not to mention, so organized, professional, and made planning a piece of cake every step of the way. Forever their biggest fans!!! 10/10 wedding band, could not recommend them enough!

Atlantic Shake was amazing! We didn't have a wedding coordinator but the band kept our wedding flowing and on-time. Sean brought the energy as a great MC and the band sounded awesome with every song they played. The dance floor was packed the whole night. I didn't think I'd be crowd surfing at my wedding, but Atlantic Shake was just that good.

Atlantic Shake was amazing! Our guests absolutely loved the music and energy that they brought to our special day. The singers kept it fun and engaging throughout the night. Everyone was kind and professional and the event went perfectly. An additional big shout out to Everluxe entertainment who provided the band. Nick and Rebecca were a pleasure to work with, helpful and organized. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

I cannot recommend Atlantic Shake enough. Prior to the actual event, their management team went above and beyond walking us through every single detail and make us feel comfortable about everything. Their level of professionalism, organization, and just general friendliness/humor was incredible. The band itself set the dance floor on fire! Everyone in attendance was so impressed by their talent and energy. They did a great job understanding the kind of vibe we wanted and even learned songs that we requested they play. The MC was fantastic and worked with us when a few things had to be switched around at the last minute. Hire them for your wedding!! You will not be disappointed.

A live band was one of the items we were willing to splurge a bit on for our wedding, and oh boy Atlantic Shake did NOT disappoint. Starting with the planning process, we were incredibly impressed by the management team (Nick & Rebecca). Rarely did I have to wait more than a few hours for a response (more often than not they were reaching out to us first), and they were incredibly helpful in providing input for how to shape the reception flow, set list, etc. I would easily consider them one of our most prepared and organized vendors. The band itself was a BLAST, not to mention an excellent MC. They did a fantastic job of hyping up the crowd and adapting to what was happening in the moment; for example, when one of our uncles decided he was going to enthusiastically raise a chair in celebration, "chair guy" was officially named and became a running joke called out by the band throughout the evening. A talented group of musicians, and I appreciated the way they came off the stage and down onto the dance floor throughout the evening. Highly recommend!

Atlantic Shake was a phenomenal wedding band! Their management team Rebecca and Nick were thorough in the planning process and were easy to collaborate with. Without even speaking to Sean (one of the lead singers) prior to our wedding he had the timeline down to perfection during our reception. They were well equipped, energetic, and very talented. Highly recommend!

Atlantic Shake was absolutely unreal - the band itself was incredibly talented and the music was amazing, but even beyond that, the organization, meetings, coordination, and all Atlantic Shake members were so helpful, understanding, attentive, and supportive. The emceeing made the whole night go smoothly and kept everything exciting and fun. The ability to curate your wedding music to exactly what you want (e.g. full band for reception but acoustic guitar only for cocktail hour, etc) was so lovely. We cannot speak more highly of the whole crew. We looked forward to our meetings with the team in the months leading up to the wedding and had so much fun talking through ideas with them. They offered appropriate opinions and advice when requested to help guide our decisions and preferences using their experience. We wish we could give them 10 stars and would recommend Atlantic Shake to everyone!

Hiring Atlantic Shake was hands down the best wedding decision we made. Rebecca was great at detailing our event, hearing our wants/needs, and relaying them to the band. The band was on time, professional and in sync with our event. Shawn is an amazing MC and singer, he kept our guests entertained and on their feet all night long. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Atlantic Shake played for my August 2023 wedding and all I can say is "WOW." They lit up the dance floor, playing so many great tunes and ensuring our guests danced the night away. The band was the most important part of the wedding for us, and I’m soooo happy we chose Atlantic Shake! Working with Nick and Rebecca made everything really easy and fun. They were so helpful and went above and beyond to make planning a great experience. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor and how talented the musicians were. My son and now daughter in law wanted a live band for their wedding reception. I am not sure how they found Atlantic Shake but it was the best part of the reception. The band and Sean the lead singer kept the program moving along smoothly. There was so much fun, energy and dancing. Well worth it to hire Atlantic Shake we did the mid price level. The Sound Technician is consistenly monitoring the sound and refining it. All ages enjoyed dancing to Atlantic Shake!

Atlantic Shake was amazing! All musicians are VERY talented and we had many friends and family make comments about how impressed they were with the band's skills. Their song repertoire is extensive and they really knew how to play to the crowd based on the energy of the room. They were also extremely good communicators throughout the entire process - they answered all of our questions and were always available to talk on the phone with any detail. Highly recommend!!!

We had a few meetings with a handful of wedding bands, but ultimatley we chose Atlantic Shake. I'm so glad we did! Rebecca and Nick, the managers of the band, were so fun and easy to work with. I didn't really know what to expect going into this but they made the music our favorite part of planning! On our wedding day, the band did not disappoint. They played all the genres we requested and even more. The whole night was just incredible and our guests can't stop talking about the dance floor. You guys crushed it!

Atlantic Shake was hands down the best band I've ever experienced at a wedding -- and we still have so many of our guests telling us the same thing 2 weeks after our wedding. Our dance floor was absolutely electric, and the crowd did not want to leave even after Atlantic Shake's encore performance. Not only did they *make* the party at our reception (and took care of the dance floor lighting!), but they also provided live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. And the band managers themselves, Nick and Rebecca, were hugely helpful in the entire planning process -- Chris and I left every call more energized and excited for our wedding than when we'd started (which was definitely not a typical experience for vendor calls leading up to the wedding!). Could not recommend them more highly!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to book Atlantic Shake for our wedding. These guys and girl are AMAZING vocalists and musicians….I guarantee your guests will be seriously impressed! They played a nice variety of styles, including some classics for our older guests and more modern artists for us and our friends. We also have to give a BIG shout-out to their managers, Rebecca and Nick, who met with us several times to iron out all the details of our non-traditional wedding. They definitely gave us peace of mind throughout the process and actually made it fun! I would recommend Atlantic Shake to anyone looking for a really great band with an experienced team behind them!

My husband and I fell in love with Atlantic Shake after seeing them perform live at our favorite spot in Portsmouth. I reached out to book them for our wedding the very next day! Their management team got back to us quickly and we were on a Zoom meeting with them soon after. Their packages are super easy to understand and there aren’t any hidden fees or add-on charges, which made it a really easy choice! We loved working with their managers, Nick and Rebecca, and always felt like our wedding was in good hands with them! The band rocked the house like we knew they would and we got SO many compliments about them! Thank you!

Atlantic Shake put on an incredible performance at our wedding! Every person in the band is extremely talented and they kept the party going the whole time.
