Oh wow, Hey There!!! Thank you for checking out my business page!! My name is Monica, and I am the owner of Atlas Photography. It is an honor for me to be with you through your planning process as well as during one of the most important days of your lives. Whether you are eloping at a courthouse or putting on a full sha-bang, I am here for it.
"What is your style?" It is important that my style of photography will fit your expectations and hopes for the final product. These are your forever photos, of course! My style is timeless and as true to real color as I can get while still making your skin look bright and flawless. I lean away from trendy styles in photography because trends change, and I want you to look at these photos 2 years from now, 10 years, even 50 years and still feel like they are as beautiful and timeless as when we first took them.
"What about posing us?" I could not tell you which is my favorite: posed and smile or 100% candid. They both are wonderful, and I believe they are both important to have a well rounded photoshoot and wedding album. So if you don't specify a preference over one or the other, your album will have a healthy mix of both of those types of photos.
You will also see this in my portfolios.
As far as posing you and yours, I will pose and prompt you in different ways to get some amazing photos, but I also rely on the chemistry and love between the two of you to make those poses really shine to their fullest potential. Before that scares off some of you!!!! ...I truly believe that if I create a safe, comfortable space for the two of you to do that, it happens so naturally without you even thinking about it. That's what creates exceptional moments and photos. Even if you think you are "bad in front of a camera" I promise you aren't. :)
"What kind of packages/services do you offer?" I am so glad you asked! Sometimes people really just want the package details but sometimes they want more or less than what each one offers. I am FLEXIBLE with my packages and even offer an "Additional Items" list (like an Side Menu if you will) for you to add on to my basic packages. You want a leather bound wedding album? Absolutely. Second Photographer? Yup. Engagement session? Of course! I want you to get everything that you are hoping for and not be confined to what I've put together in a package.
