ar with bands or really any vendors in CNY. We learned about Atlas the Band on The Knot and after inquiring quickly received a reply. John, the band manager was incredibly communicative, open to our ideas and truly made the planning experience much easier. John provided us with a list of their public shows and while we were unable to attend any of them, we took a risk and booked them for our wedding based on their YouTube videos. It’s been a little more a month now and our wedding guests are still raving about the band every time we talk. Their set list was a huge hit, covering songs for all ages which easily explained why the dance floor was packed the entire night. Atlas the Band took our custom ideas for our ceremony and reception music and provided a performance that was better than we could have ever imagined. was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Firstly, John and the whole band were so amazing to work with leading up to and during the wedding. They helped us plan out the flow of events during the reception and made sure the set list matched our vibe. They had a wide range of song types, era, genres they could play and we also were able to play some more modern "DJ'ed music during their breaks so it was a great mix. Working with John leading up to the wedding made us 100% confident that everything would be great. During the wedding itself, it's really hard to describe how awesome the band was! The whole band is incredibly talented, and they knew exactly what to play to get everyone on the dance floor. The vibe was SO MUCH FUN and everyone was on the dance floor the entire time. They were also super engaging with the crowd, singing with our guests and joining the dance floor at times. We all danced and sang the literally the entire time they were on. I can genuinely say that having Atlas play was the #1 factor in how fun our wedding was. We had SO many people come up to us during/after the wedding saying it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to (I think in great part thanks to Atlas) and asking where on earth did we find such an amazing band!! Everyone was seriously so blown away by Atlas and could NOT stop talking about how great they were and how fun the dance floor was. In my opinion, flowers, elaborate decorations, cute favors, etc are NOT what makes a wedding memorable. In a few weeks/months/years no one (bride and groom included) will remember those details BUT they will remember how much fun they had and how they felt. If you're considering a DJ vs a Band vs other ways to allocate your wedding budget, I HIGHLY recommend putting your money toward Atlas if you can get them, because you will be guaranteed to have a fun and memorable wedding! If you're deciding between bands, check out their youtube and reviews, and take it from me as someone who did hours of research every band/DJ in CNY, they really are the best :)

e up to all of our expectations. Atlas’s keyboardist performed for our ceremony and he was terrific. The band may focus more on R&B, pop, and the like, but he was just as comfortable performing classical piano for our ceremony. We were so happy with his contribution to the event. As far as the main event, we had watched videos of Atlas prior to hiring them, but they blew us away. From Michael Jackson to Dua Lipa to Chicago, they nailed every song that they played, and our guests could not believe how amazing they were. 6 months later, the first thing everyone says when mentioning our wedding is that they’ve never been to a wedding with a better band. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night and truly made it the perfect night for us. Even beyond their talent musically, they were extremely professional and went above and beyond with the little things. When we were struggling to decide whether to do our ceremony indoors or outside due to weather, they were patient and worked with us. They also did longer sets than they needed to do to keep the party going when things got delayed. We could not recommend Atlas more highly. They’re so good that we’ll be trying to see them live again next time we’re back in the Finger Lakes. Definitely make them a part of your perfect day!

We've followed the band for many years and immediately sought them out as our must have for the wedding reception! If you can book Atlas, do it! They will not disappoint!

Their energy is unmatchable and you can tell that they have such an incredible time playing together and love what they do. Every guest who has commented on our wedding has told us how amazing our band was and my coworkers all want to hire them for a company event. People who I’ve never seen dance at other weddings were jamming so hard at ours. We asked Atlas the week before the wedding if they happened to know a song that my dad and I were dancing to, because we thought it would be great for them to play certain parts of it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t something on their set list… but the day of, they joined in the exact part I had dreamed of and played along to amp up the vibe (mine and my dad’s goal was to get everyone to join in dancing and Atlas understood the assignment!!). It was so fun and perfect. I simultaneously cry and bop along to the music in any cell phone video recordings because they’re just so dang good. They also last minute jumped in to help us with our ceremony sound because we never realized our venue wasn’t taking care of that! John and the rest of the band were very chill and easy to work with. The only feedback we’d give them is to just lay out a timeline of when the couple should be contacting them or reaching out to plan. We didn’t know what to expect so when the rest of our vendors were contacting us 1-2 months before the wedding, we were worried when we weren’t hearing from Atlas (there were a few times the response time could have been better, but we knew Atlas knew exactly what they were doing, so we weren’t too worried). Would 100% recommend Atlas to anyone and I so so hope we get to attend another wedding or event that they’re playing at!

absolutely blew the roof off the place. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. They have an incredible energy on stage, sound amazing, and got everyone shaking their booties. Lol it was so good that when they finished their last song people started chanting for an encore and they delivered! We still have people to this day tell us how incredible the band was and how much fun they had that night. When looking into the entertainment we were considering a DJ at 1st. We both had been to a couple weddings with live music and those ones were always a step above the others. We were worried it was going to be too much additional stuff to plan and a hit to our budget. Atlas was very reasonably priced for everything they provide and was beyond worth it. Communication was great, they were in contact with us every step of the way from the initial quote conversations to after the wedding. We were able to provide a list of songs we wanted to hear played and I believe they knew everyone. They were very responsive and receptive to input on how we wanted the timeline to flow, so we had little to no stress on this portion of the wedding. Wedding party introductions, speeches, dances, etc.. all went off without a hitch. If you are considering live music do yourself a favor and at least reach out to them and see where it goes. If you are on the fence between a DJ or live music I encourage you to go with Atlas if you have it in your budget. Having them perform made for a memorable night for everyone. ughter's wedding at the Aurora Inn. We had to postpone the original wedding date due to COVID and John and I stayed in relative contact during that uncertain year. He was so comforting and promised me they would be there no matter what date my daughter chose. Another date we set and the wedding was moving forward. My daughter is very particular and picky, so she had a long list of requests for the band. Music was one of the most important elements of her wedding and ATLAS outdid themselves on every level. She wanted to walk down the aisle to September but wanted the "live" version to be played by Atlas's horn section. John was so accommodating to her every wish. The band arrived early, they were dressed very professionally, they checked with us repeatedly during the pre-ceremony preparations, and the processional was incredible. All of our guests were dancing as we walked our daughter down the aisle. The tone for the entire evening was set. Atlas also played during the cocktail hour. It brought so much elegance and energy, even before the reception started. As usual, Atlas delivered an incredible product! My experience with them as a vendor for over 25 years has always been incredible, but playing for my daughter's wedding was extra special. It was a smaller affair, (90 people) but the dance floor was packed the entire night. They updated their playlist, had incredible energy, sounded magnificent, and kept the party going. Our guests did not want the party to stop, yelling "one more song, one more song." Atlas made it a night to remember. I have always been an advocate for live music as they bring so much more to a party, and ATLAS is that band that takes it to another level. The professionalism, the accommodating service, the quality of sound, (equipment and musicians) and the energy of the band is off the charts. If you are looking for a band that brings down the house, this is the band. Thanks, ATLAS for the incredible memories.

I didn’t have to worry about a thing besides providing my must-play songs, they handled everything else and it was perfect. If you are getting married in the Buff/Roch/Syr area and have a crowd that likes to party, you MUST check Atlas out.

My wedding guests are still talking about how awesome they were! If you are low on a budget, find other areas to cut down on - flowers, decor, guest list! We had 68 guests and it was beyond perfect! en we started planning, we immediately contacted them and scheduled our date around their availability. John was so helpful and had great advice while we were putting details together. As a result, the reception was flawless. These incredible musicians were extremely interactive with our guests and had EVERYONE dancing from start to finish. As excited as we were, they took it to a level we didn't think was possible. We're both musicians and to this day, our colleagues are still commenting on how great our band was. Atlas was punctual, professional, and great people hang out with. We cannot recommend Atlas enough. If you have a chance to book them, do it. You won’t regret it!

My only regret is not getting a bigger dancefloor. f them, I remember the line of singers dancing and spinning with their mic stands. The staff at our reception were excited that they were playing, especially since we were one of the first weddings of the spring/summer season. They play oldies but goodies, with some new stuff mixed in; which is good for a diverse crowd that you would have for a wedding. They were great to work with and accommodated our requests.

. Everyone danced the night away and I keep trying to think of excuses to hire them for something else!
