es here than we can count! It was my girlfriend and I, but I saw several families there as well. If you haven't tried Atlas 9, I recommend you do. It will change something in you that I don't know how to explain. The artistic value and the quality of craftsmanship and imagination that went into designing such a place is unmatched. JUST TRY IT OUT!

The pizza restaurant on site was great and the speakeasy served some truly amazing drinks. Both added to the overall experience and made the night feel complete. The staff were warm and helpful which made everything even better.
If you are looking for something unique to do in Kansas City and want an evening that feels a little magical and a lot of fun, I definitely recommend checking out Atlas9.

I went in not really knowing what to expect. I purposely didn’t look anything up beforehand, so I was a little nervous walking in. Thankfully, the staff is ridiculously helpful. They walk you through what you need to know and make everything fe...

If I had one suggestion, it would be to offer a small detective style notebook so you can jot down clues, phone numbers, or anything that pops up while you’re playing. It would fit the theme perfectly.
While we were there, they had live performances every couple of hours. One space had a live musician, another had a theater with dance shows. There’s honestly so much going on that we’re already planning our next trip.
From an accessibility standpoint, everything I encountered was easy to navigate with a wheelchair. I didn’t try the restroom, so I can’t speak to that, but the rest was smooth. A few areas involve crawling into tunnels, but every one of those had an accessible alternate path. Even getting into the secret rooms was surprisingly simple.
And I have to say, the whole place gave me major 90s nostalgia. Even the theater popcorn smell hit me right in the childhood.

What an awesome, immersive experience for adults or children (we are 26)!! We didn’t know what to expect. The staff really help set the scene and get you into character. It took us maybe 20-30 mins before we started to really get into the story...
, then we were digging for everything! If you come here, give yourself lots of time! We were here for about 2.5hrs and did about 80% of the tasks. There are things to search through, computers to interact with, phone numbers to call. We did spend some time enjoying the amazing Jazz singer. I think her name was Bri, so talented. Also wear comfortable clothes! You might have to do some crawling. It was nice that it wasn’t busy when we came. The place is huge though!
Also, there’s a pizza shop/bar inside plus all your typical movie concessions. Yum!
