ATOMIC Ballroom Irvine

We took our family to get a very general dance lesson for the wedding. It was a blast the instructor was a lot of fun, the class went by so fast but it was a good time. The only thing we did not like following the lesson was the abundance of several phone calls and e-mails we received following the lesson trying to get us all to come back.

This studio is always a little crowded. Their packages are a bit expensive, but so is all ballroom dancing. I liked our instructor; we ended up hiring him as our DJ for the wedding. I would have liked a bit more flexibility in their packages to make it worth it for me.

Alan is an amazingly patient and talented dance teacher! We had four private lessons and he taught us some dance basics as well as choreographed our first dance! We hadsomuch fun we plan to go back after the wedding and learn some new dance moves!

our personal first dance lessons were with Doreen at atomic ballroom. she gave us so much encouragement and worked with us very patiently. she picked out the best style of dance for the song we wanted- night club two step for "Don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith. i am so glad that my groom and i took dance lessons- it was a ton of fun, and well worth it. our first dance was something special and we received many compliments from our guests.

Our instructor Doreen was great. She helped us semi-chorograph our first dance. She was excellent with my husband, who has never danced in his life and made him come out of his shell. Great experience!

My bride and I were looking to take dancing lessons prior to our wedding so that I didn't embarass her on the dance floor during our first dance as a married couple. We heard through a friend about the Atomic Ballroom and was not disappointed. Rachel was great. She listened to our song and helped us choose a dance style that worked. The first couple of lessons taught us about the Fox Trot steps. After my wife and I became comfortable with the basic steps, Rachel choreographed our entire dance. The remaining lessons were used to perfect our routine. The only downfall to the experience was the cost. When we signed up for lessons, the "best value" included the private dance lessons as well as a package of group lessons to be used in the next six months. While we figured we would go back and learn a new style of dance, it didn't happen and we lost that value. If you are willing to spend the extra money before your wedding, I would highly recommend the Atomic Ballroom to all soon to be married couples and to everyone interested in learning how to dance.

We decided to do a choreographed dance two weeks before our wedding. I didn't even think that anyone would take us, but when I called Atomic, they were SO friendly and supportive. We got a private lesson right away with Aubri, who we loved, loved, loved! The studio is really nice and they give you free drinks every time you go. We took in our song, and Aubri figured out the dance in literally 5 minutes, after which she got right to work with us. Luckily, we both had some prior dance experience, but she really made it come together nicely in only a few days. Plus, we had so much fun, even during that stressful time. The dance turned out so great, and everyone thought that we had worked on it for months. Our lessons with Aubri will always be one of our best wedding memories.
