researching many local New York bands, we were invited to an AFP Showcase where the band put their talents on full display. As soon as we heard the caliber of the musicians, the voices and passion of the singers, their electric energy, and the range of types of songs they were performing, we were sold. Once we moved into planning stages, we had the pleasure of working with Sariah to answer all of our questions. Sariah was incredibly helpful, positive and supportive every step of the way. The team worked with us to choose all of our favorite songs, styles of music and favorite artists, so we went into our wedding day feeling confident that they would knock it out of the park. From start to finish, the process was seamless! The band truly exceeded our expectations - energetic and extremely musically talented! So many of our guests complimented the band as one of their favorite parts of the wedding - and we agree!! Our onsite coordinator Julia really brought the energy in MC-ing. A total rockstar!! We also ended up booking a strings trio for our ceremony through Atomic Funk Project – we loved the ease of having one vendor handle all of our music. They did an amazing job bringing our Bridgerton-inspired music to life for the ceremony portion. AFP were incredible partners that made the process very easy from start to finish. Would recommend to any couple looking for immaculate vibes with amazing people.

changes we made on the week of the wedding, AFP was so easy to work with and truly listened to all of our questions and concerns (thank you, Sariah!). The musicians are all so insanely talented and bring high energy and positivity all night! We watch the video of Scott belting out "New York, New York" on a weekly basis, he is legendary. Our guests did not leave the dance floor all night and were blown away, with some commenting that they felt like they were at a concert. AFP also nailed the MC'ng perfectly and the acoustics (not so loud it's hurting your ears / but still loud enough for a party). We are so grateful we were able to work with them for our wedding and cannot recommend AFP enough!

Honestly, I am not usually an avid dancer, but turned into one at my own wedding, all thanks to the energy and magic that Atomic Funk Project brought to the day. As far as the lead up to the wedding, Atomic Funk Project was so communicative and helpful. Their dedicated coordinator, Sariah, is so kind, responsive, and accommodating. We planned a backyard wedding at my parents’ house, which is something I always dreamed of, but proved to be logistically difficult. The band was so helpful in giving us electrical requirements and other information that helped us host the band at a private residence. The band was also happy to change some lyrics to songs like the “21st night of September” to the “20th night of September” which was our wedding date. I really can’t say enough. They were incredible, insanely talented, and lovely to work with. If they have availability, don’t think twice, book them ASAP! Atomic Funk Project, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

r. She was not wrong....AFP DELIVERED!!!!!!! We purposely had dinner completed by 8PM to ensure there was a night full of dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor until the band had to stop at 11pm. They pumped the crowd up and our guests are still talking about how phenomenal  the band was. I am trying to convince my husband to have an anniversary party just so we can have Atomic Funk Project back to party!!! If you want your guests talking weeks after your wedding, you have to hire Atomic Funk Project!

We had them for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (ceremony was a last minute addition and they made it such a special ceremony). Sariah ( relationship manager) was so helpful, communicative, patient, and organized. She really listened to our vision and requests and took the time to walk us through every detail of the music planning for our wedding day. AFP was by far one of the biggest highlights of wedding night - highly, highly recommend them!!

debate for months. He finally agreed that if we found a band we both loved, he'd concede. Easy only in theory, until we went to one of AFP's showcases. Even afterward, once we had signed on Atomic Funk Project, my husband was adamant that certain favorite songs of his be played with original tracks vs. by the band. The night of our wedding was SO much fun and the music kept the vibes going way past midnight. I know some original track songs were played, but I never noticed the transition. Our guests (and us) were on the dance floor the entire night, and one of our friends even got AFP's card for a future business event. I'd call that a win for everyone. As part of our package, we also had two musicians playing during cocktail hour - one on the baby grand piano at our venue and another playing saxophone. Sariah, who was our point of contact and our MC. She was absolutely amazing, and thanks to her our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Our package included the audio for our ceremony as well, and they worked with us to ensure my brother (who is a musician) was able to play guitar and sing as I walked down the aisle, and used tracks everywhere else flawlessly. Our first dance was “Two Step" by Dave Matthews Band, not a traditional slow dance, and it was so much fun to have them play it live and execute it so perfectly. We danced the night away and our wedding was one for the books thanks to Atomic Funk Project. A live band is absolutely the way to go for your wedding, and you will not regret choosing Atomic Funk Project. We truly loved them so much!

7-person band for our outdoor wedding, and a DJ for the after party. Each element was beautiful and talented. They have a great song list and have options for learning other songs depending on the package and ensemble (e.g., band versus string trip). The DJ also did a great job and really listened to our preferences. Honestly, there was not one bad song throughout the night. Our guests of all ages danced from beginning to end! Multiple people came up to us and said that AFP was the best wedding band they had ever heard. We are so happy AFP played at our wedding. Highly recommend!
