Atomic Funk Project

a ton of the classics and vibe we were going for. The team helped with random logistical points to keep the ceremony through end of reception running smoothly. The band - all singers and musicians - were amazing. They played for 4 hours and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time, though sadly it flew by!

ng about them! I couldn't recommend AFP more. Book em!

moment they started until the very last song. Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room were incredible. The biggest compliment we received after our wedding was about the band. We had so many guests text and call us afterward saying it was the best wedding band they had ever seen, and multiple people told us it was the most fun they’d ever had at a wedding because of them. They truly created an atmosphere that people are still talking about weeks later. They were professional, easy to work with, and absolutely nailed every special moment of the night. If you want your guests to remember your wedding for years to come, book Atomic Funk Project. They are worth every penny, and we’d choose them again in a heartbeat.

It’s been almost a month since our wedding, and I’m still getting rave reviews about the band. Multiple guests have told me they had always planned on having a DJ at their own wedding, but after seeing AFP perform, they’re now seriously considering hiring a live band instead. That’s how incredible they were. From the planning process to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. They made it so easy to finalize our music selections and played all of the songs that were important to us. They also gave us the sweetest surprise that we’ll never forget. Our first dance was to a slow cover of First Date by Blink-182, and without us knowing, they ended the night by playing the original version. It was the perfect full-circle moment and such a thoughtful touch that made the ending of our wedding feel even more special. We had Brandi, Sharisse, and Christian as our lead vocalists, and they were incredible. Their voices were unbelievably powerful, their energy was contagious, and they kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last. Every musician in the band was exceptionally talented, and together they created an atmosphere that was so much fun and impossible not to dance to. AFP didn’t just provide music—they created an unforgettable experience. They brought so much energy, excitement, and personality to our wedding, and they played a huge role in making it a celebration that our family and friends are still talking about. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better band, and I would recommend Atomic Funk Project to any couple without hesitation.

nt to dance to (and also you), their energy was infectious - they routinely got out on the floor with us to sing in the middle. Everyone that came up to us after that weekend said it was one of the best bands they've ever heard. As a bride, I did not leave the dance floor!!!!!! If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. Worth the money for sure.

e from start to finish. Our dance floor was packed all night—our guests never stopped dancing! Every member of the band was exceptionally talented, and they did an amazing job reading the room and keeping the energy high throughout the evening. If you're looking for a wedding band that will make your celebration unforgettable, we couldn't recommend AFP more highly!

ing them live, and they did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed all night. Our guests could not stop talking about how this was the best wedding band they'd ever seen. One friend's mom even asked if it would be okay for her to hire the same band for her own event! Christian, one of the male singers, was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about his talent and energy. And our band coordinator Julia was out of this world, making sure we stayed on schedule while pivoting seamlessly to accommodate everything we wanted throughout the night. Do yourself a favor and hire this band. You will not regret it!

onalism. Atomic Funk is easy and fun to work with! All of them, from the founder Steve to the "musical fairy godmother" Sariah make an IMPRESSIVE team. We couldn't get our guests to the after party next door because everyone wanted to stay to tell the band how awesome they were. A huge thanks to Atomic Funk!

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that sacrificing a couple of other goodies in order to budget for this band would be in your best interest. This was the band, wedding, and night of a lifetime. I'm so grateful to AFP and the support, love, and music they provided. 10/10 x1,000,000!!!! XOXOXO

the band itself completely made our wedding! So many of our guests told us they were the best wedding band they had ever heard..and of course, I agree :) The 9 piece was perfect for the vibe we wanted. The band was able to play a range of songs, nailed all of our special requests from our ceremony to first dances, adapted to the crowd, and brought the energy the entire time. Every singer had an incredible voice and the band members were so talented…playing everything from The Jonas Brothers to The Grateful Dead. We also used AFP’s DJ for our after party, and he was so much fun. The dance floor was completely packed for 6 hours straight..it was unbelievable! Thank you AFP for making our wedding so unforgettable!

s have not stopped raving about how unbelievably talented they were. Thank you for bringing the energy and the funk all night long, we truly had the BEST time!

nce in the planning too. Would highly recommend.

band. We got married this May, and Atomic Funk was truly one of the highlights of the entire day! Their energy was electric and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had countless guests tell us that every time the band started a new song, it felt like the actual artist was performing in the room. Their talent, stage presence, and ability to engage the crowd were exceptional. Beyond their amazing performance, they were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. From start to finish, communication was seamless. They took the time to understand our musical preferences and were flexible whenever we wanted to make adjustments. Music and dancing were among our top priorities for the wedding, so finding the right band was incredibly important to us. Atomic Funk exceeded every expectation we had and delivered an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. If you're looking for a band that will bring incredible musicianship, high energy, and a packed dance floor, book Atomic Funk. You will not regret it!

the final song. If you want a band that brings real energy, book them.

rked seamlessly with our venue to coordinate all the day-of details, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The musicians for our ceremony did beautiful, tear-jerking renditions of Sunshine On My Shoulders and Blackbird, the cocktail hour duo created the perfect ambiance, and I'm not even sure how to begin to describe the reception. Our MC, Julia, was fantastic - she was so organized checking in with us throughout the evening so that we were in the loop on the progression of the night with speeches and breaks, and she was so kind in addition to her talent. Our vocalists, Brandi, Scott, and Helen - WOW. They were all so incredibly gifted, and brought so much energy to the reception. None of our guests wanted to leave the dance floor, and Scott worked the room so well with his dance moves. Their song choices were perfect - they totally captured the vibe we wanted, and spanned the generations perfectly so that everyone in attendance wanted to be up and dancing. I can't recommend Atomic Funk Project enough!!

s. I just wanted to know if AFP was available. Sariah was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process and the musicians are so incredibly talented. They kept the vibes high throughout the entire night and were truly a highlight of the wedding. Everyone we talked to about the wedding commented, "The band is amazing!" Highly recommend!

nd singing it perfectly so the vocal cues matched perfectly with how we practiced. They also played countless songs from our favorites list. Cannot recommend AFP enough!

ng selection, their unbelievable voices and the lead singer's dance moves - just amazing! Thank you for making this such an incredible and memorable evening. 5 stars isn't enough for this band!

re fast. The band manager we worked with, Sariah, was so nice and easy to deal with. A great listener. All of the preferences we communicated to her came to life on our wedding day. My wife’s (the bride) dad is a musician and we wanted him to play a song or two during the reception. AF accommodated this not only without issue but with zest and excitement. The band - the musicians were uber talented and executed flawlessly. We heard from multiple guests after the wedding that it was the best wedding band they’d ever heard. We had an eight piece band which came with a soloist for the ceremony and a duo for the cocktail hour. The ceremony soloist played the instrumental from a few indie songs we love and absolutely crushed - in a good way. The band played EXACTLY what we wanted to hear per our preference sheet and truly exceeded our expectations. There was not a song played that we and the crowd didn’t love. The dance floor was packed all night. They brought so much energy and I can’t tell you how talented they were enough. 10 out of five stars.

ent in every way. From the absolutely beautiful and romantic instrumental ceremony music, lively jazz at cocktail hour, and absolutely top-notch set list during our reception, they delivered on every aspect. Almost every guest we spoke to said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard, and that they felt like they were at a concert they should have had to pay for!! The band learned special songs that were meaningful to us that ended up being better renditions than the originals, and we had guests asking us if we had recordings of their versions because they were so good. They took our musical preferences and turned them into the perfect mix of songs that kept the dance floor packed all night long. They were so friendly and easy to work with and truly threw us the dance party of our dreams. THANK YOU!!!

ted in bringing our vision to life. A very special shoutout to Steve Davis, whose flexibility and enthusiasm were unmatched. He went above and beyond to support our vision of having live jazz musicians for our ceremony and cocktail reception, and he did an incredible job finding the perfect team for the rest of the celebration — connecting us with day-of coordinator, Reggie, and DJ Sam for the dancing portion of the night. The transitions between live music and DJ sets were seamless and elevated the entire experience. Andy and I received countless compliments from our guests, many of whom said that DJ Sam, day-of coordinator Reggie, and live musicians were truly world-class. The energy, professionalism, and musical talent were evident throughout the entire night. We also want to give a special call out to Sariah, who served as our relationship manager during the planning phase. She was responsive, organized, and a joy to work with, making the process smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a music team that listens, collaborates, and delivers at the highest level, Atomic Funk Project is it. We couldn’t recommend them more highly! 🎶💃🕺 - Kim & Andy

ng day was absolutely perfect.

erson to work with. Definitely the kind of person you want to work with during the stressful wedding planning process. So kind, so positive and the best MC!!! The band itself… just outstanding. We had endless compliments, and we are still getting them. The dance floor was never dry.  They made our night so amazing. The talent is off the charts. MASSIVE thank you to all!!!

nt coordinator at my venue told me she has never seen the dance floor so packed in her 25 years on the job! They truly exceeded expectations and helped make my vision of a non-stop, high-energy wedding come to life. They truly made our special day even more amazing.

ey created the exact atmosphere we had dreamed of for our celebration. Guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and how much fun they had dancing all night long. On top of the amazing music, they were also wonderful to work with — responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making the night unforgettable.

end!

ctly what we hoped for. We are so grateful to them for making our wedding unforgettable. We truly had the best time, and every guest we talked to raved about how amazing the band was. We would recommend Atomic Funk Project without hesitation to anyone who wants to have the best dance party of their life!

up to our wedding - our venue even said they were the most organized vendor they've worked with! Day of, our dance floor was packed the entire night, and they brought so much talent and fun to our day. Can't recommend them enough!

all expectations. All of our guests (including us) were on the dance floor ALL night and each hit was better than the last! I think most of us lost our voices from singing every song! I would love to give a special shoutout to Sariah, our day-of coordinator, who worked with us every step of the way - she is not only exceptionally professional and talented, but beyond kind and down to earth (I feel like she was a friend of mine for years), and made the planning process seamless from start to finish. We love AFP and we hope to work with them again in the near future!

researching many local New York bands, we were invited to an AFP Showcase where the band put their talents on full display. As soon as we heard the caliber of the musicians, the voices and passion of the singers, their electric energy, and the range of types of songs they were performing, we were sold. Once we moved into planning stages, we had the pleasure of working with Sariah to answer all of our questions. Sariah was incredibly helpful, positive and supportive every step of the way. The team worked with us to choose all of our favorite songs, styles of music and favorite artists, so we went into our wedding day feeling confident that they would knock it out of the park. From start to finish, the process was seamless! The band truly exceeded our expectations - energetic and extremely musically talented! So many of our guests complimented the band as one of their favorite parts of the wedding - and we agree!! Our onsite coordinator Julia really brought the energy in MC-ing. A total rockstar!! We also ended up booking a strings trio for our ceremony through Atomic Funk Project – we loved the ease of having one vendor handle all of our music. They did an amazing job bringing our Bridgerton-inspired music to life for the ceremony portion. AFP were incredible partners that made the process very easy from start to finish. Would recommend to any couple looking for immaculate vibes with amazing people.

changes we made on the week of the wedding, AFP was so easy to work with and truly listened to all of our questions and concerns (thank you, Sariah!). The musicians are all so insanely talented and bring high energy and positivity all night! We watch the video of Scott belting out "New York, New York" on a weekly basis, he is legendary. Our guests did not leave the dance floor all night and were blown away, with some commenting that they felt like they were at a concert. AFP also nailed the MC'ng perfectly and the acoustics (not so loud it's hurting your ears / but still loud enough for a party). We are so grateful we were able to work with them for our wedding and cannot recommend AFP enough!

ard a few years later — my parents come back from a wedding and rave about the band. Who was the band? AFP! So we knew it was fate that we had to book them for my wedding one day! From our very first conversation with Steve to the day of, we had a beyond seamless experience with AFP! And of course the band rocked the house down — and even indulged us in letting us sing a couple of songs with the band! Look no further than AFP!!!

ngs type, was up and dancing and singing along throughout the entire reception. Honestly, I am not usually an avid dancer, but turned into one at my own wedding, all thanks to the energy and magic that Atomic Funk Project brought to the day. So many people came up to me and asked where I found the band, and complimented our wedding saying it was the “most fun wedding they’d ever been to.” For context, our friends who also got married this year gave us that compliment. I can’t say enough about how fun and how talented they were. Adding instruments to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour was also such a beautiful touch that made the day feel ethereal. As far as the lead up to the wedding, Atomic Funk Project was so communicative and helpful. Their dedicated coordinator, Sariah, is so kind, responsive, and accommodating. We planned a backyard wedding at my parents’ house, which is something I always dreamed of, but proved to be logistically difficult. The band was so helpful in giving us electrical requirements and other information that helped us host the band at a private residence. The band was also happy to change some lyrics to songs like the “21st night of September” to the “20th night of September” which was our wedding date. I really can’t say enough. They were incredible, insanely talented, and lovely to work with. If they have availability, don’t think twice, book them ASAP! Atomic Funk Project, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

r. She was not wrong....AFP DELIVERED!!!!!!! We purposely had dinner completed by 8PM to ensure there was a night full of dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor until the band had to stop at 11pm. They pumped the crowd up and our guests are still talking about how phenomenal  the band was. I am trying to convince my husband to have an anniversary party just so we can have Atomic Funk Project back to party!!! If you want your guests talking weeks after your wedding, you have to hire Atomic Funk Project!

nce, and they were extremely accommodating and flexible with our requests, even last minute ones when we decided to add an additional musician. We had them for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (ceremony was a last minute addition and they made it such a special ceremony). Sariah ( relationship manager) was so helpful, communicative, patient, and organized. She really listened to our vision and requests and took the time to walk us through every detail of the music planning for our wedding day. AFP was by far one of the biggest highlights of wedding night - highly, highly recommend them!!

eople on their feet with such amazing energy. I don't think there was every a time where the dance floor wasn't full! We were in awe of their talent! We had them for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well and the experience was simply perfect. Our guitarist for the ceremony created such a sweet, romantic atmosphere and brought that same feeling for the cocktail hour as well. Sariah the relationship manager was also so communicative, organized, and personable. She happily walked us through completing our musical planning sheet and was available for any questions we had. Book AFP if you're looking to keep the party going and guests dancing!

en! Our dance floor was never empty. They brought our vision to life and made our wedding night unforgettable.
