Atwood Music Hall

The Atwood Music Hall is the newest events venue in Madison located on the near East side at the crossroads of Atwood and Winnebago streets. Originally built in 1932 as the home of the Madison Gospel Tabernacle, the space sat 1000 parishioners for weekly services. The newly renovated building offers a unique space for weddings and private events from 150 to 700 people. Walking into the venue, the diamond shaped lamella ceiling immediately draws attention, and the overall design pays homage to the Art Deco period in which the building was conceived. State-of-the-art sound, lights, and video offer professional AV capabilities for ceremonies, speeches, presentations, live music, or DJs to keep your attendees captivated throughout the event. The lower level contains two suites that offer cozy, classy spaces to make getting ready a breeze, as well as a designated catering area for food prep and staging. Multiple bars are located throughout the venue to keep drink lines short. While the building is close to many area hotels, it also manages two nearby parking lots that can accommodate up to 108 cars.
