Sean is an incredible person to have on your wedding day! Sean met with my husband and I twice before our wedding and helped us get started on making playlists for our wedding and gave us a demonstration of his DJ-ing! On our wedding day, Sean had extremely high quality equipment. All of our guests were able to hear us clearly during the ceremony with his microphones and Sean timed our music perfectly at the ceremony. When a song was too short, he already had a plan in place to extend it. During our cocktail hour and reception, Sean helped with any announcements we needed and when it came to dancing, he made sure the dance floor was full! Sean checked in with us a few times during the event to field any song requests which we super appreciated. He is a pro at anticipating the dance floor and keeping people on it! We can't imagine our wedding day without Sean!

Sean was truly an incredible and off the charts DJ for our wedding! The first time we talked to him we knew he would be great at our wedding, but he absolutely knocked it out of the park! We had a certain vibe we wanted, and Sean worked with us to not only listen to our vision, but understand and be able to make that into something spectacular. On top of that, when we had questions, or were nervous the music we had picked wasn't the right choice, Sean was able to take over, and guide us in the right direction. I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and I’ve never heard a DJ be able to play such a diverse group of genres, and mix them in a way that not only sounded good, but kept the dance floor full the entire time!! Sean also provided all of the lighting for our wedding, which brought our venue to the next level! We got our photo booth through Sean, which only heightened the wedding. A lot of photo booths can look like just a quick set up, but this one looked elegant and a blast, and we were able to use the photo booth as our guest book! We told Sean we wanted the party of the century at our wedding, and he delivered just that. Our guests have only continued to comment on how awesome the music was, and I would highly recommend DJ Sean to anyone, because I know what an amazing job he will do!!

Sean was the best to work with! He has a true passion for music, and it really shows when he DJs. He listened to us and helped us include music from both of our cultural backgrounds while also having some popular music mixed in. The dance floor was NEVER empty during our reception and our guests had the best time with him! ATX DJ (Sean) was a total hit! He was one of our favorite surprises of the day, in a good way. We hired him for his amazing DJ skills and the photo booth package, and we were very pleased with both. Sean was communicative and played all of our favorite songs and requests. The photobooth was so much fun with the black and white glam filter (it did not disappoint!). Many of our friends and family commented on how great the music was and guests of all generations were kept dancing and amused all night long. The cherry on top was that his pricing was in budget and was competitive with other vendors we considered, both in price and quality. Beyond the DJ skills and the booth, he worked well with the other vendors and helped the day go flawlessly.

Sean was fantastic!! He kept the reception going (hard task when you’re competing against the final game of the World Series!) and worked well with our planner for a seamless evening. He did a great job of playing the songs we wanted and filling it out with other songs. We had a few songs we had trouble picking for certain things, and he was ready with lists to give us ideas. Sean was amazing. At our initial consultation we talked about our overall energy level and expectation for the wedding. He provided us with a website to help us in picking songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He reviewed the list, followed up with us to make sure he understood what we were going for, added some suggestions based on his experience and absolutely delivered! On the day, he had us mic'd up for the ceremony, was setup for an outdoor cocktail hour and then transitioned inside for the welcome/reception seamlessly. He acted almost like a wedding planner to help keep us on schedule and checked in with us to make sure things were going as planned. He did so well, the Bride and I both separately went up to him during the reception to praise his high energy and talents! He played all the best parts of all of our favorite songs, knew when to bring it down so people could catch their breath, then went right back to up-tempo. If you are on the hunt for a DJ at your wedding, Sean is your man! When my husband and I were looking for a DJ we wanted someone that we connected with and understood the vibe we wanted at our wedding. From the first intro call, we felt like we clicked with him and it was a bonus that he provides a music/mixing sample of what it would be like if he were to be our DJ. We had virtual touch base meetings but he was so easy to work with and helpful on additional suggestions on the playlist. Sean did such a great job and we were so happy that we were able to work with him. Our guests had a blast and we were dancing all night! Definitely recommend.

Sean is much more than a DJ--he helped us create the mood and tone of our reception, and he helped coordinate logistics and flow throughout the day. We had a lot of moving pieces with my brother playing the ceremony music, and he coordinated everything perfectly. He was professional and calm, helping to reduce any nerves or stress about the big day. Also, during the reception, I was so impressed at how he could read the room and crowd and adjusted the music accordingly. DJs are hard to hire if you haven't heard them live, but that's what I did with Sean after a very successful and positive phone interview, and I am SO GLAD I did. Ok y'all - Sean is the best. Music is SO so important to me - I curated our wedding reception playlist for over a year prior to the wedding. Music can also make or break the whole vibe of the dinner and reception. I've been to several weddings where the music just didn't match the vibe of the room and it results in an empty dance floor. Sean kept the dance floor full THE ENTIRE time!!! Even my parents got up mid-meal and started dancing. It was incredible. He reads the room and adjusts the songs, volume, and lighting to match. He organized the playlist to start with the softer, more family-friendly songs and build up to the real party. Even people who self-proclaimed to hate dancing were on the dance floor! DJ Sean is literally the best. From the introduction to the day of, he was nothing but amazing. He made our wedding! His timing of songs, mash ups, his set up and lighting were all on point in what I imagined our night would be. I remember "complaining" to guests, "Our DJ is playing TOO MANY awesome songs." DJ Sean is the nicest vendor to work with! He really stuck to our playlist and made some changes during the reception based on a last minute anniversary dance and slideshow we didn't know we wanted until that day. He also played off the crowd's vibe really well, and mixed songs and kept us on the dance floor for hours! We had the best meeting in person, and he was able to show me his skill in adding room lighting, too. I highly recommend adding that to your package because it's definitely cheaper than a lighting company, and he has the best equipment! Our experience with him was one of the best we could've asked. We greatly appreciated him taking the time out to meet with us twice, not only to ask about the wedding itself, but to get to know us as well. The process of providing him with the information he needed was quick, simple, and not stressful in the least. We put a lot of trust in him and we're glad we did. After the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance, he helped to get everyone out on the dance floor for a group picture then capitalized on everyone being out there by hitting us with a song that KEPT everyone out on the dance floor. So many of our guests have told us that the music was one of, if not THE highlight, of the night. Music is a huge portion of the night that leaves a lasting impression on all the guests and when it goes well, so goes the night and Sean delivered in a big way. We LOVED having Sean as our DJ for our wedding! He made the whole process of choosing our music effortless and stressless. Since our wedding was a destination wedding, we did all of our correspondence through email, text and phone calls. We never had a hard time getting in touch with him and he always made time for us and any questions we had. He really is an artist in what he does; there was never a strange transition from one song to the next and he was great in keeping with our preferred songs for the evening. Not only is he great at keeping any vibe going that you wish (country/rock/rap/line dances), he is a 5 star-highly recommend from me because of his ability to pick up social cue’s. There were multiple times (mother-son dance, father-daughter dance) that we needed songs to simply end and move on, and Sean only needed quick eye contact, and he would flow into the next moment with no awkward pause. SEAN IS AMAZING!!!! The picking ATX DJ was one of the easiest choices I made, which was impart to all the reviews - and after our event ALL the amazing reviews were 100% on point! Sean was so organized, easy to talk to and quick to respond to any questions. He has a huge music knowledge and collection....anything he didn't have that we had requested he added to his collection quickly. My Maid of Honor planned to rap her speech during the reception (I had no clue!) - she went up to Sean right before the reception and he was able to purchase the "music only" version of the song she needed to execute the most MEMORABLE speech ever! Sean would find me randomly and ask if there was anything I wanted to hear to make my night perfect - he had done such an amazing job I never had to say anything. After the wedding all the guests mentioned that it was nice to see a DJ that wasn't about making it about "him" during the reception - he just played perfect music that EVERYONE danced too! (plus his set up is FANTASTIC!) Picking a vendor that you never have to worry about during the process is SUCH a relief when wedding planning - do yourself a favor and choose SEAN at ATX DJ!

Hands down, Sean is the most wonderful DJ to work with. Not only is his site interface easy to work with when it comes to picking songs, but he makes sure that your night will be catered to what YOU want. He makes sure everything is ready right up until the week of the wedding by having a meeting with you and by sending you a worksheet to make sure everything is right. I had a smaller wedding of about 50 people, so I'm sure Sean is used to playing to a much bigger crowd, but he really worked the room! Mine nor my husband's family or friends are big dancers, but they got out on the floor and I think that's such a true testament to Sean as a DJ. He is truly a wonderful person that really cares about his clients.

We seriously couldn't have picked a better DJ than Sean. I was really nervous that the dance floor would be empty at our wedding ( I love to dance ) but I couldn't have been more wrong. He seriously read the room better than any other DJ at any other wedding I've been to! Everyone was dancing!! It's was seriously packed! He also made sure to meet with us a couple times before the wedding to get a feel for our taste in music! A DJ can seriously ruin a reception, so if you want to avoid that pick Sean!! Sean is fantastic. From our first phone call to our wedding day, he was an absolute gem. He kept everyone dancing the whole time. We got tons of compliments on the music after. And we had a blast. Sean was really collaborative and fun to work with in the months leading up to our wedding, too. We were wary, probably to a pretentious degree, of having a cheesy wedding DJ experience, but Sean put those fears to rest. He was down to try any ideas we had, including for the ceremony, pre-ceremony and dinner music. He also pulled us back to reality and made sure we had plenty of crowd-pleaser, party-starter songs. He knows his stuff, and knew when to play, say, a band's second most popular song, instead of their sixth. And he figured out the perfect times to drop in some of our more iffy suggestions -- and they totally worked! (It's rare to find a DJ who can keep all your aunts and uncles dancing through Big Freedia's "Azz Everywhere.") Chalk that up to Sean's mixing skills. What really impressed us was how Sean took the time to get to know us as people. By our last meeting, he could run through a list of songs and artists we hadn't even discussed and tell us with stunning accuracy which songs we'd like to play and which we wouldn't. We sent him a bunch of specific ideas, but he could've made a entire list from scratch and nailed it. Sean also made it easy -- he was very flexible about scheduling times to talk, and made us feel reassured with plenty of backup plans. And, he's a great emcee. He kept announcements short and sweet, and my brother, who loves nothing more than ripping on people, said specifically that Sean did NOT have "cheesy DJ voice." What else can you ask for? Oh, and Sean's a really really nice guy. Hire this man.

We could not be more pleased with Sean's services! He provided us with both quality DJ services and the photo booth service, which was an absolute smash at the reception. Seriously, the photo booth is an amazing idea, and every reception should have one! Sean was incredibly responsive to our needs and interests. He took amazing care of us by consulting to understand precisely what we were looking for during the reception, offering suggestions where we weren't really sure. He responds to e-mails quickly, and takes care of any troubles that you have. He made our reception amazing! By the end of the night, we had turned the ballroom into a full-on dance club, and everybody was loving it. Sean helped us make our reception the social event of the summer. I cannot recommend him enough; he will take excellent care of you and knows exactly how to make for a killer party!

One of the best decisions I made planning my wedding was hiring Sean as our DJ! He was quick to respond to emails and even met with us in person to get a feel for how we wanted our wedding to go. The dance floor was packed the entire night which is exactly what we wanted! Everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend ATX DJ!

Phenomenal DJ! Sean was one of the few vendors we used that truly seem to care about us and making our wedding an exceptional day. He took the time out to explain things, give us ideas and was very flexible in his schedule. I'm an event planner in my career and have worked with tons of DJ's for a variety of different events and Sean blew them all out of the water! Without a second's hesitation I fully endorse and recommend Sean for your wedding.

From the very beginning, it was obvious how much Sean loves his work. He spent more than an hour with us during our initial meeting explaining his philosophy and listening to our ideas. He was incredibly communicative and easy to reach via email. He was also great about offering suggestions and explaining them based on his experience. Additionally, we found that his price was a great value when compared to other DJs in Austin that provide similar services. To top off his great service, Sean's first child was born on the way to our wedding and amazingly, he still came because his backup was no longer available. That's dedication right there! DJ Sean Alan was one of the kindest vendors we worked with for our wedding. From the moment I met him with my bridesmaid, he was open to hearing about what type of music/atmosphere we wanted for the wedding. During our initial meeting, he even showed us his skills in mixing and dj-ing. Something other DJs we met with didn't. He has tons of experience in playing at weddings; he has done HUNDREDS of weddings. Once you book with him, you will have access to his website where you can pick and choose the music you want/don't want for your wedding. He is the type of DJ that will let you customize your wedding playlist, and won't be rude about it. He is completely open to anything and everything. My family is Vietnamese and had wanted him to play some Vietnamese music during cocktail hour and dinner. I made him a list of songs my parents wanted to hear and Sean accommodated us! He had found the perfect number of Vietnamese songs to play and my family loved it. They felt like our DJ acknowledged our culture and cared about his clients. Sean is a great DJ and a great guy. He is such an awesome person to work with. Choose him as your DJ, you won't regret it!

DJ Sean Alan put me at ease from the very first meeting. His response times to calls and emails are incredible, as is his knowledge of music. Where other DJs I talked to seemed too laid-back, DJ Sean Alan had a mix of fun professionalism. He pays very close attention to detail to ensure your day is perfect! I had an early brunch wedding and he still had everyone out on the dance floor! I highly recommend him.

Where to even begin with Sean. He is absolutely amazing and is hands down the best DJ to get for your wedding. No ifs, ands or buts about it. In our meetings and communication prior to mine and my husband's wedding, he was always finding ways to ensure everything was perfect. We went over a timeline with him, he gave tips about the flow of the event and even gave his input on the floor layout. We took his advice for everything and it definitely made our reception 10x better! He went above and beyond to make sure not only the music at the reception was perfect but that our entire reception was perfect. My husband and I are pretty particular about music and love a huge range of it but that was no problem to Sean. He knew exactly what to play, when to play it and for how long. He is not a DJ that hits play and just stands at his table. He is constantly mixing music, added last minute requests by me and gets a good feel of the atmosphere to determine how/if he needs to mix things up a bit as far as genre of music. Sean is professional, fun and truly cares about making your day special.

I can not express how happy I am that we chose Sean for our wedding DJ. Everyone told me (including my coordinator) that a DJ can make or break your wedding, and Sean MADE our wedding!! He is so professional, passionate, and he genuinely cares about your wedding! Sean sat down with us multiple times to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted! DJ Sean is amazing! He made my wedding fantastic. He walked us through the entire process and let us customize everything we wanted. Music is a big deal to my wife and I, so the fact that I didn't hear a single bad song (including songs I've never heard before) was amazing. All night long people were saying how the music was so good and that was thanks to Sean. Sean works with you to make sure everything will be the way that you want it. DJ Sean Allan was amazing. From the moment we contacted him, we knew we had made the right choice. We were planning the wedding from out of town but Sean set up an initial skype date with us and discussed our thoughts/gave us advice. After our initial meeting on skype he was always quick to answer my questions through email and just made the planning process so easy! He met up with us at a Starbucks the Thursday before our wedding to discuss last minute things, and he really calmed our nerves - we went into our wedding day not worried about at thing! On the day of the wedding/reception everything went so smoothly, Sean even MC'ed for us and kept everything on time. As far as his music choices - so many people came up to us and made comments about our DJ and how great he was! The reception was amazing, everyone was dancing - from our youngest friends/family to our grandparents :) We left our reception feeling so full of love and happiness because we had the greatest party of our lives and we knew everyone else had an amazing time too :) (also not to mention, DJ Sean Allan is super affordable, I feel like we got a steal!!) He is the DJ for you!

I tasked my husband with finding a DJ for the wedding...since we had a wedding in San Antonio and live in Dallas, we had to entirely rely on online reviews. When very quickly he said that he found a guy who had the best reviews online, my nosy self became suspicious - but boy did we get lucky that Sean was still available for our date!!!! Hiring him was the best decision we could have made! From the start, the party was the most important thing to us. We gave Sean a tricky task, since I am German and my husband's family is from Persian, we wanted a mix of music. Sean has an awesome website that lets you add music to your playlist any time before the wedding – it was perfect, because anytime you thought of a song, we could write it down and truly select special songs we wanted played. Without the blink of an eye, he organized to have all the German and Persian songs ready for the party and was UNBELIEVABLE in how he weaved the different styles together! Let me tell you… we heard from so many of our guests that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to…and we attribute that to Sean 100%!!! We also booked his photobooth (Liveoak Photobooth) and the team could have not been any sweeter. He singlehandedly is responsible for the amazing party we had. He was SO responsive, professional and receptive the entire night to any little favor or request we asked, and we truly could never thank him enough!

If I could give more than 5 stars as a rating you better believe I would. DJ Sean will go above and beyond for your wedding. My husband and I booked Sean as the DJ for our June Wedding at our very first meeting with him. That is the kind of first impression he makes. During wedding planning he was amazing, making sure my walk down the aisle song was exactly what I wanted. DJ Sean is one of a kind because not only is he a good DJ but he is a great person. If you do not book him as your DJ for your wedding you will be making a huge mistake. He will play great music and have everyone dancing the whole night!!!

Sean is an amazing DJ to work with. He's a personable guy that really knows his stuff.
