David's specialty as an MC is a "Love Story" that he shares with everyone during the reception. It is a collaboration with the couple that becomes a beautifully told story invoking emotions that make you laugh and cry. He also created a custom monogram for us of a skier and a snowboarder on a ski lift. It had our names and the date of the wedding with animated snow flakes falling in the background. I am a skier and my wife is a snowboarder, so this reflected our style, and our guests loved it as well. David kept the flow of the reception going and had our guests dancing until the New Year rang in at midnight . The music was great (he really knows what he is doing in this capacity - we left it mostly up to him!) TRANSITION MUSIC - this is so important and one of the reasons we booked him. Everything flowed great. His transition between songs was flawless and the way he mixed songs was perfect. He really made the party and myself and our guests can't thank him enough.

His microphones, speakers and booth created an experience for all of our guests to enjoy, without taking away from the view. Dave was able to set up surround sound for our ceremony with all cords and speakers discreetly tucked away, not visible in photos. All of our guests could hear our vows and each song was timed perfectly. As for our reception, Dave had our guests out on the dance floor all night long. Our venue noted they had never seen such a fun wedding, that keep a full dance floor well into the night. Dave was a keystone to keeping our wedding well organized and running on time. Our guests were provided with prompts by Dave for cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, first dances and more. With a wedding of 150 guests, we have continued to hear over and over, “Your DJ was the best I’ve ever seen! He made the night a total blast!” Dave truly provided us the party of a life time. His ability to read the crowd and play the perfect songs had people dancing, singing and cheering. A few months after our wedding, Dave reached out and sent us one of our most treasured moments from our wedding. Dave created a track of our first dance song, that incorporated our vows. We were blown away, not even knowing he had recorded our vows, it was an incredible surprise. We can’t thank Dave enough for the quality of work and dedication he brought to our wedding. He did not make me feel nervous or stressed about what was going on, and had such smooth transitioning techniques, that no one even noticed. nothing worse than being at a wedding where the audio or music is too quiet and poorly timed. David did an over-the-top amazing job at ensuring all of that was taken care of and then some - he edited my grand entrance song to time perfectly with the aisle walk, he seamlessly handled people walking down at the wrong time with graceful transitions in the music that were undetectable, and he took our curated selection of music and fit it into each part of the day so beautifully. We were really picky about music selection, but I feel very confident he would be able to come up with a great selection on his own (with your input in the worksheet he provides). On top of all of that, he was thoughtful to bring mics for the ceremony that were good for handling wind (our wedding was outdoors), he walked table - to - table to release guests for dinner (instead of shouting over a microphone), and he really kept our mind at ease the whole time with how calm, collected and warm he was. He also had us fill out a worksheet ahead of time detailing certain parts of our "love story" (optional). He put our answers together and read them aloud right before our first dance. It was really sweet and funny and if it hadn't been so long (my fault for writing so much) - it would have been perfect. David is the best! Highly recommend!

eption (we received so many compliments on this), amazing sound system for both the ceremony and reception to ensure guests hear everything and that your videographer has the best options to capture the audio, he attends the rehearsal to ensure timing of your songs are perfect, and he goes above and beyond in any way possible - we also rented bistro lights and fabric for our barn door entrance from him. He removed the ugly Christmas lights that were at our venue and then hung the gorgeous bistro lights for us from the tallest barn peak ever (he visited the barn numerous times before the wedding to develop a plan for hanging the lights and also to see where he needed to set up his sound system). He also came back the next morning to put the Christmas lights back up (which wasn't really his responsibility). I'm telling you, this man is the BEST dj/mc ever. He worked flawlessly with my other vendors to ensure timing of the entire day/ night was perfect. You won't find aanyone better guaranteed! He helped us mix together multiple songs into one for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and grand entrance. He recorded messages from family and friends who could not attend the wedding and played them during the reception. At the end of the night, he played a recording of our vows over a song for a "Last Dance" to mirror our first dance. It was absolutely lovely and we received so many compliments from guests about the Last Dance. He had so many creative ideas; he used a variety of lighting to completely change the atmosphere of the room and designed monograms that shined on the small indoor dance floor and on a wall. David was so understanding and laid back about how we envisioned the ceremony and reception. I hate being the center of attention, so the first dances were not something I was looking forward to...David assured me not to worry and to just pick the songs we really want -- he took it from there. To ease my nerves about the first dances, he cut certain parts of the songs we choose, keeping the main parts of the song but shortening it significantly so we would not have to dance too long. the most meaningful memories. 1) Remixing our vows: Our venue had a strict policy in which everyone had to be out by a certain time. Rather than having guest trickle out we decided to end with a bang. David was able to capture our vows live during our wedding ceremony and remix it with our favorite LCD Soundsystem song. Everyone was shocked and in awe as we ending our wedding with a remix of our vows and our favorite song. 2) Rain or shine: In speaking with other DJs there was a lot of extra responsibilities and details to accommodate for. Other DJ’s needed linens for their table, lights, and sound equipment, and everything cost extra. David was an all-inclusive DJ. Personalized lights design, matching linens, and a rain contingency plan. David was set. It was so relieving to trust that no matter what David was prepared. And guess what it did rain--hard. And David played through the thunderstorm perfectly! The dance party didn’t stop and we got soaked. People still talk about our thunderstorm dance party. 3) Personalized: My dad wanted to do a speech, in which parts were timed to music. David was not only willing to help, but very supportive. They coordinated separately and created a beautiful speech that had us in tears. I am so grateful that we booked with David. He is very talented and I would full heartily recommend him. We had a friend play live music for our ceremony, and David made sure that everything was set up so the piano could be heard by everyone, including speakers at the front and back of the venue so the party could hear the music throughout the procession (it was outside and only having one speaker would not have worked). He made sure to fit our music taste perfectly, and people had a great time dancing. My wife and her dad did a mash-up Daddy-Daughter dance, and David created an amazing mix for them, incorporating a dozen or so songs. He also did a fantastic job MCing, informing everyone what was happening next while making sure the day was focused on my wife and me. Every single one of my family members thought very highly of him and were very pleased. He is very professional, kind, courteous and detail oriented. After the meeting he sent us several different worksheets, to make sure that everything he did was customized with our preferences and details. He is very detail oriented, and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect. One advice I would give is to make sure to get the worksheets done early. You don't realize how fast the time goes by right before the wedding. We got so busy with wedding planning that we didn't return the worksheets until a few days before the wedding. Even with the late hand-in, he still took the time to customize everything with our preferences, without giving us a hard time!
