.24). Ray Jones was more than a DJ, he emceed the wedding, came and met with me before everything got started (looking so dapper might I add), just to ease my nerves and make sure everything was set. DJ Ray met with my coordinators and I to go over all details and we all felt so at home with him. If you’re looking for a DJ that is going to treat you more like family, someone who is an expert at their craft, and someone who wants your guests to have the most amazing time then this is your guy. Additionally, it rained on our special day (despite having a clear forecast) and we had to make adjustments to our rooftop ceremony. DJ Ray was able to pivot and honestly played a major role in me forgetting about what didn’t go as planned, because I dance the ENTIRE night away!!! It was truly the most perfect day and I have to thank DJ Ray and his staff for the role they played in making our day special! He checked in with us regularly, played music on our request form, filled those special moments that I forgot about with amazing song choices, knew exactly when to switch the songs up, etc. Everytime I thought about taking a break to sit down, he played another one of my jams! 😂 He was so good, he honestly felt like family! Almost like he had known us for years and knew exactly what to do, just for us. I’m so glad to have had him as part of our special day and do not think anyone else would’ve come close to the experience we had with him! I could speak for a long time on Ray’s professionalism, but what’s equally important is working with someone personable. Ray is kind and has a good sense of humor. We spent almost 20 minutes talking about how the bridal party names are pronounced before introductions, putting us even further behind schedule, and I feel this is something that should’ve been done ahead of time. We noted on our planning sheet there was no garter toss, and the DJ announced for the garter toss to begin and a chair to the floor. We also had a special dance for married couples at our wedding, and it was done completely incorrectly. The DJ called everyone at the wedding to the dance floor instead of just the married couples and did not follow the directions at all. I had to leave the dance floor to tell the DJ how it was supposed to be done, and it took away from the meaningfulness of the dance, leaving our guests confused. I felt like I spent most of my night correctly the DJ and I can honestly say the disorganization ruined my entire night. The music was great, but if you choose to book with this company PLEASE make sure to get the details in line ahead of time, because it felt like they walked in and just picked up our detail sheet for the first time, and I truly regret not reviewing it with them and checking in for questions. They seemed professional and prepared during booking, so we made the mistake of assuming they understood our notes and would reach out with any questions, which they did not. Please learn from our mistakes!

would be many people dancing at the reception but there were people dancing the entire time. It was blast and well worth it. The music variety was amazing. Everyone complimented it. Strongly recommend them if you're looking for a Dj for any event.

hem up on The Knot Website to host my wedding. The wedding was at the Zhou B Art Gallery with 250 guest attending. Months later everyone is still telling me how much fun they had. Audio West was so professional and attentive. My wedding so romantic and we danced all night. In addition, I was enlightened on things for the wedding that I didn't realize. I even incorporated my favorite songs. No regrets! Beautiful service! I thank Ray and the team for being so wonderful!!!

For example, there was a late dispute between our wedding planner and venue regarding electrical service at the event space and it was determined that a 3rd party electrician would need to be hired at our expense, which was at a significant cost. As you can imagine, this caused a great deal of stress considering this was just days before the wedding. We needed a solution fast! Ray stepped in as an arbiter and resolved the issue without us having to hire any additional parties. Of course, this exceeded our expectations as it went above and beyond Entertainment & DJ services. Was the music great? Yes! Did Audio West interact with our guests? Absolutely! Are family and friends still talking about the amount of fun that was had at the reception? You bet! Still, what impressed me about Ray Jones of Audio West was his ability to coexist with other vendors, the ease of doing business with him and the entertainment value he was able to add because of his expertise. Thanks, Ray! We are glad that you were a part of the team on our special day.
