I had a buffet and the food was great. The servers even brought us plates of food so that we didn’t have to go through the buffet line!

Freaking best food and best customer service! We absolutely LOVED working with Aunt Catfish for our wedding. They provide top notch food at a decent price and go above and beyond for their customers. We had a free tasting with them where they brought out SO much food and everything was delicious. BOOK THEM NOW! Oh and you HAVE to get the cinnamon rolls! They were the perfect late night snack for our guests as they left :)

We used Aunt Catfish Catering for our wedding, as well as dined at Aunt Catfish’s restaurant for the rehearsal dinner. Everything was fresh. We were very pleased with the reasonable pricing and timely service. Our guests STILL tell us how much they liked the food. And don’t forget the homemade cinnamon rolls!

Aunt Catfish was part of the package for our vendor and we weren’t sure what to expect at first- we had dined in their restaurant many times and enjoyed it but were told their catering was very different. It is a completely different experience in the absolute best way! The food on the day of our wedding tasted exactly like the food when we went for our tasting. The catering team took care of us and even helped us troubleshoot when COVID took out half our guest list the day before our event. The staff is wonderful but the food truly was incredible - we went with a buffet style dinner with added on carving station. It’s not your average banquet food by any means! Highly recommend their food catering services.

The food was delicious! The staff was so kind, they checked on my husband and I the whole night to make sure we had enough to eat and topping off our drinks.

Aunt Catfish's catering was part of our package with our venue, and we were blown away by the quality of their food and service - this is not your average wedding food! Not only did we enjoy them at our wedding reception, but we also ate at their restaurant two other times during our trip! With Aunt Catfish, you are sure to be treated to a home cooked meal every time. For our tasting, they not only provided a full meal with the majority of our options for the two of us, they also made an equal plate for our Maid of Honor. Jeff, the catering coordinator, really made sure we had what we needed and answered all of our questions.For the size of our wedding, we had a salad, two entrees plus a vegetarian entree, multiple sides, and a variety of breads. Everything was delicious. Our guests were blown away with the flavors and options available - no one left hungry. The staff was attentive, respectful and willing to assist with any dietary requests. They have been in the catering game for decades, so rest assured you will be in great hands! Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

Aunt Catfish was SOOO Amazing! Can we please talk about their cinnamon rolls! They're service was impeccable and every single dish they had tasted AMAZING. I could not have been happier with their service and their professionalism. Everything was served hot, fresh, and on time! They easily served 125 people and cleaned everything too! They were amazing and I definitely recommend for any kind of event!

Southern food with a classy spin. The caterers, the chef....everyone was professional and smiling. They loaded up plates. Everything clean and pulled off without any complication or oversight. Cannot wait to go have dinner on site.

We had Aunt Catfish cater our daughters wedding at “The Estate on the Halifax” the food was simply awesome. It was served “hot” and was quite flavorful. The servers were pleasant and helpful which made the meal enjoyable. We would definitely use them again for future events. We also ate at the restaurant a few times with the same excellent experience.

The Catering Manager was quick to respond and very friendly. They handled everything and made my life easy. The food was delish and one of the workers even made plates for my husband and I which we very much appreciated! We felt like royalty. I highly recommend Aunt Catfish’s on the River!

Aunt Catfish has amazing food. The guests at our wedding kept saying how ours was the "best they've ever been to" simply because of the food. The prime rib was tender and flavorful and the chicken was moist. We can't say enough good things about working with Jeff. The selections are amazing, and if you have the opportunity, definitely request the chocolate fountain - it was such a hit at our wedding!

OMG! Their wedding catering is phenomenal! Everyone I talk to after our wedding keeps telling us how amazing our food was! The service was also extremely professional and prompt and a nice perk for the bride and groom is that they send you away with an extra plate for after the wedding! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Food was my husband's #1 priority for our wedding. Aunt Catfish's catering is NOT your typical wedding food! It far far surpasses in quality and taste your expectations. Jeff was amazing, met with us, fed us tasty treats, and actually ended up insisting I reduce the appetizers by about half. He saved us thousands because he was so honest and told us it would go to waste. Boy was he right! Everytime we see a wedding guest they rant and rave about the food! The prime rib and salmon were our main choices and both were absolutely incredible! I hesitated at first thinking this would be a more casual style of wedding food, but I was beyond thrilled and so were our guests!

Aunt Catfish's did an amazing job on our wedding day. Their staff was so thoughtful, and so professional. They made sure my husband and I got as much food as we wanted, including giving my husband an extra helping of the sirloin, which he really loved. They even packed us to go meals to bring back to our honeymoon suite, which we ended up eating the next day. They also handled our cake cutting and saving the top layer of our cake for us. It was boxed and in the freezer of our honeymoon suite before we even left the reception. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly - so smoothly that we didn't even realize what they were doing. The service was so stellar, and of course, the food was also incredible. One thing all of our guests mentioned was that they LOVED the red potatoes (one of our side dishes). The garlic and herb bread was also a fan favorite. Because I made our desserts, Aunt Catfish's substituted a dessert spread for a grapes/cheese/cracker spread at our cocktail hour - which was perfect for keeping people satisfied between meals. I cannot thank the staff and chefs enough for the incredible experience!

If you want your guests to have a great delicious meal, then you have to book Aunt Catfish. Every single item they cooked was mouth watering. We had the beef tenderloin, Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, corn souffle, broccoli and cheese casserole, and yeast rolls. Everything was heaven. We also had four guests who suffer from Ceiliac disease (they cannot have gluten). Aunt Catfish was so accommodating. They asked us for the table number before hand and served each individual separably at no extra charge (we did a buffet). That truly meant a lot to us. Finally, their staff was so kind. They made a huge boxed dinner for my husband and I so we would have something to eat when we got back to our hotel room. They continually checked on my husband and I to make sure we did not need a thing. I promise you will not be disappoint if you book Aunt Catfish.

Aunt Catfish catered our wedding at the Estate on the Halifax and we were not disappointed! Jeff was so down to earth and so kind. We did a tasting a few weeks before the wedding and Jeff went all out, with TONS of food. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a chance to experience all of the options and sat with us for over an hour. The overall presentation during the reception was great and the food was delicious. The staff was extremely attentive and kind, always making sure the bride and groom had everything they needed. 100% recommend the cinnamon rolls!!!

Excellent catering service! The food is delicious! All of our guests loved their food. They have a great selection for everyone. We had two guests with diet restrictions and they went out of their way to make a special plate of food for them. All of the staff was really friendly and efficient. I highly recommend their catering service.

We are so glad we had Jeff and his team cater our wedding at the Estate on the Halifax! Their menu was full of delicious home cooking options which was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our big day. We had so many people compliment the food and ask where it came from that they all went to have lunch there the next morning after the wedding! Jeff made it so easy to set up a tasting and build our menu and we didn't have to worry about anything else after that. I would absolutely recommend Aunt Catfish to anyone looking for a great caterer or even just a great lunch in the port orange area!

As the mother of the bride living out of state, my daughter and her fiance did most of the planning. This was their only choice, and our guests are still paying compliments. The staff was incredible and I am sorry I didn't thank them enough in person. They were professional and kind. Finally, the food on our buffet was DELICIOUS! I wish I'd eaten more. :) Before dinner, I had out of town guests at my table that tried to get to Aunt Catfish's restaurant prior to the wedding - but it was too crowded. I was thrilled to tell them they were having it at the wedding! They loved it.

Aunt Catfish’s on the River maintains a very busy restaurant, and with good reason. Their offerings of fresh seafood and homestyle meals are delectable. For these reasons alone, we were happy to have chosen them, but Aunt Catfish’s catering of our event at the Estate on the Halifax went above and beyond our expectations. Our initial tasting was varied and gave us an excellent idea of our meal planning. Their coordinator Jeff knew the venue inside and out, and gave us excellent advice on timing, layouts, and selections. On our wedding day, their staff was extremely courteous and attended to our every need, delivering food and even packaging up plates and dessert for us at the end of our night. We haven't even gotten to our wedding day yet and I just have to rate 5 stars for our taste test today! My Fiancé and mother came with me (the bride) to meet with Jeff and it was one of the best experiences I have had to date with the entire wedding. I absolutely cannot wait to have our first meal together as Mr. and Mrs. I already know nothing will compare! Jeff was amazing as I have many food allergies myself and with our guests that will be attending. I am SO thankful that everyone will be able to eat something on our wedding day. The pan seared parmesan chicken is hands down the best chicken I have ever had. Don't get me started on the cinnamon rolls... I could eat my weight in them!!!

Jeff with Aunt Catfish simply was the best. He kept in touch, answered all our questions, and was very pleasant during our tasting! The food was fantastic on the day of and everyone commented how delicious everything was! Thank you so much Jeff! We are so happy we got to work with you!

First off, Jeff is wonderful to work with. No deposit down, very informal in the best way- just give him a call, meet up and choose menus, pay on the day of the wedding! He's been doing this for decades and has every detail down. The whole staff was very friendly, professional, and hardworking. Second, the food is INCREDIBLE. Had many guests say it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. They have several menu choices and are flexible with substitutions (ie, cheese and grape platter instead of dessert, etc.). Would absolutely recommend!

When I first saw the name of this caterer I was a bit nervous, but let me tell you, this is the best decision you will make for your wedding. The food was spectacular and the staff was professional and friendly. We had a buffet wedding with filet mignon and Italian chicken. My guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was. In fact, my maid of honor is a steak connoisseur and she had 4ths of the filet. Jeff was so kind and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this vendor for your wedding!

There food is amazing! It does not taste like your typical wedding food. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was on our wedding night! We had a buffet and guests kept going back for seconds...it truly was so good! Jeff, the catering manager, is a very nice person to work with. He consults with you over the phone to get an idea of what you desire for your wedding and then has a private food tasting for the bride and groom and two additional guests. We were beyond stuffed when we left the food tasting. I am truly happy we chose Aunt Catfish's to cater our wedding....one of the best decisions we made! Keep up the great work! Thanks a million!

Jeff with Aunt Catfishes was great!! We told him the things that he needed to know and that was all that we had to worry about. Jeff and his team did a fantastic job coordinating the food and the buffet line! They took care of my husband and I during the reception by bringing us our food and packing a meal for both of us for after the wedding just in case we were unable to eat during the reception. The food was delicous and everyone that came to the wedding really enjoyed the food!!

Kudos and Cheers to the amazing team at Aunt Catfish! Jeff and his team were flawless in their execution, and everyone (yes, everyone) complimented how great the food was! The service staff was more that willing to help in any way they could, and were friendly and professional. Perfect 10!

Every guest had more than positive things to say! We had a cracker and cheese display (which had a ton left over), meatballs, and mini egg rolls. All were very yummy. Also, caesar salad (which was served to the guests), Italian crumb chicken, sirloin, mashed potatoes (amazing!), fresh green beans, and broccoli cheese casserole. So good!

Aunt Catfish & Mr. Marshall did an outstanding job for my wedding! The food was amazing, the linens were beautiful and the service was perfect! If that was not enough, Mr. Marshall noticed a wedding guest not eating- and found out she had a gluten allergy that did not fit our menu. Without my knowledge, he went back to the restaurant and had a meal prepared that the guest could eat! I found out about this a few days after the event, and I could not have felt any better about my decision to use this vendor. I would recommend this for any catering need or simply going to their restaurant to enjoy their delicious food!

You will not get boring wedding food that doesn't taste good with these people. The food was so delicious my guests could not stop talking about it. I really loved that they allowed my guests to go up and get seconds as well. They were so great to work with and the price was right.
