Aury took the time to get to know us and figure out exactly what we were looking for - he even humored us by doing a mini photoshoot with us and our cats before the ceremony. Second, as someone who is always uncomfortable in front of the camera, Aury was incredibly patient with me and gave me lots of very helpful posing direction which led to the first posed photos I felt truly beautiful in. Third, we selected Aury because we loved his documentary style photographs and he really delivered in this area for us. You can feel the emotions of our day radiating from our pictures and I'm obsessed. Finally, in our initial phone interview, Aury had the best response in regards to working with children during the wedding (something along the lines of "love them, they're always doing something adorable") and it shows up in our photos. There were five kids in our tiny COVID wedding, and even between their shyness and non-stop running around, he still managed to capture beautiful moments with each of them.

knew there would be a few specific photos I wanted, I didn’t want all my wedding pictures to look/be posed. I wanted to be able to look back through my wedding photos years from now and be able to relive real, genuine moments. Aury is extremely talented at capturing natural interactions. His photos can simultaneously look professional while also hold that effortlessness of a snapshot taken at just the right moment. You can clearly see this looking through his website and social media pages, so I am stating the obvious by saying his photos are absolutely beautiful. What you can’t know by looking through his photos is how personable, down to earth, and just a genuinely good person Aury is. Our wedding was August 15th, 2020. We had everything planned and ready go, and then COVID. For anyone who had a wedding this year… you know how difficult the planning was. The uncertainty, the changing of dates/venues/guest lists/etc. Aury was so understanding and supportive of any decisions my husband and I made during this time. He was quick in his responses and was patient with us as we re-planned the majority of our wedding. We are so grateful for his kindness to us through the whole process. I want to also highlight his work the day of the wedding. Tara, his wife, was there as well to assist, and they both had such calm and professional demeanors throughout the entire day. The morning of the wedding was busy (to put it mildly), but Aury effortlessly blended right in and captured the moments as they happened. Tara was an amazing support and help as well. She made sure we didn’t miss any of the pictures from the list I had made, as well as helped with body and veil positioning. I don’t recall Aury taking a break, besides trying to sneak in a bite of steak here and there for dinner- he literally took pictures for close to the entire 10 hour day, which I think is incredible. We received our digital photos within a few weeks from the wedding and were so immensely happy with how they turned out. I looked at them all every night for weeks after. The icing on the cake was coming home recently to find a package on our front step from Aury. Inside was a beautiful wooden box filled with some of our favorite photos, as well as a wood encased USB drive of all our photos. Ultimately, I would 100% recommend Aury to be your wedding day photographer!

d Aury G Photography because he was competitively priced and had great photos, we loved his style. Since COVID hit, our plans have changed about five hundred times due to family, constant regulation changes, and just planning a wedding during this crazy time. Each time I had to message him to say hey it's changed again and I've felt absolutely ridiculous (how many times can you re-decide something? Apparently a lot). Regardless of this Aury has been 100% in, super flexible, offering advice when asked and over all I feel lucky to work with such a wonderful person. You can tell he truly cares about making your day special. If plans aren't firm, if you're not sure what your day will look like but know you want to get married and need a photographer please reach out to him. He will be working with us this year for our intimate wedding 5/29/20 and again next year for our large wedding. look at the pictures which is so important because the day just flies by. He is super quick in taking wedding portraits of the wedding party and does awesome work with just the bride and groom shots. Anything that is important to you is important to him. Be sure to take advantage of the paperwork he sends you before the wedding (questionnaire) as he works to get everything you have asked for. We have a wonderful gallery of photos that we will cherish forever. Not to mention our wedding day was cold and rainy and we had to take on our plan b for our ceremony... but no worries, I think the pictures turned out better than they would have been with our initial plan. o know is that they are good at both the technical parts of their job and the communicative parts of their job which is very important when you're stressed before and during your wedding. Being a photographer myself for a long time, I was very picky. Like most people, we still had a budget to stick to and I quickly became frustrated at how difficult it was to find wedding vendor pricing information. Everyone had an over-complicated form to fill out just to find out if they were in our budget at all, or even available on our date! I was having to send out details of our love story to everyone just to find out they were too expensive or already booked. It was exhausting to talk to so many people just to qualify them. When I was considering photographers, one of the most important things to me was to see an entire wedding they had shot. When you see more than just the absolute favorites, you can get a good idea of how they handle more difficult moments. Things like movement, indoor darkness. nighttime darkness, etc. Aury and Tara are great at moving around everyone without being in the way and still making sure to light everyone correctly. It's an extremely difficult task and I was let down by quite a few others whose personality I had initially loved and who's "best of" wedding galleries looked impressive. The thing that drew me to using Aury and Tara the most was that they was so straight forward right out of the gate. You can find wedding sessions right on his website and you don't have to tell your life story just to check dates and prices. On top of that, he was just as easygoing and straight-forward when we met in person. It's clear that he knows what he's doing and you won't have to think about it. As an added bonus, we got our wedding gallery back in about 2 weeks, which is very fast and we loved our images! In conclusion, we strongly recommend Aury G Photography. Using them was low-stress and our images were beautiful, fun, and fast! Thank you Aury and Tara!

photos I didn't even realize he was taking. This allowed me to stay in the moment and not worry about how I was looking in a photo (which I think is everything you want in a wedding photographer). A great example of this is, my husband gave me letters to open before we got married. Aury captured a photo of all of this but the last one was my favorite. It is a view of the letter where you can see my husband's signature. It made me cry because it brought me right back to opening such a sweet gift and how excited I was to walk down that aisle to marry him. I am so happy with everything and it makes it even better that Aury and his wife are truly wonderful people. They are so sweet and kind. We are so happy we were able to share our day with them! I've seen in other photos. He loves to capture candid and in the moment photos, which I love. He does not charge on a time-limit which was important to us, and he was prompt at showing up to the salon when we had planned, and he stayed late into the dance. He was wonderful to have around and did not get frustrated with the wedding party as I have had experience with in the past with other photographers of weddings I've been in. Highly recommend!!!
