Austen was nothing short of amazing!!!! We hired Austen to be our videographer because I seen a couple for weddings videos he’s done prior and once I got done watching them, I said he’s the one! Throughout the search, we’ve had many vendors cancel, missed appointments, and lack of professionalism but Austen was NEVER one of those vendors. He asked us what we wanted, gave us some ideas, the day of wedding didn’t go as planned but he adapted and made it work, and was thriving the whole time! I thank God for allowing us to cross paths with him because he’s a person you’ll never forget and same for his work! This review has been a long time coming. I cannot recommend Austen enough. I was a bride with major day-before regrets about not getting a videographer. My photographer sent feelers out people she has previously worked with asking about a last minute wedding job. Austen immediately reached out to me with a friendly heartfelt text! I loved that he wasn’t pushy and came from a place of true passion to be able to best help us capture the day. Naturally, the first thing I did was watch some of his previous wedding videos and they were so so so beautiful but I noticed many were religious. Total transparency, I was nervous that we might not be right for him or he may judge us because we were getting married on a rooftop by our officiant friend and not in a church. Let me tell you- that was a large misconception on my end. I only mention this because if you have a similar reservation - let hesitation go immediately. Austen didn’t even bat an eye at our untraditional wedding. When we spoke, he was in to another state that he had traveled to to film a Friday wedding but said he'd happily book a flight for “Tomorrow morning” (aka Saturday- my wedding day). We both wanted to chat before hand to get to know each other a little bit more. I didn’t know what to expect but I was shocked- Where did you meet? Who is important in your love story? All questions I didn’t think a videographer would even CARE about. It wasn’t all about getting the shot for him. He wanted to know us, learn our quirks and really figure out what made our love special. To me, that mindset is so important and purposeful so we immediately we booked him. I woke up wedding morning and Austen was already on the street doing aerial drone shots of the venue! Right then I knew I made the right choice. He captured moments I don’t even remember happening. My family has said Austen was the best money spent on the whole wedding. The video he created is something we’ve already watched soooo many times and will cherish for the rest of our lives. I always wished my parents had a video of their wedding and I feel so blessed that we will eventually get to share this beautiful day with our children. If you are looking for a good communicator who genuinely cares about your love story. BOOK HIM NOW. We can’t thank you enough Austen! I will be recommending to my friends(:
