ood day-of tips. I had to reschedule my wedding twice and she was also so flexible in helping me reschedule, which I'm so thankful for. Since I am in Austin and she's now based in Dallas, she wasn't able to attend my venue walkthru but did conference call in.

er quote on quote crew. The 2 random older people that she had with her looked just like her friend's and not qualified help. How I know this is because when tieing shashes on the chairs, one of the women looked at me and said I've never done this b4...🙄... After I had already gotten my makeup ready and hair done. I was making sure all the tiny details were in place. I had asked to put fairy lights in my centerpieces. I was doing it when she shooed me away saying her staff would take care of it. Well they didn't after we walked in I saw that there's no runner on our head table as well, even tho I had 10 runners she threw 2 unused ones under the table did nothing with them. So I got my guests to put up fairy lights with tears because why are we paying her when she's not doing anything we asked. I also pulled out a runner for our table before the photographer got any closer shots. I was so upset. On top of it she had the lights glaring in reception when I had obviously put blue uplighting and then tiny blue lights everywhere. And yet the atmosphere was still not set. My first romantic dance with my husband was not so romantic..with the lights on everywhere. To mk things worse my envelope box was not put up properly with our wooden sign with our names on it, she didn't even take out of the box to put on. Including the lock that was supposed to be locked on it. Let's just say we have guests cards missing from it, and we are very upset because I worked on These decorations for about 2 years at home. Prepping for Wedding. I had an amazing vision of what it would look like and she ruined most of it, she had not a lick of talent in the wedding planning department. She definitely couldn't keep up with what I asked for so no I will not recommend her!! Even my guests commented on her smug look on her face was not welcoming at all and definitely not helpful. She is in wrong profession if she can't be happy outgoing go getter she is not. She was barely helping her "staff" to put things together just as slow as she could. There was no pep in her step. 🤬

e kept us on schedule and ran interference when need be! She was there for every request I had, and even came through with bug spray when I was getting bitten by mosquitos while taking photos outside. Now that's what I call being prepared. I really couldn't have done it without her.

help as a day of coordinator, but she also helped give suggestions for some vendors when I was feeling overwhelmed before the wedding. Barbara went above and beyond! She met with me personally twice before the wedding, ran through a timeline over the phone with me, and always responded to my texts and emails in a prompt manner. She also reached out to every one of our vendors prior to the wedding to make sure they were aware of the timeline of events. We sincerely cannot recommend her enough :)

h she was only hired as a day-of coordinator, she was willing to help me with some of the more difficult decisions leading up to the wedding. She truly went above and beyond. Barbara was always an EXTREME pleasure to work with and her experience as a wedding coordinator truly shows!
Leading up to the big day, she attended a final vendor meeting with my mother and I, and questions prepared for each of the vendors to iron out any wrinkles in the schedule. Then, she provided a detailed schedule (down to the minute!) for the actual wedding day. She was in contact with each of the individual vendors herself and reviewed all the contracts to make sure nothing had been missed.
On the day of the wedding, her and her lovely assistant help to set up the tables, coordinate the vendors, and just make sure that everything was going as scheduled. There was so much to do that I know that without the help Barbara and her assistant, there is no way that everything would have gotten finished on time for the ceremony.
I give the highest recommendation for Barbara at Austin Event Studio. HER PRICES ARE UNBEATABLE! I am talking, people were charging FIVE TIMES as much for the same services and not-so-hot reviews. This is who you should go with! Literally a life saver and I couldn't imagine my big day without her help. Thanks Barbara!!!

e met with us several times & always followed up with emails quickly. With the package we bought, she allowed us to use many of her awesome wedding decorations! They blended so nicely with the items I selected!! She sent us a nice copy of the finalized design plan (which was a huge relief for the DIY bride).
Barbara showed up to the venue early (for day-of coordination & decoration). We had TONS of people helping out, so when I stepped away for hair & make-up, I was a little nervous as to how things would end up. When I came back into the room, I was overwhelmed with excitement because everything looked AMAZING. The tables were set up beautifully.
Throughout the wedding, she made sure we stayed on schedule, but she wasn't obtrusive. We would definitely recommend Barbara for wedding services.
