a joy to work with. We were blessed to be incredibly happy with all of the vendors we chose - and Austin was still the best of the best. Obviously a lot goes into choosing the right photographer - our thoughts on some of those below: Value: While Austin is not the cheapest photographer on the market, he is an unbelievable value. Of all the photography options we considered he was still near the low end in price, while having a simple pricing model that won't nickel and dime you. You own all of the photos he takes, get your engagement session included with wedding packages, and if he needs a second photographer for the wedding day it is included in the price you see. Communication/Personality: Austin places a high importance on feeling like he knows the couple on a personal level before wedding day - this allows him to truly capture your relationship and you to feel as comfortable as possible. He is incredibly patient, friendly, personable, and easy to communicate with. We left feeling like we had known him our whole lives - while still remaining professional. We met up with him for drinks and to chat 3 or 4 times throughout the process - as a result we felt incredibly familiar by wedding day - taking a lot of the pressure or awkwardness out of the intimate moments he was capturing. If you prefer someone who will simply show up the day of, take pictures, and be on their way then Austin may not be your first choice - but we saw his involvement as a huge pro. Work Product - Austin's photos speak for themselves. He shoots with a timeless style and minimal editing (he touches up pictures very nicely as necessary, but works largely with natural colors, saturations, and settings). While he doesn't guarantee a certain number of photos, you are given access to and ownership of any picture he takes - we ended up with far more engagement and wedding photos than we expected - and he doesn't cap or limit how many you get the rights to like other photographers. His turnaround times were also incredible - we got access to our engagement shots within a week and all of our wedding pictures in less than a month. He is also incredibly polite but efficient and effective in directing portraits, family shots, and keeping the event moving along day of. Another unique thing Austin provides is his incredibly lengthy and helpful wedding prep guidebook. It is full of little tips, tricks, lists, and things to plan - both photography related and not. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and is very generous in sharing it. All this to say, we couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our special day. Do yourself a favor and put Austin your shortlist of wedding photographers!

We love that his package includes unlimited photos because so many photographers we talked to limited how many photos they would provide and we wanted to see every moment of our day. We met up at a coffee shop beforehand to get to know each other and feel comfortable. Day of, it was raining & that didn’t stop him from working his butt off. ly impressed with how easily he directly our wedding party and family to capture all of the shots we requested. He is also extremely timely and provided us with sneak peeks of both our engagement photos and wedding photos a few days after the shoots. And he even returned our full wedding gallery of 1100+ photos ~3 weeks after the wedding! He provided a wide variety of photos capturing every element of the day with diverse backdrops and posing. We have so many photos we love that we are struggling to choose our favorites!
