Austins is a bit on the pricey side, but is the only option if you want to get married at Brookgreen Gardens. Our tasting experience was great (the restaurant has a beautiful view ...of the ocean), and we also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant. Communication was a little disjointed, but once our planner stepped in everything went smoothly. Our guests were very pleased with the food and the bar service. it would have been great if the meals that had been paid for but weren't served (due to guests not being able to come last minute) had been boxed up, as well as the bottles of champagne that were paid for but not opened, but everything else went very well. While you have no choice if your wedding is at Brookgreen Gardens, the food is delicious, and they are the exclusive caterer for the Gardens so they know exactly what can and can't be done.
