If you’re looking for a highly skilled professional photographer Autumn is your person. Trust me, on the day of you need a photographer that is basically your day of coordinator too. She is so good at planning on the fly and making sure everything is staying on schedule. Her and her crew were so helpful day of willing to jump in wherever needed. She helps you plan your big day to make sure none of your special pictures are missed (by this I mean a whole day of timeline and an outline for all the family pictures. That is a huge help!) This is your ONE big day. Make sure you have the best to capture this big day. Autumn is for sure the best. 💜 P.S. she also works her butt off to get you your pictures back in a timely manner. That’s a pretty big deal!

We absolutely loved working with Autumn! I was a little hesitant to hire a photographer since my fiancé and I are relatively new to the area and didn’t really know anyone. I found Autumn online and decided to take a chance. Autumn was so easy to work with and she was even easier to talk to. Autumn takes beautiful photos and is a great human to work with. She is very organized and helped us every step of the way to make sure the photos we wanted were captured on our wedding day. She is a good listener but takes charge and gives direction in a way that relieved me (the bride) or a lot of stress. We look forward to working with Autumn again to capture other big moments.

I've known Autumn for a few years, and I knew there was no other photographer I wanted to my wedding. She's kind and professional to all she works with. She makes sure the bride and groom's wants are met and goes above and beyond to do so. In turn, the photos I received are gorgeous, particularly the sunset photos!

Our entire experience with Autumn was fantastic. From our initial meeting over coffee, to the sunset portraits during our reception, she was continuously cheerful, upbeat, flexible and exceedingly helpful! She made us feel comfortable and relaxed for all of our sessions and directed our (large!) family photos with kindness and expertise. All of our photos turned out beautifully and she had a surprisingly quick turnaround time in giving us access! Listen - I had no wedding planner, and no clue about day of timelines. It hadn't yet dawned on me that this was something I needed to worry about until Autumn emailed me a draft! She answered all my questions on planning logistics and even texted me several times in the months leading up to the wedding to check on my stress levels. She quickly became more than a vendor to us; it felt as though a close friend was taking our pictures! We are so excited to follow along and support her future projects!

Autumn did our engagement photo and she did such a great job! She made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She chose a beautiful park and the photos turned out FANTASTIC! 100% would trust her and recommend her to my fellow brides :)

She went far above her call of duty (including answering my random phone calls and text messages) to make sure I was comfortable and cared for throughout this process. She was THE BEST! I loved everything about her and her work! It was a last minute call, and she was so nice and excited to do our little cerimony. The pictures, what I can say? Beyond words. My husband and I could not be happier with Autumn Howell Photography! She was so amazing to work with from beginning to end. She was very quick to respond and willing to talk through ideas whenever I reached out to her, and offered very useful insight when it came to the timeline for the day. She wasn’t pushy or bossy or anything when it came to making the timeline – she was so good about just being honest with me when she thought something needed tweaked. I can honestly say that I knew whenever she made a suggestion, she made my husband and I a priority. She put so much thought into making sure my husband and I had time to just enjoy being newlyweds on our wedding day, and that we weren’t feeling rushed getting pictures done. The fact that she had a whole questionnaire for us to fill out in terms of what our wishes were when it came to photos took so much stress off of myself, and made me think of things that I otherwise wouldn’t have! She was truthfully a dream to work with, and made me feel so less anxious about the big day! In terms of how much she helped with my timeline, she really ended up being so much more to me than just my photographer. And her pictures were simply amazing! I could go on and on about how much we love how they turned out, both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. I get compliments all the time on the lighting, editing, poses, etc. I really don’t have a single complaint! Her turnaround time for both our engagement photos and wedding day photos was so quick and efficient; we even got sneak peeks just one or two days after the event! The gallery she utilizes is so user friendly, which made it very easy for me to share the album with friends and family. I love how comfortable she made Dan and I, and we got some amazing pictures of us just being “us” because of her shooting style. I also was so happy that she offered the option of having a second photographer at the wedding – Autumn alone would certainly be amazing by herself in any setting, but I especially liked having the extra shots and angles that the second photographer provided. Having the second photographer helped us capture not just photos of my husband and I, but our family’s reactions and so many precious candid shots. All in all, I can’t say enough how happy I am to have happened across Autumn’s photography page! I am so looking forward to having her shoot future family sessions for us!

Autumn was recommended to us by a close friend for our wedding photos, and we are so happy that we went with her. We live in Portland, OR and were planning our wedding in Muncie, IN. We weren't sure if we would have a chance to take engagement photos, but on a quick trip home Autumn was able to meet us for an engagement session while we were brewing beer with our wedding party. She is so nice and friendly that we immediately felt at ease with her on the other end of the camera. She was very helpful in suggesting different ways to pose as well as capturing the best candid photos in between. On the wedding day, we hardly even noticed her or her second shooter there but they captured EVERYTHING. The photos are so beautiful and we'll cherish them for forever. Thank you so much, Autumn!

LOVED working with Autumn. We had a small, quickly planned, low-budget wedding and debated not hiring a photographer and asking a friend or family member to take photos. SO glad that we hired Autumn for two hours instead. She responded very quickly to my initial inquiry (which was very important because of the short planning time) and all subsequent questions. She could not have been easier to work with! Initially I was a little concerned because we didn’t get to meet her in person because we don’t live in Indiana and because she hadn’t been to our venue. Neither were an issue at all. We got along really well with Autumn and everyone at the wedding was talking about how organized and great she was. Also, she contacted other photographers that had photographed weddings at our venue and got some tips from them - which was such a great idea. After the wedding, Autumn turned around our photos incredibly fast. We had a couple previews the very next day, a blog entry with a dozen more a week later, and the full gallery about two weeks after the wedding. I’d hire Autumn again in a heartbeat and recommend her hands down!

Let me preface this review with admitting I have known Autumn for quite a few number of years now. She actually had taken pictures of me when I was in high school during my color guard years and even helped teach us some knew moves and stretches along the way. It has been amazing watching her turn something she did for fun into a career for herself. I really appreciate her natural light and captured moments still. Posed photos are great but nothing really captures the essence of a moment quite like natural shots, and Autumn's natural shots are nothing short of artistic excellence. Autumn was kind enough to take our engagement photos in 2016 and our wedding photos in early October of this year. Our engagement photos were Beauty and the Beast themed with a forest-y background and Autumn already had come up with some amazing ideas on how to capture the moments I wanted our friends and family to see as our engagement and announcement photos. The photos we took came out beautifully and were a huge hit with everyone who received an announcement. Autumn has such a kind and pleasant personality that she was a very calming piece in my chaotic pre-ceremony schedule the morning of our wedding. I was so glad Autumn had extensive knowledge of the classic poses that every bride dreams of having but tend to forget because of all the wedding day nerves. She also makes sure she has a thorough list of what the bride and groom want shot the day of their wedding which makes it easier on the couple without having to remember every detail they wanted captured. After our wedding has been all said and done, I can honestly say I am in love with every photo Autumn captured. She captured everything we wanted and then some! They are all beautifully edited and are something I will cherish for the rest of my life. So if anyone is looking for an excellent photographer at a modest price, I highly recommend booking with Autumn Howell Photography! You will get beautiful photos and beautiful memories to look back on and will never be disappointed!

Autumn was amazing to work with! She made everything very stress free and let us be ourselves throughout the whole process. Autumn did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day. It snowed 10 inches and the pictures are incredible. Something that was important to us was NOT doing a first look. I was worried vendors would try to convince us otherwise, but Autumn was so easy to work with and never tried to get us to change our mind. I would recommend Autumn to my family and friends!
