It’s a piece of art lovingly crafted out of some of the most special moments of the most magical time of my life.   I was nervous about a million things, and everyone says the day will zip by. It did, actually, but then there were all these big and small moments that were captured that I will always be able to recall - because when I watch our wedding I see a version of myself caught in time. It feels ethereal and perfect and even those parts that didn’t go as planned, with them being captured this way, I can enjoy lingering on the sweetness of surprise.  I’m just really pleased. I spent a lot of time reading reviews, picking out stylists and making the plans, and it was so nice to hand the reins for this aspect over to a creative professional – and get back a high quality, aesthetic, edited to perfection video.  If you are considering adding this element to your wedding, do it! You’ll have a tangible piece of art from your day plus the video/social reels. It’s incredible to have someone capture so many sacred moments on film.   And there’s something really special about the look of it too, the grain, the texture. I can compare to the digital images, and although I love those too, there’s just a certain je ne sais quoi that lives through the film.   It’s a trendy thing now, but I have always been into things like this that have a special touch to them. I am just one of those people that even as a kid I loved vintage things. I got to wear my grandmother’s wedding dress that I had restored! Yup, I definitely wanted to have our wedding captured in this way. It added to my whole look.   Film reels can last a hundred years. I have so many digital things I can’t access even just a few years later. I have a certain piece of mind that although I have the digital copy, I also have the film reels.
