The service was impeccable, and the servers were dressed so crisp and neat, all of them were constantly taking care of my guests; my mom would have taken all home. The menu put together for the reception was spot on making the feeling of a holiday meal for all the guests. We were able to do a tasting with them which was amazing, but the appetizers and dessert fell a bit short day of compared to what we had at the tasting. The apricot crusted chicken was amazing! They let us customize the entire menu to make it perfect for our big day. We were supposed to have mini pies and cheesecake bites, but then regular pies and cheesecakes were left on the table with tinfoil still on. No serving plates or silverware provided despite the deviation from the original plan. Overall, on time, good presentation of meal food, fair communication, but small/cold appetizers and not the desserts we expected. Very inclusive and kind company.

he perfect caterer to fulfill our LOTR foodie dreams. They were just as enthusiastic as us and were so creative in designing a personalized menu to suit our needs. They even came up with the perfect names for each dish such as a “Shire-cuterie” grazing table with the best cheese we have ever tasted. In addition, they were so personable and overall had a beautiful celebratory energy that blended in so well with our celebration. From start to finish they were fast, efficient, and professional. The food was outstanding, and I cannot praise enough the care put into making our experience as memorable as possible. We will be hiring them again for smaller events, they were that good! As we were preparing the menus for the multiple meals throughout the weekend, Chef Alexis and Leo catered to our every need - they provided many custom proposals (so much variety and great vegetarian-friendly options!), made time to have phone calls as often as we needed, created/updated menus multiple times as we refined our needs. Their contract was reasonable in terms of timeline to finalize guest count and their pricing was extremely transparent. They also allowed us to customize anything we wanted in their package. During the entire weekend, they brought the best energy, big smiles, and the most amazing food that we could all tell was cooked with love. We had 3 different meals with them - an American food dinner, a BBQ dinner, and a brunch. Though the weekend was more casual, Chef Alexis and Leo were super professional interacting with us and taking care of the guests. They were on site early, food was prepared and ready to go according to the timelines we agreed on, and they had final touches on each meal to make it special (mimosa wall, picnic decorations for the BBQ, etc.). It was the best experience working with them and having them feed us all weekend long! Thank you Chef Alexis and Leo - we are beyond happy and everyone left with full stomachs and happy hearts.

Communication is directly with the head chef's which help to ensure any questions are answered quickly and efficiently. Event staff was very professional and a joy to have at our event. This team made the entire process stress free, and we were beyond grateful to have found this team for our wedding.

When your guests continue to come up to you during the party and volunteer special comments about the taste, the presentation and abundance of the food, it’s very meaningful. When there is continuous mention of the quality of the service and that needs are being met, it screams success. When I and my bride can look around the reception and see happy, smiling faces enjoying their food and drink, it warms our heart. Our wedding was modest in size but complicated in mix because we had an important group of vegan and gluten-free guests and we felt strongly they must be as comfortable as all others. This was a huge success – Chef Alexis knows vegan and knows gluten-free! Laura and I are extremely happy to recommend AV Gourmet to anyone having any type of small or large reception in the future.

The display was beautiful, the food was delicious, and everything was hot. Chef Alexis and Leo were both very punctual and never late, even when we were late. They even did brunch for us where they actually cooked inside of our cabins for the wedding party. We had snacks for getting ready, which was amazing. The rehearsal dinner was a beautiful display and amazing food. People were talking about the food for weeks after the wedding. They even packaged up the extra food, and had it placed in our honeymoon cabin after the wedding so that we had food to eat for the next two days. They even made us a pie bar, which was amazing and delicious! Their food plans are customizable, and they were able to provide us with vegan and gluten-free options. Leo was our wedding planner and day of coordinator, and he also did a phenomenal job. I’m so thankful for Leo, and enjoyed everything along the way. He came with me to help me pick flowers out, sometimes we had drinks together, we played with the floral arrangements together, I just really had a good time planning and bouncing ideas off of each other. He helped us mail out invitations, which was nice. That was a part of the wedding planning that I was really not looking forward to, and Leo was kind enough to mail out all of our invitations for us. There were a lot of hiccups with the venue, and a lot of obstacles that Alexis and Leo had to navigate. These were things that could not be predicted, but Alexis and Leo were able to save the day. I was shocked to learn the obstacles that they had to navigate for the day of the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding, and I was even more shocked that they were successful in navigating it. I’m still amazed at how they were able to navigate these hiccups!!! They were 100% dedicated to us, into making sure that our day went smoothly and was everything that we ever dreamed it would be. I am so thankful for them both, and everything that they did for us for our wedding. I highly recommend them. We have made new friends in Alexis and Leo, and look forward to watching them grow and succeed more and more!! Wr love you, Alexis and Leo!!

They provided us with more than what we even expected. If you have a wedding or party and want a professional chef with good food and service, we recommend AV Gourmet! they had to deal with a MOB that was trying to macro manage the whole event but they did an amazing job. Joanna coordinated the wedding, and Chef Alexis' cooking was OVER THE TOP. My guests still rave about the food. Let's start for the Shrimp n Grits, I now understand why the call it "Award Winner Shrimp n Grits", because they are the best shrimp n grits ever, SPECTACULAR FLAVORS. Then let me describe you the BRUSCHETTA BAR, the tomato basil was delicious, the white bean and Kale delicious and healthy. For the dinner the salad was beautiful and flavorful, not your average salad and the photographer took so many pictures because was absolutely beautiful. The Chicken entree had the guests talking and quiet, nobody said a word, they just ate, ate and ate. lol But when the salmon came, OMG the Lemon Caper sauce, the guests requested bread to eat the sauce with bread and clean the plate. We also had the Ribeye Carving Station, the chimichurri on top was absolutely the cherry on top. For desserts we had the Pie Bars, what a great end for a night full of dancing, laughs and great food. The caramel apple pie was my favorite but my guests loved the peach cobbler as well. If you ever need a caterer that makes you feel that you are unique, definitely you need to hire AV Gourmet, the process was flawless and customized. Leo planned and communicated with me and my husband, we worked on different alternatives for the menu but Leo and Chef Alexis' guidance selected the best for us and it showed. The venue owner who was on the property that night added them as preferred vendors because according to her it was the best food ever served ever. You can feel the passion and love for what they do. A lot of my guests will be calling them for other events and for the Holidays, everyone wants to try again their delicious food. And I forgot about the balsamic green beans. wow they were the best beans I ever had and if you want to have a description of the Mac n Cheese, please the is the best Mac n Cheese and the most delicious Mac n Cheese, I woud hire them again just to have more of that Mac n Cheese. The best caterer you can ever imagine, the best food you can ever imagine, the best personalized service you can ever imagine and the best team in town. I would highly recommend them for any event.
