The entire experience of my bridal appointment was amazing. My stylist was very patient and understanding of my indecisiveness. She kept my vision in mind, even as it changed throughout the process, and found me my perfect dress. She even helped fit me into her schedule the day after my initial appointment so I could have a night to consider my final decision.

This was my first dress shopping experience and walked away with my dress! My stylist was so sweet, encouraging and helpful. I really wasn't sure what I wanted, and she did an awesome job helping me narrow down my choices! She kept me well within my budget even with the additions for alternations! 10/10 recommend!

Ava Laurénne saved the day when my first wedding dress was lost by the dry cleaners just 30 days before my wedding. They got me in the very next day, even though I had not bought my first dress from them, and were so kind and helpful. I was afraid my appointment would be a bit of a downer, since I didn’t have any friends or family in town to go with me. But Julie was like an immediate best friend, she was very upbeat and I had so much fun even under the circumstances. Julie was very careful to proactively look up which dresses would be available on my short time frame, and I ended up going home with a new dress I liked even better than my first. Would highly recommend Ava Laurenne to any bride! My sister got her dress here a few months prior to me, and I noticed how professional and excellent they were at choosing and narrowing down dresses for her based on her preferences. She was able to get a dress she loved on her first visit and I was too! They are true professionals and didn't try to sell me on a dress I didn't like, and were patient when I wanted to try gowns on multiple times. Ava Laurenne was absolutely wonderful. I did a walk-in appointment with my mom and had a vague idea of what I was looking for but had never tried on dresses before to know if that was accurate. Brittany was my consultant and she helped guide me through the whole process and made me feel like I was actually heard when she asked me what I liked or didn’t like about a dress I had on. The day of my wedding, I couldn’t have been happier with my choice and received so many compliments on my dress from both guests and vendors!

My stylist asked thoughtful questions and provided amazing guidance, never pushing me to an answer but instead guiding me to what I eventually found to be the answer. * I planned on going to Ava Laurénne Bride years before getting engaged. Knowing ALB is the largest bridal boutique in Virginia, my plan was to take advantage of the National Bridal Sale during the month of July. I ended up getting engaged on July 29th, which happened to be the last day of the sale, so I just missed it. I talked to the stylist that runs their Instagram a few times to discuss various concerns and she eased ALL of my worries. The day of my appointment, my stylist was Abi, and she was the BEST!! I felt like we were lifelong friends just catching up! Abi listened to my vision and found dresses that were perfect, but also dresses that were a little different. I was thankful that she knew when to bring the dresses that were outside of my vision so that I could still see them just in case. When I was torn between two dresses, Abi never questioned my idea of adding a belt, and agreed with it. Sure enough, once she added the cathedral veil, I knew that dress was the one! The experience at ALB is better than anything I’ve seen on TLC and I would encourage anyone to go to the Fredericksburg, VA location or check out the new location in SC. I am so happy to be an Ava Laurénne Bride and love that I can go back to visit whenever! I’ve even thought about trying to work there part time to help other brides find their dream dress.

Finding my dress at Ava Laurénne was a great experience. I had been to several other shops first, and even though I had a very clear idea of what I wanted, I wasn't finding something that checked all the boxes. Julie, my consultant, was a joy to work with. She took me out of my own head, reminded me that this decision had to be made by feeling (instead of just thinking!), and was so knowledgable about alterations/customizations (while also being completely respectful of budget!). We found "the one" in minutes, and I came back a month later with my mom to show her before purchasing. My mom is very opinionated, but Julie and Bea handled the situation like pros so that I could enjoy saying yes to the dress. The experience at ALB felt very reminiscent of sorority recruitment, which some folks may not feel comfortable with, but I didn't mind. Everyone was genuinely nice and extremely professional, and they really made the dress shopping experience feel special. Thank you, ALB!

Ava Laurenne was incredible for finding my dress. I went in expecting to try a few on to get ideas of what I was looking for and Patty found THE dress for me. I purchased off the rack and was able to leave my dress at the store until I was ready for fitting and alterations with Shannon from Mackenzie Clare who works out of the Ava Laurenne store. They have also been super helpful with recommending places for steaming before the wedding closer to home for me and very responsive to questions about cleaning and preservation after the wedding. I highly recommend Ava Laurenne!

Ava Laurenne Bride was my first and only stop on my wedding dress journey! From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience and everyone was so kind and helpful. The showroom is gorgeous and inviting, and all of the dresses were stunning. Natalie made me feel so comfortable and special trying on dresses. She encouraged me to try on all different styles and I am so grateful for her advice, because I ended up with a dress that I never expected that made me feel so beautiful and special!

ALB provided a great experience for trying on gowns for the first time. The staff are friendly, encouraging, and make the experience comfortable for brides and their guests. Don't sleep on the "White Friday" sale around the holidays. I found my veil at a great discount.

Ava Laurenne is THE BEST bridal shop! I'd shopped around at a few spots before finding ALB - and it was a total game change. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Natali helped me find my dress - I went in with an idea of what I wanted and she helped me pick and chose the aspects of the dress that were important to me. Overall - I went with a dress I wouldn't have expected to chose but it was PERFECTION.

This was the first and ONLY bridal shop I needed to go to! I tried on three dresses and then found the most perfect one! It was such an easy and relaxing experience finding my dress at Ava Laurenne and I can't recommend them enough! When I got engaged I knew this is where I wanted to go and I was no let down! I cannot rave about this boutique enough!!! It was amazing from the time we entered until we left. I did not think I would find my dress at the first place I looked considering how picky I am but our assistant really understood what I was looking for and appealed to my taste. They made my “say yes to the dress” day feel as special and memorable as the wedding itself!

My experience with Ava Laurénne (so far) has been amazing. I went in for a bridal appointment alone, I needed to decide on what I like without the influence of other people. The shop is gorgeous and massive! I had the whole place to myself! So many beautiful dresses on display, even in the upper level. My stylist was so kind and so fun to work with, she pulled a few different dresses for me to try and helped me in, clipping me in so I would be able to visualize what the dress would look like even though it was too small/big on. The experience was seriously something out of a movie. Definitely worth the 1+ hour drive for me!

The try on experience was like no other!! It was by far the most personable and special experience. The dress options are unbelievably gorgeous along with the venue itself. There were some communication mistakes on their part and they completely took ownership and did everything (above and beyond!!) they possibly could to make it right. I bought my dress “Jamie” there and couldn’t be happier with how beautiful it was on our big day!

The girls here are the absolute SWEETEST! I had several personal emergencies come up so I wasn't able to pick the dress up when it came in. It stayed an extra 3 weeks. Everyone was extremely understanding and even asked if there was anything they could do. I HIGHLY recommend this shop, they are great!!

I had the most incredible experience with Virginia! She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! The consultation was amazing from the moment I walked into the store! The store itself is beautiful -- so clean, and such friendly people! Virginia pulled several dresses for me to try based on the photos I showed her, and the first dress I tried on ended up being "the one"! I cannot recommend Ava Laurenne and Virginia enough!

So excited I got set up with my girl Katie who was seriously the best in helping me find my perfect dress. Her and Jordan then helped make it even more special for me by adding a jacket to the look to give me the 3/4 length sleeve option I loved. I still had appointments at other shops but couldn't get Ava Laurenne or the combo they put together for me out of my mind, so with Katie's help I went back a few days later to officially say yes to my private label Amira dress with Justin Alexander jacket. Katie also did my pick up appointment and helped me find a veil. I loved having the same stylist each time I visited the shop, so personal and caring. Truly the most amazing experience and now community to be a part of!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Katie was FANTASTIC and made sure I had the best picture of what my dress would look like. They made me feel like I was the most important and did everything they could to make sure I had the dress I wanted.

I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ava Laurenne! I called the store before making an appointment to discuss pricing, what designers they carry, and what COVID-19 precautions they were taking. The person I spoke with was incredibly helpful over the phone and made me feel like the drive to Fredericksburg (from Richmond) would be worth it. Natalie was my consultant during the appointment and I feel like she not only listened to what I was looking for, but really helped me figure out exactly what look I was going for. I especially appreciated that every dress she brought me to try was under budget! I tried on about 6 or 7 dresses total and Natalie was so accommodating - she knew exactly what questions to ask and made sure that I got plenty of pictures in each style. The samples were very clean and you can tell the staff takes a lot of care with them to keep them in good condition. Their space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. While I only brought one guest with me, but there is ample space for larger parties. There is plenty of distance between the many try on areas and I never felt like I was fighting for mirror space or intruding on another bride's appointment. I ended up choosing one of their private label dresses and paid in November. When I went to pick it up in January, they were kind enough to let me FaceTime my mom when I tried it on and let me try it with a few veils to get an idea of what looked best. Lastly, one of the best parts was the online payment portal they provide you with after you decide to purchase. I really liked that I was able to pay for my dress over the course of a few months instead of a one-time, large payment. Having that flexibility was great, especially when you're balancing deposits with all the other wedding vendors. I couldn't be happier with my dress and buying from Ava Laurenne - from start to finish, it was just beyond my expectations!

Dress shopping is one of the main activities I have looked forward to since getting engaged (other then marrying my best friend). I am so glad I found Ava Laurenne bride! They have huge selection that is under 2K which was oddly hard to find when calling around to bridal salons. The consultants are great at asking the right questions to help you eliminate styles and find what is truly perfect. Like most brides the dress I said "yes" to was the OPPOSITE of what I came in for! It was with the help of the Ava Laurenne team that I found the PERFECT gown. I cannot wait until May/June when it arrives and I get to put it on again :) I did a standard 90 minute appointment, we went over on time but the staff was very friendly about it. If you are able to afford the Princess Experience (3-4 hour appointment) you should do it! They have SO many dresses that 90 minutes really did feel rushed.

Dress shopping at Ava Laurenne was better than any dress shopping experience I could have ever imagined! Virginia, Jordan, and Katie were absolutely amazing and so attentive to our group. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was at Ava Laurenne. Natali was the most amazing listener -- she was able to pick up on everything I liked/didn't like as I was trying on various dresses and ended up putting together a skirt/jacket/belt combo that truly was my dream dress. It was everything I had envisioned and she was able to put it together in just our one hour visit, while being completely respectful of my budget!! And after the purchase, I have to say everyone was great -- especially given the tighter timeline because of the current situation. They kept us updated, were very friendly and always helpful. What an amazing experience! I visited the shop in early February and it took my breath away! The building is amazing, spotless and has the perfect feel to find your perfect dress. My group and I were quickly greeted and taken to our area. Each area is secluded enough to have a private fitting and truly enjoy this special time. Jordan was my spectacular guide to finding the perfect dress! She was thoughtful, listened and created an experience myself and my group will never forget. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ava Laurenne! From the minute my sisters, mom, and I walked through the doors we knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and all the staff are anxious to make you feel like a princess. We had been to a shop earlier in the day who chose dresses for me and limited the number I could try on, so we were pleasantly surprised when we were told we could browse on our own to pick out some dresses to try on while they also chose styles based on my wants! My sisters had so much fun finding dresses for me, and actually ended up finding my perfect dream dress. They worked with my budget and didn't try to upsell me on anything. The store did a great job notifying me of my dress arriving, and worked with my schedule as I lived out of town. They let me wear my dress as long as I wanted when I came to pick it up, and I never felt rushed or pressured. They don't have in-house alterations so I was able to take my dress to any seamstress I chose (so helpful when you live out of town!). They also provided a preservation service I was able to purchase at the time of dress pick up. My mom dropped my dress off after my wedding and they dealt with sending it out for me! I highly highly recommend anyone who wants a personalized wedding dress experience to check this place out!

I went into Ava Laurenne thinking it would just be for fun and I wouldn't actually find my dress there.... Well.... 2 dresses later and I am walking out having bought my dress at the first store I went too! While their gowns are far above any other store in this area, it is the experience that they do so well. Katie and her team make you feel like you are the most important and beautiful bride, whether you buy a dress or not. Plus their new store is a DREAM! You have to book an appointment and I'll say it is a high chance you will walk out having found your dress!

Ava Laurenne was the first bridal shop I went to; I had never tried on a wedding dress and I really had no intention of buying a dress at the first shop I visited. But the atmosphere was so warm and comfortable and the staff so friendly that it was easy to zero in on what I was looking for and to find my perfect dress! It was a wonderful experience to share with my mom, sister, and future mother-in-law!

From the moment you walk into this place, to the moment you walk down the aisle, you are a freaking PRINCESS to the employees at Ava Laurenne. They treat you like ROYALTY. They have unique dresses and they have dresses for all budgets. You may pass the shop walking through downtown Fredericksburg and think no way can I afford to shop there, but honestly, I know girls who have gotten BEAUTIFUL dresses on a budget. Also – there was a problem with my dress. Not because of Ava Laurenne and I will spare you the details, but when I say that they went ABOVE and BEYOND to fix the problem, I mean it. They didn’t just fix the problem, but they compensated me for it as well. They went out of their way the ENTIRE time for me up until the DAY I walked down the aisle. & because I was one girl, who had an issue with their dress, and ALB fixed it and went above and beyond, this is WHY I recommend them. If what happened to me, happened at a David’s Bridal…I guarantee you that I would not have walked down the aisle in the same dress I bought. Plus perks of ALB – your dress is unique. I bet you, none of your girlfriends from high school will be in the same dress you were !!! Also I’m biased, but the employee Katie is the ABSOLUTE BEST.

Katie helped me find my dream gown. It was the first one I tried on and I knew right away! She made my experience perfect and Ava Laurenne’s Atmosphere is so chic and intimate so I highly recommend it!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ava Laurenne Bride. After a not-so-great experience at another bridal salon, I was nervous that I would never find my dress. From the moment I walked in, my attitude changed. Everyone greeted me like I was the only bride in the world. My consultant listened to what I was envisioning and looked at pictures I had saved. My party and I were able to go pull dresses we liked while my consultant pulled things she thought would work. She helped me eliminate dresses as we tried them on while never being pushy. She pulled an off-the-shoulder jacket, strapless dress, and a beautiful belt to create the dress I had been imagining. I loved several dresses we tried on, but in the end it was the combination she picked that was definitely the best. I left being so excited and happy with my choice and the experience. My party was so impressed with the level of service we experienced. Today I went back to pick up my dress, and my consultant came down to the pick-up area just to say hello and see what the dress looked like on, even though she wasn't the one helping me. I felt so prioritized the entire time I was there. You cannot get a better bridal experience than at Ava Laurenne Bride.

Going to Ava Laurenne Bride to get my wedding dress was the best decision I could have made. They absolutely deserve every single one of their 5 stars, if I could give them more I would! I was really more anxious than excited about going wedding dress shopping. I had real, panic inducing fears that I would not be able to find the one, or that I would love everything on the hanger and hate it when I put it on me. Brittany, my consultant, was AMAZING! She was very bubbly and inviting when we first walked in. She put my anxieties at ease and made me feel very comfortable during the entire process. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of dresses that I was able to try on, not wearing a traditional sample size. Brittany took the time to listen to what I wanted. She told us we could look through the gowns and she would pull anything I wanted to try on. Looking through the dresses, there were so many beautiful gowns that I felt like we were pulling every other dress. In reality we probably pulled about 15 dresses which Brittany tirelessly helped me in and out of. She was so attentive and really paid attention to my reaction to each dress and how it made me feel. As a result, she helped me eliminate a few of the dresses based on the style and how I reacted to other dresses of similar style. About half way through the gowns that we picked out, Brittany pointed out a dress that was hanging in the back by the dressing rooms. She asked what I thought about it, and if I would like to try it on. There was no denying that Brittany had just found MY dress. There are no words to describe how I felt when I saw it on. The closest thing I can come to is MAGICAL. It was not what I expected to find, but when I saw it I knew! After finding this amazing, unicorn of a gown Brittany helped me put on the 1st of 4 “favorites” gowns that we had set aside for the very end. She patiently waited while I reevaluated each one of these four dresses. The final two dresses Brittany accessorized for me so that I could get a better visual; she added a belt and veil. But, in the end my unicorn dress was absolutely the ONE! I even started crying, and I did not think I would cry. This is the best experience any bride could want. We were probably there for about 2 hours, and I never once felt rushed or ignored. Brittany listened to what we wanted, from budget to style, and managed our expectations flawlessly. As it turns out, the price of the gown was under our budget, including the belt that Brittany had accessorized the dress with! I cannot express how grateful I am for the experience they gave me. The whole team at Ava Laurenne was warm, kind, and inviting and Brittany was heaven sent!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Ava Laurenne. The consultant was SO attentive to myself and my preferences and had great ideas and opinions to help me find my dream dress. Everyone was SO patient with me (when I wanted to try on several different dresses several different times..haha) and I really felt like they cared so much about helping me in whatever way they could. I would give 10 stars if I could... I met with Katie and she is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! She is wonderful and listened to all my needs, wants, and expectations and exceeded any experience I could've imagined. There are so many designs and dresses to choose from! I found a gorgeous dress that I LOVE! Highly recommend this shop!!!!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Ava Laurenne. Coming off the heels of a fine, but rather vanilla experience at another salon, everything from the moment I stepped into the salon really set it apart. Patty sat down with me before I ever touched a dress and really listened to what I was looking for. The first dress she had in mind when I was talking turned out to be "the one." Patty was super respectful of my budget and my tastes and never once did anyone try to up-sell me on anything. Everyone there was so nice (included accommodating my very enthusiastic friends) and from start to finish it was just the perfect experience! I would absolutely recommend Ava Laurenne to any bride looking for an amazing dress shopping experience.
