If I could give her 10 stars or 100 I would. I cannot say enough about how much we absolutely loved working with Ava. From the beginning introduction to receiving our gallery, she is the epitome of a professional and absolutely nicest person to work with. We hired her based upon previous reviews and her comprehensive overview of what she can provide and how she works. We didnt get to meet until a few months before our wedding when we did our engagement shoot with her. She was such an awesome guide, as neither my husband or I know how to pose or take pictures without looking awkward. She walks you through every step and even took the time to give my daughter a few shots on a pirate ship because she wanted to be cool. We were already impressed with her at that point but it was on our wedding day where she shined even brighter. She made everyone and I mean everyone in our family and guests feel included and welcomed in the photos. She knows all the great areas to take a photo and captures the best lighting she can on your day to make your photos standout. She will even push a boat of drunk people out of the shot in order to get you the photo you want and need!!! She works really fast and gets you previews of your photos shortly after the wedding and before you know it, you have your photo album ready! Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous and it had everything to do with how she has perfected her craft over the years. Do not even think twice about hiring her, she is who you want and need! we cant wait to renew our vows because she will be the photographer we pick again and again.

I’m not quite sure how to put into words how amazing and talented Nicole is. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone, she put me at ease and I knew there was no one else I would want to photograph our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process she was so organized and thorough. She put all my worries at ease, and went above and beyond to make sure that all my dreams were turned into a reality. We first got our engagement pictures done with her and we were completely blown away with how talented she was. I knew that if our wedding pictures were anything like our engagement pictures I would be thrilled. Not to mention, she was THE sweetest soul. She made you feel so comfortable. Even my (now) husband didn’t have a complaint despite taking pictures in the middle of a HOT July day because of how wonderful she was. On the day of our wedding Nicole arrived early and got started right away. She and her crew were so sweet and put this bride’s mind at ease immediately. Nicole was able to be direct without being overbearing and organize a large wedding party with ease. Our large families and long list of shots we wanted didn’t bother them a bit. Every single moment of our day was effortless, organized, and enjoyable. Her and her crew blended into our crowd so easily that we would often forget they were even there or we were being photographed. We were able to completely enjoy our entire day without feeling the pressure of a camera. THEN… we received our sneak peek and WOW… she completely blew us away. As we scrolled through our preview we smiled, we laughed, we cried… we got to relive our day! I truly couldn’t ask for anything more! I cannot wait to see the rest and to be able to start decorating our house with our pictures. Choosing the right photographer was so important to me and I know from the bottom of my heart we chose the best choice when choosing Nicole with Ava Moore Photography. Ava Moore is the easiest decision you can make around your wedding day - next to your partner that is! She is gifted with her talents as a photographer and her ability to so beautifully capture the love surrounding such a special day. From the first phone call, I felt that she totally understood what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day, and based upon her experience even helped to make suggestions for how to achieve that vision. She helped to build out our day-of timeline based upon what was most important to us - the whole day I was able to remain present and in the moment because of her - I felt in good hands and trusted her. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say Ava Moore captured our wedding in a way I didn't know possible and surpassed any expectation I could have. Where to even begin... Nicole blew us away from the very beginning. I am a wedding planner by profession, so I was very picky selecting our vendors. Photography was super important to me, so it was one of the first things I began searching. After our initial phone call, I found out that she was booked on our date. I immediately called all of our vendors and asked if they were open the next weekend, and then changed our date so we could hire Nicole. During engagement photos, bridal portraits, and the day of the wedding, she was so calm, kind, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! We have the best photos from our wedding, and already have them all over our house. I'm still frequently flipping through all of our photos, and reliving the best day. If you're considering her, HIRE HER. It was one of the best decisions we made during planning!

Incredibly talented and kind—that is Ava Moore Photography! My husband and I are so lucky to have had Nicole behind the lens as our wedding photographer on our special day as well as our engagement photos! She has created memories for us that we will always cherish and be able to relive over and over! We have been married a year now and her images bring us so much joy. Nicole is organized, conscientious, and makes miracles happen even when weather conditions are not ideal! She is creative and tasteful! Since the wedding photos were one of the single items that last more than a day, I was extremely focused on and pick about our wedding photographer. However, from our first conversation (and of course after looking at her impeccable instagram feed full of timeless, beautiful film photos), I knew that my husband and I had to work with Ava for our wedding day. She was so interested in the story of us from the start and my vision for the wedding, and ensured that her photography style was aligned with my wedding day vision. A few months after hiring her, Ava contacted us saying it was time for engagement photos. My husband and I were not married to location for them and were open to Ava's suggestions. After she learned of our Paris engagement and my love with the city, she suggested the Biltmore for our session. She could not have suggested a better spot. The photos were FLAWLESS and she made my camera shy husband (sorry sweetie), look like a natural. However, the engagement photos were just the start. Ava worked hand-in-hand with our wedding planner to develop a day-of timeline that worked best to allow us to spend as much time during the wedding with our family and friends, which we prioritized above all else. Our planner even commented several times on how organized and knowledgeable she was! When the day finally came, Ava could not have been better. She arrived early to capture getting ready photos, ensure she had enough time for beautiful detail shots, and arrive at our wedding location before we arrived. She made our first look so comfortable and was somehow everywhere, at every moment. Flash forward to a month later, when we received our gallery. Each and every photo was INCREDIBLE and allowed my husband and i to relive one of the best days over and over again. She somehow managed to get the beautiful film photos i have always oogled over on instagram and catch all the sweaty, fun moments from our reception that we never want to forget. My husband and I are so grateful that we hired Ava for our photographer, and would do so over and over again. If you are even considering her, do not hesitate. I promise it will be one of the best decisions you will ever make for your wedding!

Look no further! Ava is SO talented! From the first time we talked on the phone she is so nice and excited to hear our engagement story and wedding plans. The entire year she cares about us as a couple, not just another wedding. Engagement photos were a breeze and a great way to get comfortable in front of a camera. Once wedding day came she arrived early and started photos immediately. She kept the schedule but also made sure I was comfortable and took great photos. It had rained and was wet outside but we worked around it and made it fun. You cant even tell in the photos. She made our couple photos so easy by giving us little tricks but also ignoring us at times to let us be ourselves. It didn't feel awkward or forced, we just had fun with it! As far as the reception goes she and her assistant were all over the dance floor and captured all kind of fun. Our dance floor was pretty packed but they still made it work! All in all she is the best and I HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you SO much!!

Nicole is seriously a master of her craft! We've only seen our sneak peek so far, but I already know the rest of our photos are going to be amazing. We got married on a Friday and already had a sneak peek to look at on the following Tuesday! How awesome is that? Even before we booked Nicole the communication was great, so I knew she was the right choice. I was planning our wedding from out of town so she even gave me some recommendations on videographers in the area as well. I absolutely love her style of photography-all of our photos look natural and she has a way of capturing you in the moment. If you're still looking for a photographer book Ava Moore Photography. Our only regret is that we couldn't do our engagement photos with her as well!

I cannot express in words how much we love Nicole! She is amazingly talented, and so so kind! We loved working with her. Our wedding was pushed back about a month due to Hurricane Florence, and Nicole was exceptionally accommodating to make our new date work. She arrived more than early which was wonderful because it allowed for some buffer time, was exceptionally responsive leading up to our big day, was great for advice when I needed an opinion, and her calm and gentle demeanor on our wedding day helped to calm our nerves and put us at ease! My only regret is that we didn't have more time with her! I feel like the day went by so quickly and I wish we had had more time just to chat with her! She had a sneak peek ready for us just a few days after our wedding, and they are absolutely stunning! Everything I wanted brought together in one image. I would recommend Nicole to anyone for any occasion, but especially your wedding! She takes her job seriously, but is fun and gentle on a day when you need to minimize stress! She also produces the most magical and incredible photos - which was the most important thing to me on our day!

Nicole shot my sisters wedding in Charleston in 2015, and when I got engaged in 2017 (in New York) she was the only person I could have imagined shooting my wedding. She did such an amazing job at my sisters wedding and when looking around in New York for a photographer I just couldn't find someone who I felt did as good of a job as her. When I contacted Nicole just to see if it was possible for her to come to NY she did not hesitate for a second. There was no way she was going to miss my wedding even if it meant flying in for the weekend! Nicole was amazing to work both before and during the wedding. She is so professional and truly loves what she does. She made sure everything was ready before the wedding and had our timeline set perfectly. Nicole was such a breath of fresh air the day of our wedding. She was willing to make changes when necessary but kept everyone in the right place at the right time. Our pictures came out amazing and we got them back quicker than I could have ever imagined! We still to this day received compliments on them and we get to spend our weeks reliving our special day thanks to her!

Nicole is a true professional! We used her for engagement, bridal and wedding photography for my daughter’s big day!! The pictures are absolutely stunning. Her artistry through photography is exceptional. Not only is she a great photographer, but also a wonderful person. We will use her in the future for any photography needs we have! Hiring Nicole to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. She accommodated us bringing our two pups along for our engagement photos and captured beautiful pictures. She also did my bridal portraits and they all looked great and she did a good job of posing me without too much movement so I wouldn’t mess up my dress before our wedding day. On our wedding day, she did a great job of staying organized and directive so we could get all the photos we wanted. We received our photos back well before the contracted date and had 1300 photos to choose from (we chose the option to have a second photographer). She’s awesome to work with and created beautiful, classic photos. We highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!

My husband and I just received our sneak peeks and we were blown away! Our pictures were amazing! We can't wait to get the rest of them back. I also used Nicole for a bridal session and every single photo was beautiful. She is so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable in the skin you are in. Nothing but wonderful things to say about Nicole. My husband and I are not fans of having our pictures taken but from the moment we met Nicole for our engagement pictures she made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. she captured so many special moments at our wedding and we could not be happier . I am so happy we chose Nicole to be our wedding photographer. I was blown away by how our engagement pictures turned out after we had to make a last minute change of location. She recommended just going downtown and we figured we got all dolled up and ready, sure! Well, now I cannot imagine them being any where else! It is impossible to choose my favorites out of my engagement and wedding pictures because they are all so perfect! We had a list of set pictures we wanted from the wedding, but the ones where she posed us around the venue or took candidly are better than we could have even imagined! We had the pleasure of working with Nicole, Owner of Ava Moore Photography for our wedding at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant, SC on August 22, 2015. Working with Nicole was stress free, exciting and most of all, fun! She is so detailed, organized and truly passionate about her work. Nicole not only took the time to listen to our vision for the day and find out what was important to us, she actually cared! She worked with our wishes to create the most perfect, detailed photography timeline for our big day. She was so patient throughout the planning process as we had to make a few changes to the timeline to suit all vendors, family schedules, etc. not once did I feel I was bothering her or annoying her with questions or change requests. Nicole accommodated my bridal party and I by coming to the 'Bridal House' where we got ready and she arrived over a half hour early and started shooting right away! She was independent and just took charge of gathering the items she needed for the photos (i.e. my dress, shoes, jewelry, etc.). She fit right in with all of us girls! It began to rain shortly after she arrived and she didn't show one bit of stress about the bridal party pictures that we originally wanted to take outside. She picked the best spots for us to work with on the porch of the house and the pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. I still can't get over her keen eye for matching the background with our wedding colors. I swear these pictures could be in a Charleston wedding magazine! If you're in the market for a photographer anywhere around the Charleston area, I HIGHLY recommend booking Nicole for your next event! She is a kind hearted, charismatic and talented photographer! She's all about you and your wishes and I have no doubt she will capture your day as perfectly as she did ours!

Booking Nicole was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning! She was actually the first vendor we booked as we knew how important it would be to have our day so beautifully documented. Nicole was more than our photographer from day one! She helped me pick out my outfit for our engagement shoot, she got excited about all the little details of our day, and she even text me encouraging words when the stresses of wedding planning were pretty high! She made sure we were prepared to have an amazing day despite the rain by making suggestions about hair styles that would photograph well and told us it was a good idea to get umbrellas just in case when the forecast wasn’t in our favor(thankfully we didn’t need to use them). The day of went absolutely perfect and we are thankful for the good mixture of formal & candid pictures to remember it by! There were so many pictures that captured the sentimental side of the day as well as pictures that we couldn’t stop laughing at! I can't even express how happy I was with my decision to have Nicole as our wedding photographer! She was very helpful, professional and sweet during the planning process, we felt that she really cared about our special day. That's the kind of customer service that goes above and beyond all your expectations! She was quick to answer emails and follow up on the wedding details, and even visited our venue before the wedding. We had such great time having our pictures taken, she made us feel at ease and even my husband, who doesn't like taking pictures, really enjoyed it! The photos were absolutely amazing!!! It says that Ava Moore Photography is in Atlanta, but we used her in Charleston, SC for our wedding in October 2013. Nicole and her husband are awesome! I don't have enough kind words to say about them! They do wonderful work and make you feel so comfortable. I recommend Ava Moore Photography to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be using her for future photo moments such as maternity and when we have children. She is the BEST!!!!!

Nicole did an amazing job! I cannot express in words how wonderful she is or how much talent she possesses. The photos from my wedding are magical! Very easy to communicate with and was always quick to answer my emails without issue. Even when I through so last minute requests for additional family shots she made it happen. She had the best ideas for additional locations to shoot and had backups when one of those fell though. I cant wait to have her do our anniversary photos next year!

Niki (Ava Moore Photography) was wonderful! She did our engagement and wedding pictures. I cannot say enough good things about her and her skills. 1st of all, she was very personable and made us feel relaxed and comfortable right away. She was very sweet, easy going, and great to work with. 2nd, and even more importantly, the quality of her work was fantastic.The way she was able to capture the details was exceptional and she did a great job with editing them and making each picture special. I would highly reccomend her to anyone...in fact my sister is getting married in December and has booked her already!

We used Nikki as our wedding photographer. My husband knows another photographer that she often works with, so we got a pretty good deal. Nikki was very professional and so nice! She got many of the shots that I wanted, and made sure to have a list of shots to get. She kept in touch with us often, which I definitely needed during the planning process! She also brought an assistant, which I think helped a lot. She is not incredibly experienced, but she still does a great job. The only thing I would say to watch out for is that on the day of the wedding, make sure to suggest poses if you want them.
