I worked with Justine for two months prior to the wedding, and she recommended and emailed with photographers, chair rentals, a makeup artist, etc, taking a lot of the legwork off my plate while giving me great options for vendors which I was very behind on. She helped me know what little extras I needed (card box, table numbers etc); she made spreadsheets, schedules, floor plans; organized and communicated with all my vendors so everything was seamless; and set me up with two coordinators for the day of the wedding, each of whom were born to be event coordinators and who did such an incredible job. Truly couldn’t recommend her more, the day was perfect.

There was never a moment in the planning process when we felt confused or lost. It was an amazing evening that Justine, along with two of her colleagues were physically present at, helping to coordinate everything. We truly only had to think about enjoying ourselves. We liked Justine so much that we were honestly a bit sad we didn't get to see her more during the big day- but this is evidence of why she is SO good at her job. She made herself practically invisible, making sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes and allowing us to be present and enjoy our day. We realized later how right she was about certain things we hadn't been sure about, like building in enough alone-time with just the two of us. And when we did see her, she had such a relaxed and sweet presence! We couldn't be more happy we chose to work with Avalinda.

hink it's so smart that she does a three-month prior package, rather than just one month, which is standard for wedding coordinators. With three months to work together we really got a chance to know and trust each other, so by the time the wedding day came, I fully let her run the show (which is not easy for me!). Our wedding day should have had gorgeous weather like the whole week leading up to it, but instead it was cold, windy, and rainy. Justine kept hope for an outdoor ceremony alive until the last possible moment, at which point she became perfectly realistic. She let us choose and was game to do what we wanted, but she had our guests' best interests at heart and suggested we move things inside. She knew how much their comfort meant to us and I'm so grateful she prioritized them on our behalf. I could go on and on, but what I'm most grateful for in hindsight is Justine's genuine joy and enthusiasm for weddings. She's seen and been at the helm of hundreds, and yet she really celebrated and appreciated the ways we wanted to make our wedding personal to us. We hosted a floating style reception, meaning dinner was served as passed apps, small plates, and at food stations, rather than a seated dinner. We interviewed several wedding coordinators, and Justine was the most enthusiastic about this style of reception. She'd done it before and she loved it, and she made us feel so confident and comfortable about this style. She understood the vision right away, and I'm so grateful for her partnership on our event! We got so much amazing feedback from our family and friends and the evening's success had so much to do with Justine's leadership and coordination. Within a few weeks of starting to work with her, we found our venue and it was the PERFECT space for the vision we had. After finding a venue, everything fell into place smoothly. Justine thinks of literally everything, and carefully crafts a timeline for the entire year, so you don't have to stress or wonder when it's time to hire your vendors. She saved us SO much time with hiring vendors. She has MANY of them for you to choose from so you don't have to do the heavy lifting research AND she has different categories based on your budget. You also don't HAVE to use her vendors. If you already have a few vendors in mind, that's totally fine! She'll make certain to receive their contact information and loop them into your overall wedding kit where she keeps track of EVERYTHING. Also, she has the best personality. She's fun, organized, has a great sense of humor, super professional and assertive when she needs to be if your vendors are causing any trouble. Our wedding day was spectacular, magical, and ran SO smoothly. There were a few hiccups that unfolded (totally outside of her control, and honestly, hiccups WILL happen no matter what), but her persistence and determination to deliver a perfect day ensured that nothing truly went wrong. I didn't even know about the challenges she ran into until the next day and I was totally shocked by it because everything was perfect from my perspective. Also, her and her staff will make certain that you EAT! Everyone in your life is going to tell you "the couple never eats at their wedding!" Well, if you have Justine in your corner, you most certainly will have a full belly by the end of the night. After the ceremony, she escorted us to our bridal suite, blocked anyone from following us (it was epic), and had the caterer meet us with a bottle of champagne and one of each appetizer that we ordered. Her coordinators also didn't let anyone interrupt us while we ate dinner. We were SO grateful for this. Needless to say, my husband and I barely needed to lift a finger. We followed her lead, and had a stress free experience. Think of it this way: you're going to need a stage manager running the show the day of because it can't be you or a loved one. You and your loved ones deserve to enjoy the entire day, and you can't enjoy it if you're the one responsible for everything. Out of all of the things we spent money on, Justine's services was the #1 best purchase we made. I loved her more than my dress (and I LOVED my dress). Trust me, you absolutely will not regret including her in your budget. Hire her!
