Avalon Keep resides on the historic Stuart-Beam Homestead. The venue pays tribute to the Scottish Highlands via King Arthur’s legendary Avalon. Weddings, conferences, concerts and celebrations are hosted here. The venue is located four hours northeast of Dallas in a scenic mountain valley west of Mena, Arkansas. Lake Wilhelmina, Talimena Scenic Drive and Wilhelmina State Park are nearby points of interest. Camping, hiking, biking and ATV trails are popular local attractions for guests. The venue is easily accessible via numerous highways and several airports. Ten outdoor ceremony sites are maintained across the estate seating up to 300 guests. Waterfront sites include Monet’s Bridge, Wisteria Arch and The Wedding Pergola. Forest sites are: Retha’s Glen, Unity Tree and Serenity Circle. Garden sites include East Terrace, Moongate Garden and the South Meadow. A Stone Portico at the cabin seats up to 60 for intimate ceremonies and rehearsal dinners. NEW FOR 2023=24 AVALON HALL Avalon Hall is a formal all-season indoor facility providing panoramic views of nature with more than 6000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor covered celebration space. There’s a guestbook reception area, private bridal suite, separate dressing mezzanine, catering space, guest restrooms with mirrored vanities, extensive covered terraces, a stage w DMX lighting, optional JBL sound, an oversized drive-thru portico for arrivals plus exterior lighting & parking. Adjacent to Avalon Hall is a walled terrace used for banquet overflow seating and private parties. It also hosts ceremonies with up to 100 guests facing Moongate Arch. On the East side of the arch is a walled rose garden seating up to 300 guests. Moongate Arch features a “hanging garden” of roses, ivy, muscadine vines and seasonal flowering plants that clamber over the massive stone structure. Avalon Keep provides ceremony and banquet setups as well as cleanup. This allows our clients and guests to enjoy celebrating special occasions in a natural, relaxed atmosphere.
